Arsenal is the club that got a blessing in this City defeat because indeed with City's defeat they managed to stay away from pursuit and the difference is now 4 points.

Great and interesting game today, both teams showed strength and physicality through out the game although I think Newcastle played better than united, they created more chances in the game and United were lucky they couldn't find the back of the net because if Newcastle scored a goal even in the early minutes of the game it would have been difficult fir United to come back in the game.

I really appreciated Liverpool about their 1-0 win over Manchester City.

I was one of the people who were expecting a clear win by Manchester City. I was very confident about Haaland to score at least one goal as well. However none of them happened. Haaland got close to doing so but he had a big obstacle like Alisson. Salah was really hard to stop for Manchester City defenders. It was obvious that he was going to score and they couldn't prevent it. This could be the win Liverpool have been searching for in the league. From now on I hope to see their rise.

Everyone can now laugh and critize haaland at this point , choose these times wisely to moch him lol , what i can see from this match it's a huge rivalry between the two and makes both teams plays unusual under pressure , making the one with an awful form become great and vice versa.

Manchester City played well, though today was not a good day and not the best of their performance but they played so well, they showed resilience and created many chances. If not for VAR's intervention the match would have ended up in a 1:1 draw but Foden's goal which was cancelled due to a foul in the build up to the goal. I'm very excited with the result though.

I think the league is still open for everyone

I second that, not open to everyone in the league per se, but to the top teams, this season is looking somewhat hard to predict, i think Arsenal are really strong and they have a really good chance to win the league this season, if you watch how the players celebrate and their manager too, you'd know they believe in themselves that they can actually go all the way, i know Arteta would never accept that they are title contenders even though they are top of the league, he wouldn't agree to that so as not to put pressure on his player, but deep in his heart, he knows Arsenal are ready to fight till the end.

Having said that, there is City, Spurs, Chelsea all close to each other, Liverpool won today and who knows what it could do to their confidence going forward, it is a great show for all of us in that are interested in the EPL, it's such a shame we'll have to come to a halt for around a month or so because of the world cup.

I'm neither a fan of the two teams but you are putting in too much thought about what's going to happen into the future with just one performance. I think City will continue to dominate most teams in the premier League but I cannot say the same with Liverpool. The latter seems to be relying too much on the form of their striker.
