Yes the Champions League is their main focus in the pursuit of titles, they have won the Premier League and the FA Cup, now they have to get the title they have always wanted.

They did use their best squad for the FA Cup final match with Manchester United. It is a bit risky for them but eventually they won the final and got a full squad without any injury case. They went through the final match with a perfect ending, win it and don't have any loss on their main squad.

Pep Guardiola has prepared for that and is preparing for the best in this season's Champions League final. They are also certain to lose their full strength in this match. To be honest, I can't wait to see the Champions League final this season, because there will certainly be extraordinary excitement if Manchester City manages to become champions.

I want to personally believe that is simply the result of proper preparation and planning before taking action, before letting those players go, the coach probably have had a much better players to replace them, which is why he could comfortably let them go, and from all that Manchester city have achieved in this season, it's obvious to every one the the players who left the club didn't do the club bad but good.

I think Guadiola proved himself to be a really good coach through that act, we all calculated decision that didn't negatively affect his team in any way, other coaches should emulate and learn from him.

Yeah i totally agree most of the players were average and most of them were not famous and well known but they managed to get the fourth position in one of the touhgest and most competitive leagues in the world this shows the huge amount of dedication and hard work these players showed but i think they don't need to make a lot of changes next season the best way is to slowly reinforce their squad i think they will be better next season if everything go smoothly.

I don't see Manchester City under too much pressure this season, because apart from the two trophies they have won this season, Manchester City still has enough energy and strength to get their first UCL trophy this season. Undoubtedly, Newcastle United did something extraordinary this season, they could compete with other big teams in the Premier League, and in the end they managed to be in the top 4 at the end of the competition. Their squad is indeed an average squad in general, but the games they have created are very solid which has made them managed to become one of the best teams this season. Of course their presence in the Champions League must be accompanied by strengthening their squad so they can compete.

Often times they claim to be the underdog for tactical reasons, but these days when they say that Manchester City is beyond doubt the best team in the world, they do mean what they say. I believe that we shouldn't really be worried about anything but City for any cup, if you are a team that wants to win something, you will have to go through City first, they are the top team. Look at Arsenal this season, they have done so well for so long and at the very end they lost it, that's a sad situation for them but there was nothing they could do about it.

I hope that they do better in the end, but I believe that it will be a very difficult situation for Arsenal or United or LFC or basically any team to win. The only option I can see is Newcastle and not this one, the owner is super rich which means maybe in the future they can get superstars that can rival.

When the competition and pressure that will be obtained and faced is greater, then of course Newcastle will have to make some changes because competition in the Champions League is not easy. If you remember that, even though this season Newcastle managed to finish in the top four, but in several matches Newcastle also experienced a decline in performance.
