In the last few matches, I have seen Guardiola change his matchup strategy. Manchester City played in FA Cup matches against Real Madrid and Manchester United. In all three matches, Guardiola did not build his match strategy around Haaland. The main goal of the opposition in these matches was to stop Haaland. And so Guardiola has changed his match strategy. And excellent performances from Gundogan, Bruyne and Bernardo Silva saw City win. And so if Inter Milan only want to resist Haaland, they won't win against City.

The worst thing a coach could do is to circle his winning strategy on a particular player. Every coach understands that and that's what Pep Guardiola avoids doing by having Haaland as his only winning strategy against any club Manchester City is playing with.
The football strategy of Pep Guardiola placing Haaland in front of every match has been paving the way for him to win matches. Like if any club tends to hold Haaland from scoring, other of his team players would have it as an advantage to scoring goals confidently.

This season is full of surprises and nobody saw it coming because if someone would say Arsenal will battle to be Champions but finished second it would be like a joke but see where we are now. Some other teams did very well, the likes of Newcastle Brighton e.t.c, but Arsenal is a team that always struggle not to win the league but to seat at that number 4 position on the log, I can't really praise the Gunners the way I praise Newcastle but they tried.

Arsenal at the end really disappointed a lot of people that had hopes in them especially their fans. We would have ever knew Arsenal won’t win the league, when at a time, they where 10 points clear from the second position (Manchester City), but just look the way they gave the league up to Manchester City at the final minutes. It wasn’t nice about them but they tried too.

With the fast approach of next season I don't expect less from them [Arsenal] because is like they're still angry and hunger for winning, they're going to unleash their energy to win all games on any team they meet during the INTERNATIONAL CLUB FRIENDLIES.
I just pray they extend their squad depth so that when it comes to injury crisis they'd have replacement and continue their good form.

Extending their squad depth will be a very great idea to do by next season. Many analysts blame their failure on not winning the premier league to their lack of squad depth when their primary players had injury. I would say they were just not lucky after the tough long season. I hope they try better next season and compete for titles.

The biggest disappointment of this season was Chelsea. How can a club like Chelsea fall so far? Almost half a billion or maybe more has been spent on attracting new players. And not even made it to European football. I think there is only one problem with this selection and that is the capacity of the trainer, they have not appointed them properly. If you put a good trainer on this, you can just make a very good team out of it and they should be able to easily finish in the top 5 of the competition. Quite a job, but the toughest job at the moment is to find a good manager who is willing to lead Chelsea to new glory.

What's interesting in the battle for position now is no longer Arsenal and Manchester City, but Liverpool and Manchester United because Newcastle managed to beat Brighton yesterday in round 25.

Mathematically, Newcastle have not passed the UCL because they still meet Leicester City, who are struggling to avoid relegation, and Chelsea, who could qualify for Man United or Liverpool.

Indeed, what you say is true, but on the other hand, looking at their current opponents, I think with Leicester and Chelsea it's not a big problem for them. Well here the opportunity that Newcastle has is something unique , they cannot miss out, not only with this game but with everything they have left , the opportunity to get into one of the positions they have to be able to play a better role is something that is rarely it happens, as far as I'm concerned, this type of team deserves an opportunity and for them they want to win, for this reason I think that things will Happen here as long as they want it and play with all their desire, otherwise they won't I think they can do a lot , of course this is what I think According to a lot of what can be Done.

It's quite unique because you did discuss the conditions where this was already a few weeks ago but I like that because indeed the discussion now is still the same and my speculation about Newcastle is now a reality.
As I said before a few weeks ago even if they get a draw in this game it will not make anything because their position remains comfortable in the Champions League.
These 2 draws have brought them to position 3 which Liverpool have not caught up with, especially in the last 2 matches Liverpool have really messed up.
Now they are trying a new page in the Premiere League because Newcastle are currently in 4th position and they are preparing for the Champions League next season.

Arsenal often did a worse performance in 2nd half of the season. It didn't only happen this season, they also did it in the previous seasons. I think Arsenal must consider strengthening the squad with more experienced players, they don't focus on young players only. Besides the tactics, the players' mentality brings a big impact on the match. Experienced players have a better mentality than young players, it is what Arsenal lost this season on their squad. They have too small squad and have too few experienced players.

Yep. Arteta has done a great job although he failed to win the EPL title. He deserves to manage Arsenal a longer time, he can win a title in the future if he has a better squad. His main target should be winning the title, not only participating in UCL.

Since Arsenal lost the English Premier League title to Manchester City, I've always been of the opinion that Arsenal should be excused from the harsh blames from their bittered fans and some media outlets.
Manchester City owners invested huge in the club and today they're actually reaping the fruit of their investment because they've got a club that can peacefully thrash any other European club with ease. That is what Arsenal owners needs to do to make Arsenal a major contender for the title come next season

Of course everyone judged midway through this season that Arsenal would be champions but the fact is Arsenal have failed again which is quite painful this season. Arsenal have been top of the table for a long time in this season but at the end of the season they can be knocked out by manchester city, I remember when arteta said that the remaining games at the end of the season would be the final for them at that time but they failed to do so after they lost  and a loss that allowed Manchester city to shift their ranking and secure the EPL trophy this season.

I think that next season the competition for the title will be more difficult for Arsenal because the other teams will be stronger and will make next season's competition even more interesting. Apart from that, Liverpool, who also failed to close the season in 4th place this season, of course, have suffered a significant setback this season. If they go another round like this and Todd Boehly was hoping for Chelsea to turn into a good investment, it would be the worst start he could have imagined. It already is now but the pressure is mounting if they want to promote the Chelsea brand globally. They have to qualify for the Champions League or otherwise the desired recognition would be so much lower. The threat is also huge now that a lot of players want to leave and they can't replace because them because everybody wants to play the Champions League. If it is true that Real Madrid is interested in Kai Havertz, why would he even want to stay in Chelsea if he can play on the highest level with Madrid?

One of the most stubborn coach Manchester City has had is Pep, I didn't get expect to see De Bruyne and Haaland in that final because eof fear of injuries but he let them play complete 90 minutes with confidence not until 70+ before he later make substitution for De Bruyne, and I believe the same players will be going for the Champions League, there ball strategy and winnings need to be study because what we are used to see Championship is winning a domestic league and other big leagues but Manchester City seems to have bagged known difficult leagues that we know.

I don't want Haaland to be the next Ballon D'or guy but I hope it wouldn't be tagged as "cheat" when Manchester City win the Champions League and they give it to Messi for winning just the World Cup and France domestic league, they should let the new Champions competite instead of the old guys we are use to every season.

You forgot yet another name, R. Mahrez. He became such a dangerous player at a time, making accurate crosses that turned into an assist and even getting to score needed goals like his hat-trick against Sheffield United in the FA cup semi finals. The game was all R. Mahrez and Pep just knows how to rotate and use these players to his advantage.

The current holder of the title isn't one of fhe old guys, is it. K. Benzema was more than deserving for what he did with Real Madrid. I think in this round, they would do the next best thing in giving it to E. Haaland. His goals served such purpose in propelling Manchester City through the leagues.

With his achievements this season, which is like a robot, because he scored a lot of goals, including the top scorer in the EPL and Champions League, I don't think there is any reason to say this is cheating, but in this case there will still be lots of other judgments, including the world cup too. will definitely count now.
But if in the end he does become the nominee and win he's actually pretty decent in this case too.

They are the perfect team in the world and the managers of other teams say the same and they mean it. Often times they claim to be the underdog for tactical reasons, but these days when they say that Manchester City is beyond doubt the best team in the world, they do mean what they say. It's sometimes funny how Guardiola is trying to portray his team as being far from perfect, but I noticed that now he more often points out that they are indeed very close to perfect. It is part of his job to keep them grounded, but when everyone sees how they play and Guardiola tries to play it down, it's interesting.

Although it is not impossible that in his opinion they are far from perfect sometimes. I can't even imagine what a trauma it would be for him if he loses this final. He has been trying for so long now and frankly speaking, his teams are the best most of the time.

I do not think that it will be that simple, it's obvious that we are going to see them do as well as they hope for and that's going to be the case for a very long time. I believe that we shouldn't really be worried about anything but City for any cup, if you are a team that wants to win something, you will have to go through City first, they are the top team. Look at Arsenal this season, they have done so well for so long and at the very end they lost it, that's a sad situation for them but there was nothing they could do about it.

I hope that they do better in the end, but I believe that it will be a very difficult situation for Arsenal or United or LFC or basically any team to win. The only option I can see is Newcastle and not this one, the owner is super rich which means maybe in the future they can get superstars that can rival.

Expect Newcastle to do well next season. Because this season the team started to perform well but since Manchester City team secured the title. As such next season looks promising for Newcastle.

Newcastle's manager Eddie Howe has effectively transformed to a team that will be strong enough to compete with any premier league club but with some additional signings in the summer, Newcastle might as well become a very strong club that can be very competitive in Europe.

Arsenal was on the verge of winning the English Premier League, but things changed along the way, as they failed to maintain their consistency in league games and dropped points. It wasn't a positive sign from the club to their supporters; one minute they were certain of being proclaimed winners, the next minute their mood shifted with sad expressions on the faces of the players and supporters. Mikel Arteta has unfinished business, which he will most likely address. Important goals to achieve next season, and Mikel Arteta pushing the Gunners to this level excites the fans at Emirates Stadium. It has been a long period of fantastic performance and high competitive mentality from the club and fans.

Arsenal were impressive but I feel they did not do enough. When I mean "they", I mean the whole club. The management of the team should have brought in more reinforcement during the winter transfer window. At that point, it was clear that Arsenal were title contenders a d they needed a big squad to help them out.
I feel the Arsenal team gave up at a point. A couple of injuries and the seal to win the title just disappeared. Another mistake they made for forgoing every other competition to focus on the league. I don't like when teams do that, especially teams that claim to be big team. Go for every available trophy and only stop pursuing it when it was pointless to do so.

Arsenal need a to go into the market and get all the players they need because next season is going to be more competitive, plus the fact that they will be playing in the champions league next season. They need to spend a little more money and give Arteta what he needs and wants so they will be able to fight for the league again.

Newcastle united is a phenomenal team this season because they were able to show their best quality and being able to close the season in 4th place is something extraordinary which they have been working for from the start of the season.  Instead of that, I think they will also have to improve in this season's transfer window because they need players of the best quality to strengthen the team to be tougher for next season. Manchester united in the end they achieved their target of closing the season in the top 4 and qualifying for the Champions league.

Erik ten hag did a great job in his first season of the season, however there was a lot of drama that happened at Manchester United this season where they had to part ways with Ronaldo in the winter window which was quite a surprise to many. I think Manchester United next season will be sufficiently reckoned with as a team that will disrupt Manchester City in maintaining the EPL trophy.
