The biggest surprise for me today was the Brentford vs Spurs game... It was probably the only game where I had no doubts that the favourites would win, but Spurs miraculously managed to equalise...

what an unexpected result that Tottenham managed to equalize 2-2 in minutes 65 & 71 (through goals made by harry kane & emile). With this result, Tottenham failed to shift Newcastle in 2nd place and had to be willing to be in 4th place. the competition in the big 4 is very tight.

Football currently has gone beyond putting all focus on favourite team only cause you think them favourite. Spurs today were just lucky as ever as I wasn't shocked seeing spur looking for a draw in the hands of Brentford a team that has in previous games shown that it has come to the EPL ranks to stay. This days we favour a team due to its past glory forgetting that football has really changed tone and underdog teams ain't happy being underdogs they also want to outshine and make name.

As for Newcastle I love their sturdy form it shows the WC break didn't negatively affect their form as it were and am sure if they don't make it to UCL the will definitely cling a place in the Europa league slot.

Even though in this match they were very favorite but actually almost lost with 2 goals scored by Brentford for Kane and Hojbjerg to make the score a draw.
I don't really like the formation that Conte put in this game. 3-4-3 is good enough but it will be more effective if Kane alone is the backbone plus Son and Kulusevski are behind as second strikers.

Crystal Palace FC VS Fulham FC GOAL 0 - 3 - LOST

This one I was really wrong with my decision, Fulham is dominating the game but I think that Crystal Palace is having a hard time because of the 2 players that have gotten their red cards and that was Tyrick Mitchell and James Tomkins,

Two red cards had a huge impact on the game, but Mitrovic played a great game today. He became the star of Fulham by scoring 2 assists and 1 goal. Andreas Pereira also played very effectively today, but he was really bad in the final shots. If he had been a little luckier today, Fulham could have won by a clearer score. I think it was a good and exciting match because I enjoyed watching this match.

Liverpool didn't have much difficulty today and finished the game in the first half, but their defense was difficult due to the high balls coming from the opponent. Not only Alan Shearer, but absolutely every Newcastle fan would be buzzing right now, the crazy thing is that they are putting up all these excellent and impeccable performances when they are yet to pump in the money they now have into the team, we can now imagine what would happen by next summer when Newcastle starts to make formal bids for brilliant footballers, it is safe to think that in a couple of years they could be way above the level they are now in the EPL. If they can get into the top four this season and secure CL football, it then makes it a whole lot easier for them to allure world class players.

Having said that, i have been saying it for a couple of while now that i don't think Newcastle can finish in the top four and qualify for the CL next season, but they are proving me wrong with every win they get in the bag, they are up to second now, and even though i think the top four would definitely be made up of four teams from the big six, Newcastle look like they are fired up to change that status quo, i wouldn't count them out for now, but i would still stand by my earlier statement till i have a reason to bend on it.
