I personally don't really believe Liverpool will recover quickly enough to get back into the top four, it's a tough job and they need a lot more time to recover. Because not only their attack line decreased but also their defense was very weak. Therefore, it is not enough for Liverpool to only prioritize attack, because if their defensive line is weak then having lots of goals will also be in vain. We can see how Leicester have so far been even bottom of the table, Leicester so far have 15 goals and it can be said Leicester are still prolific in scoring but unfortunately they conceded 24 goals so far which proves their defense is weak. Regarding today's match against Rangers in the Champions League I'm still not sure Liverpool will win easily, because some of the main players are injured which will certainly have an impact on their performance.

Seems difficult for Liverpool recover quickly back to top fourth standing place behind left 14 points from Arsenal but Liverpool have one postponed match against Chelsea. Surprise with Liverpool performance in this season because last several years keep dominance Primer League standing between first and second position with Manchester City, this season have to see Liverpool drop until 10th standing position. Most poor performance all line for Liverpool, not only with attacking but also defense have bad performance in this season. Until 8 games Liverpool have scored 20 goals and conceded 12 goals.

Have played in 8 games and 2 won, 4 draw and 2 loss seems Liverpool not become candidate for winning primer league trophy looking on how many points left from Arsenal as 1st position standing right now.

after losing to Arsenal and now going to meet Man City. this might just be a pretty painful blow for Klopp.

Liverpool's sudden fall from grace isn't surprising to me because for 2 to 3 seasons they have depended on the same set of players, this players have represented the club at top level and all competitions and I expected to see most of them suffer fatigue from constant play and match fixtures. The match between Liverpool and Manchester city will be a really interesting game to watch, Klopp wouldn't want to get a second loss and Pep Guardiola wouldn't want the gap away from Arsenal to increase so it will be a competitive game to watch.

Liverpool problem is critical, before it was all about the exit of Sadio Mané that have been a big pressure on the team to carry and have left  Mohammed Salah stranded and struggling in the team. Let's take for instance, when Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9 nil, Salah was present in the game and he failed to either score or give assist in the game. Then if it was when Mané was still in Liverpool, that kind of frustration for the Egyptian wouldn't have happened, we would have seen Salah on the scoresheet and probably score either a brave or an hattrick. The reds are not in form and that's the major reason behind their losing and sharing draw points.

I feel like it’s not Salah's problem alone, I feel like it's the whole team playing with absolutely no passion at all. It is understandable because they were at UCL finals last year and lost, all due to Real's Goalkeeper (Courtois) playing one of the all time greatest games ever. This caused them to lose passion, and they feel like even though they play their best, they could still end up losing.

There is a toll on someone’s soul to lose UCL finals and they did it twice against Real now, and they keep losing to City on premier league as well. That "we were just there and still lost" keeps on putting more baggage to them and they finally cracked this year I believe.

Based on what Liverpool demonstrated to defeated Rangers 7-1 for the favour of Liverpool, showed that Liverpool coach has solved the problem of the team because Salah was able to score three goals from the match. I think, Liverpool will use home advantage to achieve victory from Manchester city because they will like to prove to other teams that they have changed positively by defeating Manchester city with 1-0. Arsenal was still in its good performance as well as liverpool. I think that's not true if liverpool was still facing a difficult position. There are so many remaining matches in EPL. Anything can happen. Someone club may able to get lose streak at the end of season.

Exactly what I was saying yesterday. This big win over Rangers is a big boost to Liverpool but it is not a guarantee that Liverpool will perform well against Manchester City. I have to say yes, inconsistent play is still the main obstacle for Jurgen Klopp's squad. Liverpool are still in the underperforming phase for the premier league. although there are still many games left until the end of the season, but it seems difficult to be in second place in the standings in the near future.
14 points adrift of the leader of the standings, is not something that is easy to pursue in the near future. there are some unresolved problems within the Liverpool team itself, plus some of these players who have to miss the next few games. this is an obstacle for Klopp to bring his troops to always win the battle in every match.

If you take notice in Tottenham xi you know that kane and son are main stay that the only rotate the other attacking position with either Kulusevski or Richarlison because Kane and son are more of world class but in midfield it amaze me when I see Holjberg and Bentaccur starting every game when there is Oliver Skipp and Bissouma on the bench, I can understand that Skipp is just coming back from an long injury that have kept him out for long but what I don't understand is Bissouma, he is experience in the premier League,he is strong, he passed well when he was at Brighton last season,you can assume that he can play in any top six team but now he can't get into Tottenham team, or are Holgberg and Bentaccur world class too or he is not that good as we expected?
