Arsenal and Chelsea made no mistake in the derby week and took 3 points each away from home. Aston Villa, managed by Steven Gerrad, didn't play badly against Chelsea but struggled to score goals. Aston Villa had more scoring chances but it was chelsea who made the most of them. I would like to mention that Arsenal also got a very important 3 points even though they struggled away.

Arsenal's win is quite important too but Chelsea evolved to be a great team in my opinion. What Graham Potter does best is analyze the players very well and analyze very quickly in which position he would be better. He has been playing Mount in midfield for two matches. Yes, I understand how you feel. indeed before this match, many people predicted that Manchester City would easily beat Liverpool. But in fact, the results of tonight's match actually surprised many parties. Liverpool's game tonight was full of high fighting power, I saw all the Reds players had the same vision to fight from adversity and it was proven that the collective game played by Klopp's troops was able to disrupt Klopp's strategy tonight and finally Liverpool managed to get important points and give the first defeat for Manchester City.

Liverpool won their match against Manchester City but I will not praise them that much because they missed so many chances because of greediness of the individual players. If they have converted many of their chances, it would have been atleast 3goals. Salah was very greedy so many occasions and did not pass the ball but the worst of it was Nunez who was blatantly selfish and yet could not score a goal.
Thanks to salah that finally made it up for the Liverpool Club. It is a win for the rest of EPL clubs who are unable to beat Man City.

I think the league is still open for everyone, after seeing Liverpool versus Manchester City today, with tactics klopp makes Manchester City looks ordinary, with their first defect of the season I think other teams won't be that scared of them again, I think the teams that will fight for the title is Manchester city, arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea, we all know that city remains the favourite, while arsenal are proving to be the most consistent team in England, in Tottenham you expect them as contender because of Conte and Chelsea has a world-class squad.

The game is wrapped up and Liverpool is victorious. Firs team to actually make Manchester City record a lose this season. Its so unexpected but Klopp has proved his ingenuity once more. I never would have thought it possible looking at the form of Liverpool.

Liverpool beat Manchester City 1-0. I'd say both teams played a bit nervously. Liverpool took the risk because they were the hosts.  I don't think it was a very enjoyable game.
United failed to take advantage of the derby week and drew at home. Of course, the opponent is not an easy opponent. You're playing a team with one defeat in 10 games. If he had won this game maybe things would have been better.

Maybe it started with the defeat against Arsenal where many people in the chat were only Manchester City who would win because statistically, Manchester City was far superior to Liverpool, who mostly lost and drew so that their ranking was in the middle of the standings.
But at Anfield they have motivation and solid metal so with this narrow win it is sure the squad can still beat the big teams and indeed football will be full of surprises.

The work will still be carried out by Jurgen Klopp so that the team can move up the standings slowly, although this is still far from being in the top 4 of the Premier League, but I believe Liverpool will be able to redeem the standings even though other teams will not just give up but the team's hard work will make them more confident.

This was the game I looked forward to all through the past week. It was a fiercely contested game and Haaland's wing was clipped off. But a question on my mind about Man City's defeat is that - Was it the ref? Was it because Pep changed formation? Or was it because it was played at Anfield, which according to some football fans, is a difficult ground for other teams to win on?

I don't think so, in fact this defeat can make Pep more serious because he knows that no matter how strong the players and the tactics he has, there are still shortcomings and at this time the shortcomings can be seen from the quick counter-attack and when they control half the field this can still be used by the team. Another thing that makes Pep have to find a way to keep this from becoming weak again.
This match in addition to providing positive things for Liverpool is also a good lesson for Pep.

In the end I was quite surprised that Liverpool won.

Statistically, Liverpool has been doing incredibly well in Anfield. I dont think they have ever lose a single game since last season in Anfield yet ( EPL ) so that pretty much tells that there is a good chance that the game might ended in draw although I was quite surprised to actually think they won this. It was costly though with a red card on Klopp

There is no doubt today Liverpool done amazing job, and they were at the top from start against Manchester City but here we can talk that no one was expecting Liverpool to win this surely not right because I have been feeling many were still believing in Liverpool they have quality players, but sadly there were under some stress which was giving them negative results, but now things are change and surely Liverpool could be in better shape.
 
At the Anfield they have amazing success run against all clubs which is going to help them for fighting back into best even now chances are not good for the title race, but this positive result is going to be good for them and players which were not performing as they need to do in big matches.

Arsenal won today thanks to Bukayo Saka's goal, and they are now four points ahead of Manchester City, which is a significant gap for both Manchester City and Tottenham.

It is too early to predict that Arsenal will win the league because it is only the first quarter of the season, but their performance this season shows that they can compete for the league if they continue to win their matches.

I didn't think Liverpool could win. A lot of things happened in this game that I didn't think about. For example, Haaland failed to score. I thought that he would score goals in such big matches. The fact that there was only 1 goal in the match also caused me to lose in terms of betting. Liverpool won 3 points but it's an important point for a top spot. I didn't think we'd come across a goalless game against City. Still, it was a fun match. This score benefited Arsenal. I feel like all the events this season will benefit Arsenal. Liverpool are in the 8th place with 13 points. I think it will go higher. This win could mark a good comeback.

Liverpool performed brilliantly against Manchester City in this match. Mohamed Salah is one of the players who has good consequences in finishing where Mohamed Salah goal is the decisive victory for Liverpool in this match. and Liverpool victory also feels special because only Liverpool have been able to beat Manchester City so far this season and are also able to break Manchester City winning streak. Pep Guardiola was very disappointed with this result. Moreover, one of the goals from Foden which was annulled by the referee was very regrettable for Pep Guardiola. However, Manchester City must admit that Liverpool is a difficult opponent for them because in this match almost every Liverpool line was able to control well and Liverpool bottom line was quite strong in keeping the movement from Haaland. but unfortunately nunez failed to score again in this match even though he had some good chances. With this victory, Liverpool rose to 8th place in the standings.
