I understand that there is a good chance that we could end up with Liverpool playing better, after all they have a chance to be as high as 6th when all teams have equal games, and won the last 2 games, and beat Newcastle which could be 4th with a single win, and all of these are looking better for Liverpool, that's for sure. And Nunez finally looks like a striker after over half a season is passed, which is also another good thing.

But, Liverpool had a terrible season and there is a chance they may never recover from this as well, not saying they won't, they may recover and be in top 5, or at least 6th, but there is also a chance that may never happen this year.

I think it will be very difficult for Liverpool to get into the top 5 of the standings this year... The last game against Newcastle doesn't tell us anything yet... The only top club playing unstable and likely to drop out of the top 5 is Spurs... But it's not certain that Liverpool can take their place, as they need to win regularly to do so...

Newcastle for what reason to be the best club in premier league? Any club in the first 4 on the table are good as they have played 23/24 matches. Manchester United is also good, not only Arsenal and Manchester City. Manchester City with 52 points while Manchester United with 49 points, that is very close gap. Manchester United is a threat that can still climb the table further if care is not taking by Manchester City or even Arsenal.

Marcus Rashford has greatly improved in appearance since the World Cup but Haaland leads as top scorer with a very large number so far Haaland has scored 26 goals while Rashford has 14, if want to be top scorer Rashford must always score goals in the rest of the matches but not sure he can catch Haaland or even Harry Kane, this season it will be Haaland's and next season Rashford has a chance if he keeps doing well and is a sharp striker.

Rashford has benefited from Ronaldo coming into the club, motivated the player, showing them that they can score high number of goals in the club as he did in his first year of return before departing. Ronaldo departure then made Rashford the focus as everybody now plays for him. Rashford was always a good player still didn't understand why he declined that much but he's back now.

The same Rashford I just saw some media pushing about his transfer to potential PSG and Real Madrid bidders! To be honest, I think he had a good year and goals but last season was terrible due to Ronaldo's presence which isn't even bad at all as they didn't use him like that since Manchester United is left with no choice, he is putting in his best to represents the team and I think that was the best decision made by Erik despite confrontations that he was not using Ronaldo in matches.

I don't think the target is to excess Haaland as that's an impossible tasks. Haaland has the whole team working for him with assist and they're all top players in the prime years while Manchester united just has an average team. Manchester city was already doing well before the arrival of Haaland so it's just like he just landed on a gold mine while Rashford has to work together with the team so it'll be hard to be scoring the number of goals Haaland is scoring.

attempting to kick out Haaland is nearly impossible but if he is able to do that, that will not only make him a golden boy, it will move Manchester to first place in the table and they can easily take home the season trophy or either way, they are lucky to face the team that are in between 6th and 18th place, if it favours them, Rashford can achive more goals provided that Manchester doesnt pick up in their perfomance.

The EPL is the best league in the world, and the competition is very tight.

It is interesting to see how Manchester United is constantly improving. It's always nice to see a team sorting their problems out and starting to catch up with the top.

There are 16 matches left for Liverpool and statistically each match must at least get 2 to 3 full points and even then with a landslide victory. So we need to look at this based on the fact that Liverpool might only be in the top 5 provided they can improve from today. As for seeing their schedule in both the Premier League and the Champions League, of course the path taken is not smooth. There will definitely be potential for injured players, so with many possibilities, Liverpool will experience a season that is not too ideal this time both in the Premier League and Champions League.

All clubs still have a chance to win the premier league this season, but seeing Arsenal and MC's consistency is really a tough competition at the top, Spurs or Newcastle are fighting for Champions League tickets, because Newcastle has a chance to qualify for the Champions League from the last five matches. they have only lost once, in contrast to Spurs losing 2 of their last five matches, and Newcastle are only 1 point away from Spurs, at least this is Newcastle's focus on getting into the Champions League zone this year.

Talking about Fulham it looks like they will maintain the Europa League Zone this season, if they target getting into the Champions League Zone then they still have a chance because the points difference is not so far from Spurs and Newcastle.

Why do people have so? much confidence in arsenal now when they recovered their position out of luck because of the inability of Manchester city to seal their occupation of the first spot position losing their last match was a big fall for MManchester city.

In this case I see Arsenal more fortunate they only lost the standings for a few days before taking over, but of course Arsenal cannot continue to depend on luck

Arsena l has never depended in luck, arsenal have done very well in this season.  In the last game they played against aston villa you can see the result of that game was achieved through hard work and not by luck.  It is not possible for a team to acquire this number of points and be in the first position for a long time and call it luck.

it's normal to say luck guides all we do in life, but in a case like this hard work comes in first before luck.
Arsenal has invested both financially, physically, mentally and otherwise, in other to make their way to third current position. Luck doesn't come in football when u are lazy.
Arsenal is a strong team led by a strong manager who is willing to learn from every angle. I'm not an arsenal fan but I can boldly say that Arsenal merit it position in the epl standing.
