The reason why Manchester city allowed Brentford to defeated them 1-0 in this match, is because they want to reserve themselves for UEFA champions league final so that they will not miss the two titles in this season. Despite the defeat Manchester city experienced from Brentford, they still maintain the highest points in the premier league competition table that made them to continue celebrating for the title in an advance.

I will have commend Thomas Frank Brentford manager for a well done job for defeating Man City both home and away this season though it's a pity Brentford didn't qualify for any European competition it has been a good season for the club, Man City preserving their players against Man City is never an issue because the team has quality players and depth in term of reserve players and their next match is on June 3rd against Man Utd FA Cup I think Guordiola underrated Brentford thinking that his second team is enough to defeat Brentford above all congratulations to Man City for winning the league on three consecutive times and looking forward to their remaining upcoming two finals FA Cup and UCL Cup.

If it's Newcastle, I give them a pass mark this season, I don't know how others would assess this, but that's my conclusion. The amount of money the new Chelsea owner invested in the club and yet they have a miserable season has shown that to be successful in football, especially in England is not all about money.
In the case of Manchester City, assuming they have the coach that is not competent enough, he cannot do what Guardiola is doing with the boys in Manchester City. Chelsea management believes that changing the coach will solve their problems. But a change of coach is unlikely to improve Chelsea's performance. I don't know why Chelsea management sacked Graham Potter. Potter was an excellent coach. Out of 100 matches, he lost only 16 matches. Graham Potter then lost 11 out of 31 matches. And last coach Lampard won only 1 out of 9 matches. And so changing coaches is unlikely to improve Chelsea's performance. The understanding between their players is not good. Chelsea management should bring changes within the squad.
