I said it before the match that City back line us not good, anyteam can beat them. It was the same back line that Manchester United netted 3 times in the second half. The good tip to play City is to be mindful of their own post and score. If you are so interested in stopping Haaland, you may not be able to do so.
The call to ban Haaland was all just a joke and there was nothing serious about that. For Haaland not to get a goal against Liverpool doesn't mean he will not score hatrick this weekend.

We have another week of Premier League right now in these three upcoming nights in the midweek.We start with 2 relatively easy games on paper only as we know in reality the Premier League cannot be real without some surprise results that characterize it.

For tonight though if we want to win some little money we should not be wrong if we go with Brighton win against Nottingham Forest since Nottingham is one of the weaker teams of the Premier League and playing away they have only had bad results,so most probably they will have another one tonight.

Erling Haaland has been outstanding this season scoring 15 goals in 9 appearances in the EPL. Although we expect him to score in such a crucial match, but it is not compulsory that a striker must score in all matches to prove himself. For now, he has shown that he has the capacity to help Manchester City win trophies, therefore not scoring against Liverpool is not a big deal.

that's why the big team can reduce him easily if the defensive player was doing so well. Pep was complaining about the goal that is revoked by referee lol. City was actually making mistake for liverpool's  goal keeper.
I think that this team is complaining too much about that. That's why people were always focusing into a player that was showing a good performance until they forget if another big team can defeat it too.

It was very clear that the goal was not supposed to stand. Erling Haaland fouled Fabinho before the goal was scored by Phil Foden. Coach Pep Guardiola should focus on the next match against Brighton and stop claiming that the club was cheated. Virgil van Dijk was able to make Haaland powerless, his performance was extraordinary in that match. Regardless of that loss, Manchester City remains one of the most organized sides this season. This win should serve as a motivation for Liverpool to perform better.  

Yeah, it's foul before foden was making a goal. i don't know why pep was not even realizing it and keep complaining while it can be seen easily from the VAR if foul was happening before the goal. I hope pep will realize it as soon as possible. As a world class coach and that will be a shame for him to keep blaming referee about that. Sometimes I also think like that when the coach rests his best players for fitness reasons in more important matches. I like how Pep rotated in the Champions League and focused some of his players on the Liverpool game, but unfortunately they couldn't help Manchester City win.

Actually Manchester City scored the goal in that game which put Manchester City ahead, but unfortunately Haaland was considered a foul although on replays I think he was balancing his body so he wouldn't fall. The referee said otherwise, it was a foul and no goals. Allison's performance was also very good in that game, he made some great saves and kept the goal clean. I would think Manchester City could have won if Foden's goal hadn't been cancelled.

I may not be popular for saying this because I personally agree with both of you, as someone who played myself, I can only understand the personal motivations. But Pep and Klopp are both team builders, who get the most out of individuals, but who want to fashion a machine that works as a sum.

Hence they are both the ones most likely to sub players on hattricks (Klopps done it to Salah and Firmino often this season already) but they also want to remind them I think that the team must win. He wants them to feel joy when the teams win, and feel equally bad when the teams lose -- not to dwell on bad performances when the team wins, or feel less responsible when the team loses.

We can blame managers for overthinking and tinkering, but their job is to win games and keep winning positions, while of course allowing players to collect accolades if and when the conditions are right.

Trust me. Haaland and Salah etc would love to break records and goals. But they'll take team medals around their necks and they will be the first to admit that.

it's true what you say. and that's really unfortunate. because when Graham Potter was at Brighton, we saw Brighton's performances keep improving. even they can keep their performance consistent in every game that time. And it shows the quality of coach Graham Potter is very influential. because now their performance has clearly decreased after Potter's stay. and Chelsea, which was originally slumped, gradually improved after the presence of Graham Potter as Chelsea coach.
but in this match the chance to win for Brighton is very big. because Nottm Forest is not a tough opponent for Brighton. and maybe this will be the easiest opponent for them. Yes, even though Brighton played against Brentford yesterday I expected Brighton to win or at least draw with both teams to score. But Brighton lost even with a final score of 2-0 which of course, at least it was a defeat that should be more of a concern for them to immediately make improvements to keep their performances good. Also, regarding today's match which will be played against Nottingham of course it is an opportunity for Brighton to get points again. But, basically Brighton's position in the standings is still fine, I'm afraid the management won't make a quick move to get their performance back.

For the first time Haaland has failed to make a contribution in the game, this only shows that he is human after all lol. Klopp indeed is a world class coach and his ability to read games so well baffles me. I must admit the goal Foden scored got be scared and frowning because I was supporting Liverpool, thank God the goal was disallowed and Liverpool got an opportunity to take lead.

I think, Liverpool defenders really planned well for the match never to allow Haaland to achieve any goal from the match, and through out the match Haaland did not achieved any goal. Many small teams has defeated Liverpool or draw match with Liverpool but they never allow such thing to happen to them than to used their new tactics to defeated Manchester city 1-0 for the favour of Liverpool. If Liverpool can maintain this tactics they used to achieved victory from mighty Manchester city to play other matches, I think it will really help them to improve higher before the end of this tournament.

I think Liverpool isn't really happy with their past performances, it was all written on Klopp's face with the little drama that led him to get a red card during their match against Manchester City but people weren't saying anything about the quack Job ref did that day, it was poor in my opinion. However,  I have noticed the consistency of win or draw anytime Liverpool has a match in Anfield, they don't allow defeats in most of their matches.

1 draw and 1 loss and 3 Win from the last 5 matches is average and not a bad one I must confess, if Liverpool can have 3 win matches that can aggregate 9 points, they can easily make it to the top 4 under ideal conditions but would that be possible, West Ham, Nottingham and Leeds United shouldn't be that tough to conquer.

Arsenal has displayed poor performance yesterday that Leeds was playing better than them but they were lucky because Leeds players has wasted several times the opportunity to scoring goals one of them is when Patrick Bamford has failed to get penalty kick and maybe it will be different if Leeds can equalized the scores from it and i think Arteta should be evaluated the results of this match and no more mistakes for upcoming match because Arsenal next opponent is Manchester City who aiming 3 points after disappointed by Liverpool but Arsenal will play without Gabriel who got suspension

Leeds is not an easy side to just go over to their home and beat them easily, they are a tough side especially playing at home gives them a major boost in the game. We did what we could do probably not the best effort but it was good enough. We dominated the game in the first half and were pushed back in the second half thank God the team showed resilience and secured the 1 goal lead until full time.

Liverpool are indeed a strong and seeded team even before the season started. but the real problem of liverpool is that they can't be consistent in maintaining their best form. so indeed in every Liverpool match it is sometimes difficult to predict. and for now Manchester city is more consistent in maintaining their performance. But in these few games Liverpool have shown improvement in maintaining their performance. and it started with defeating the Rangers. and continued by defeating Man city. but I am a little doubtful whether Liverpool will continue to show consistency in maintaining their best performance in the next matches. but I hope Liverpool can continue to be consistent from now on. because it will add to the excitement in the premier league. and if you look at the standings, now many changes have started. and make every match in the premier league always full of surprises.

Pep Guardiola has very important considerations for Erling Haaland and maybe it has been read by Pep Guardiola that the enemy locks Erling Haaland movement so it is not easy to get the ball well so Pep Guardiola did that to Erling Haaland, but I'm sure Pep Guardiola will think about it Another strategy is for Erling Haaland to score many more goals, because the key to Manchester City' victory is only in Erling Haaland.

football is a problem with luck this week, like liverpool against city also turned out to be a match won by liverpool, it looks like this week will also happen like that early Sunday in the Brighton match it is possible to win by Brighton because he has a leandro player who can sometimes mess up the opponent's defense like against liverpool

Referee's decision to disallow goal from Manchester City was quite right, in the replay it was clear that Haaland had pulled out before giving an assist for Foden's goal. Just unlucky with Manchester City last match how get first loss from Liverpool with Allison performance quite well, one direct assist for goals scored by Moh Salah and lately from João Cancelo set an offside trap easy how goals process from Liverpool scored. This is a fact because Potter is still one of the most influential coaches at Brighton, even being able to make it difficult for the last 2 seasons, but after moving to Chelsea at this time Brighton seems to have lost his touch.

I say Liverpool's inconsistency was because Klopp set up a lineup very hard to achieve and left little error margin for the players. And talk about Liverpool's players, most ain't good either. They got lucky against Manchester City but really, I don't think they can go far with Klopp leading Liverpool like that. Some might think maybe this lineup and strats have a potential cause they won against Manchester City but like I said, just simply luck, a fluke. Better replace Klopp with a new coach cause they'll go nowhere.

Brighton had better chances in that match to win. I don't think Nottingham Fores will thwart Brighton's party today even though Brighton's performance has not been too good in the last 5 matches. Considering Nottingham are bottom of the table with only 5 points from 10 match, then I think they will drop points again in this match.

I don't think Brighton are the favourites, but considering Nottingham's form wasn't great then maybe Brighton's chances of winning are bigger. I wouldn't be surprised if Brighton lose or drop points, it's because of their unstable form over the years.
