My guess is early in the season Liverpool and Man City will dominate the league. But it seems liverpool have not been able to put on their best display. Liverpool were not even stable in some games. The defeat to Arsenal also made it even more difficult for them to compete in the top ranks. It even seems that they are worse than Man United.
Another problem right now is the racist accusations made by Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson. I read in the local media if Henderson was called the FA for that investigation. If it is proven then maybe they will lose Henderson for a few games, I believe it is detrimental.

I also think the same last season's fierce competition will be repeated especially after both teams signed new players who were both top scorers in the previous league unfortunately our predictions are wrong Liverpool's performance is far from expectations they were thrown to the 10th rank. But yesterday Liverpool made a surprise in the Champions League hopefully it's a good start to get their performance back.

After watching Liverpool demolished Rangers in the champions League this evening and Mohamed Salah scoring a second half hattrick after coming on from the bench, I thought to myself that this is the turning point for Liverpool, if there's one thing every Liverpool will wish for is to see the old Salah back, who has goal scoring luck, and I am having a feeling that they can upset Manchester city this weekend, and they also have an advantage playing at home, with Salah in form Liverpool can rise back because they built their came around his style.

Arsenal was still in its good performance as well as liverpool. I think that's not true if liverpool was still facing a difficult position. There are so many remaining matches in EPL. Anything can happen. Someone club may able to get lose streak at the end of season.
This will help liverpool so much, i think that we can't speculate until we will enter into the end of season. If player was doing something wrong and he must be sanctioned no matter what happened with him.

Exactly what I was saying yesterday. This big win over Rangers is a big boost to Liverpool but it is not a guarantee that Liverpool will perform well against Manchester City. I cited when Liverpool scored upto 9 goals against Bournemouth and ended up not being strong and consistent. However it might be, Liverpool is a team that knows how to play Manchester City, they will try their best but I am not expecting a win from Liverpool, not even now they are struggling with form and lost important players to transfer window and injury.

I have to say yes, inconsistent play is still the main obstacle for Jurgen Klopp's squad. Liverpool are still in the underperforming phase for the premier league. although there are still many games left until the end of the season, but it seems difficult to be in second place in the standings in the near future.
14 points adrift of the leader of the standings, is not something that is easy to pursue in the near future. there are some unresolved problems within the Liverpool team itself, plus some of these players who have to miss the next few games. this is an obstacle for Klopp to bring his troops to always win the battle in every match.

Liverpool with an impressive performance last season,  it is so surprising started and Liverpool has been finding it difficult to win most of their games, as a result of this Liverpool can be found in the middle of the premier league table.
