Actually in this match I didn't see Liverpool bad because despite their defeat they still played very well although there were still some mistakes especially for their defense which always failed to mark the players from Arsenal but they were able to even equalize twice.
But Saka's penalty broke the mood and they couldn't keep up.

agreed, I think Liverpool are starting to improve a little bit, but their defense is what seems to be causing troubles for them, they conceded 11 goals in 5 matches, which the average of like 2 goals a match, it is quite a lot, and we can see that Liverpool can score, so their defense could be the weakest part of their team.

The problem was how they held off a quick counterattack.
The average goals scored against Aliison are always on quick counter-attacks that fail to be blocked because their players continue to be in front so it becomes very difficult for them.
It would be great if Klopp made real changes in this regard because if this weakness continues it will not be good for them either.

For this year I am writing off Liverpool as a title contender and I believe everyone should agree with me not because I am a football expert but because anyone can watch some Liverpool games and immediately come to the same conclusion as mine.I am a Liverpool fan but I think that the Premier League is gone now and we should focus completely on the Champions League as there are single games there and every team can make a good single game and the chances are much higher in the Champions.

In the Premier League I think City will get ahead this season with a big points difference as I don't think Arsenal will be able to keep up the good run for long.

The season is still in the first phase and as such too early to write off Liverpool. They were better off in their match against Arsenal but were unable to hold the match to a draw or win. Klopp is seriously showing improvement in his strategy all he needs is more time. The might lose of contending for the premier league title but they still have what it takes to find their way to the top four as the season progresses.

Arsenal and City remains the key contenders for this season's title and with the emulation of Arteta on Garduola's strategy both club might have to move slight difference in point until the winner emerges. It might not be easy to say which of them will take the title for the season.

Well it's still too early to say that because the game is still long with 28 remaining that's quite a long time and it's possible for Liverpool to bounce back like the previous season, the only way for Liverpool's mistakes is Klopp must be able to evaluate his strategy and players why this can happen even though last season they were very strong by competing with Mancity, but that's the process they had to run with a bad start, I say once again Klopp there is still hope for their dream of being in a tight competition in the EPL above the standings.

I know how the competition in the Premier League is when the points are so far away it's hard to catch up, but Liverpool still have the ability to get close to it they have some great players IMO so just need a change to get Liverpool back on their feet.

Some players including Salah so far are not in good form. Nunez has also not proved anything great so far although he started scoring again in the match against Arsenal. Liverpool's defense isn't great either and I'm sure the midfielders they have aren't that great either to be expected to push for more wins in the big match.

But whatever it is, I believe Liverpool have great potential to bounce back and perform well again. Actually, I don't want Manchester City to loss in this week's match against Liverpool because I believe Liverpool have a good ability to score points. Manchester City must be wary of them, Liverpool will play at home.

Liverpool is clearly very difficult to stop Manchester City from lashing out.

Liverpool usually comes alive whenever they play against Manchester city I was having high hopes for them until I saw the news about Luis Diaz's injury that is going to take him off play until next year. I wonder how klopp is going to cope with this new challenge especially since he has not had a smooth running this season in the premier League. I hope they put up a good performance against Manchester City to slow them down from chasing after us (Arsenal) on the league table. Even if they cannot win, holding them to a draw will be celebrated.

Watching Nottingham forest against Aston villa, the game is currently a draw with both teams having one goal each, but Nottingham forest needs the win the most IMO to break their run of bad luck in the season. The players in the team are not yet playing cohesively and i predict Aston Villa to be winners at the end.

So far I still expect Aston Villa to be stronger under Gerrard, because at the time of Gerrard's arrival last season Aston Villa looked to be making promising progress this season.

I don't think so, or rather imo i didn't notice any sort of improvement for Aston Villa since Gerrard arrived as manager, they have been unconvincing and have struggled continuously, Gerrard's record as Villa boss isn't all that impressive too, IIRC he has managed around 35 premier league games and has lost 16 of them, that is not an encouraging record and that is why Villa have never been comfortable on the table since he has been manager, they have 8 points this season, just four more than the team in rock bottom, we might see them in that position sooner or later.

True, Gerrard has not been able to make any significant changes, with their current position proving that Gerraad has not been able to improve the team. Maybe this match they are favored because it will be against a bad team and are at the bottom of the table, Nottingham Forest. I still doubt his performance will be able to make Aston Villa even better, with his performance like that. Maybe this is a factor in the players in the team or indeed his ability has not been able to do extraordinary things.

I am really not convinced that Aston Villa will be able to beat Nottingham Forest. If the arrival of Gerrard actually improved the performance of Aston Villa we would have seen it by now. I am going to give Aston Villa the benefit of the doubt that they might win this match only because they are playing against a team which is absolutely at the bottom of the table. And this is a very good chance for Aston Villa to get away from the relegation zone. But as I said I still highly doubt that they will be able to actually win this match.

It's still possible to happen, but something like this can only happen if they change some of the schemes they do especially in terms of their defense because until now compared to last season I think their defense is a bit weak and of course Klopp must make improvements to this.
Their goal productivity must also be honed because this is one of their assets that seems to be fading this season as well.

Arsenal are playing great now. They beat Liverpool brilliantly. Although Liverpool had more possession, Arsenal were able to capitalize on their chances and score. Arsenal took 7 shots and Liverpool only 3. Here I understand that Arsenal's defense has protected their goal quite well.

Salah was like a ghost in this match. Klopp subbed him off after 70 minutes. Something interesting has happened to Salah since he signed his new contract. He doesn't seem like he is caring about showing a solid performance just like in the old times. We aren't accustomed to see him this much ineffective in a season.

Salah is considered to have failed to maintain his good form this season, but I wouldn't say he is too bad considering Salah has scored 5 goals and 3 assists in Liverpool's 11 matches in the Premier League and Champions League. You can't expect him to keep scoring goals every matcg\h, but you can probably expect him to make a good contribution to his team in the match.

Salah has so far played all Liverpool games in the Premier League this season, but in 8 matches he has only scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists. I think an increase in form can be expected for the rest of the season, he's not the type of player who is comfortable with this kind of bad form.

same, I don't think they can beat Nottingham, it's most likely going to end in a draw, probably 1-1 as it is right now, I've seen the start of the second half nothing much there to see from both sides, double chance for Nottingham is the best in my opinion @1.65.

Salah's performance down especially in the early of the season. I don't think he has lost his magic to compete with other players but when you compare him to Haaland then I think things are far away now.

Haaland is a pure striker who actually has a special role as a target man in the scheme or tactics of Manchester City's match. While Salah who is on the right has a different role even though he is a wingers who has high goal statistics. Salah prefers to dribble and look for chance to score goals, but Haaland he prefers to receive assists for most of his goals. These two players are different, so comparing the two might not be a good idea.

I  am seeing the match and I can confirm that Aston Villa is not finding I easy in this match. They match is very really tough and with alot of pressure. Nottingham forest has understood the danger they will be when they lose this match and that is why they are playing as if their lives depend on this match.
The 2 goals of the match so far all came in the first half when Nigerian Dennis first netted within 15mins of the match. It didn't take so long before former Manchester United player - Young balanced the match with an equaliser.

Manchester United had a good reaction to their Manchester City loss. They showed a good effort against Everton and got a well-deserved 2-1 win. Everton could have scored the equalizer in the last minutes actually but De Gea made an incredible save and prevented the goal. Iwobi and Antony's goals were really impressive by the way. Antony broke a club record also as he was the first player to score in his first three league games at Manchester United.

It was nice to see Ronaldo scoring and finishing his series without a goal finally. I hope we can see him in the starting eleven next time instead of Martial. He should be given more chances in league games.

Nothing to worry about that game. Everyone reacted like United sucks all over again, and I get it they did suck at the start of the year but remember how Arsenal started last year and finished at which place.

Mohammed Salah is really having difficult time in the premier league this season with relenting efforts from the Egyptian. Liverpool are in big mess this summer after selling one of their best player, Sadio Mané to bayern Munich and they thought that they could play well without him. One can't compare Erling Haaland to Salah this season because Mohammed Salah is not active in games and Haaland scores in every single game this season.

Ronaldo has scored his first Premier League goal this season. But this goal was also the 700th goal of his club career. Ronaldo will never be happy this season. They're not in the Champions League, Manchester United have no Premier League title claim this season, and worse, Messi is starting to beat him in some statistics. Ronaldo has been having a nightmare season. It would have been better for him to go to the Arab or Chinese League instead of having an aimless season with Manchester United. It wouldn't be a surprise to me if he was transferred to a team playing in the Champions League during the winter transfer season.

If it's only about reputation and glory, maybe you are right, Messi is much better now than Ronaldo, who has only scored goals in the Premier League after 8 matches in the Premier League. The first goal saw him score 700 goals at the club level. Meanwhile, Messi has 691 goals at the club level.

Regardless of all that, I think at this time Manchester United can still be in the 5th standing and better than Liverpool who is sinking with their declining performance. Manchester City and Arsenal are playing very well. I don't think either team will lose until the game between them.  Manchester City has an excellent striker like Haaland. Arsenal's job is really tough. The defensive line will have to do its job well. The struggle between them will be a battle for leadership. It is too early to talk about the continuation of the league because there is longer time and the positions in the league will change a lot.
