When Arsenal were at the top of the standings for a while I also had a chance to feel maybe this season would belong to Arsenal after decades they had not been able to win the title again, but unfortunately their achievements had to stop towards the end of the season because they often got less than optimal results.

However, it should be appreciated for Arsenal's performance this season, moreover Mikel Arteta has been able to make this team start to be respected again for the EPL next season. Indeed it looks like Arsenal will only be content for one Champions League ticket next season and I can't wait for their miraculous performance.

Arsenal were impressive but I feel they did not do enough. When I mean "they", I mean the whole club. The management of the team should have brought in more reinforcement during the winter transfer window. At that point, it was clear that Arsenal were title contenders a d they needed a big squad to help them out.
I feel the Arsenal team gave up at a point. A couple of injuries and the seal to win the title just disappeared. Another mistake they made for forgoing every other competition to focus on the league. I don't like when teams do that, especially teams that claim to be big team. Go for every available trophy and only stop pursuing it when it was pointless to do so.

Arsenal need a to go into the market and get all the players they need because next season is going to be more competitive, plus the fact that they will be playing in the champions league next season. They need to spend a little more money and give Arteta what he needs and wants so they will be able to fight for the league again.

The winter transfer window barely brings what the clubs are actually needing and wanting. Chelsea bought big time during the winter and everyone knows how that ended. They have spent 209 million Euro and set the record for the highest sum paid on transfers during a winter period ever. Sometimes minor improvements can be possible or when they need to fill a gap it can also work, but usually you can't bring on quality that makes the squad even stronger. I won't say this can never work, but it is not a proper standard plan to build the squad and Chelsea has proven that once and for all. Arsenal didn't think themselves that they would be competing for the top for so long I guess.

The biggest disappointment of this season was Chelsea. How can a club like Chelsea fall so far? Almost half a billion or maybe more has been spent on attracting new players. And not even made it to European football. I think there is only one problem with this selection and that is the capacity of the trainer, they have not appointed them properly. If you put a good trainer on this, you can just make a very good team out of it and they should be able to easily finish in the top 5 of the competition. Quite a job, but the toughest job at the moment is to find a good manager who is willing to lead Chelsea to new glory.

The fact about Chelsea is they spent so much money and had one of the most expensive players and coaches in the premier league but they didn't invest the money in the right place and the performance of Chelsea when they had was really disappointing even from the start of the season.

One of the most stubborn coach Manchester City has had is Pep, I didn't get expect to see De Bruyne and Haaland in that final because eof fear of injuries but he let them play complete 90 minutes with confidence not until 70+ before he later make substitution for De Bruyne, and I believe the same players will be going for the Champions League, there ball strategy and winnings need to be study because what we are used to see Championship is winning a domestic league and other big leagues but Manchester City seems to have bagged known difficult leagues that we know.

I don't want Haaland to be the next Ballon D'or guy but I hope it wouldn't be tagged as "cheat" when Manchester City win the Champions League and they give it to Messi for winning just the World Cup and France domestic league, they should let the new Champions competite instead of the old guys we are use to every season.

I think Pep Guardiola is not stubborn because he knows how difficult it is to win the treble winner so he has to field all of his core players against Manchester United. Well, everything went according to what he planned, where Pep Guardiola managed to bring Manchester City to win the FA Cup trophy and one more step, they will strengthen themselves to win the treble winner if they beat Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Indeed, in the category of winning the Ballon D'or, I don't really understand how voting is done to determine who deserves to get it this season. But I agree with you that if Haaland wins it, of course there is no cheating that will be debated because he really falls into all categories that require him to get the Ballon D'or. Hopefully Haaland can get the ucl trophy and that will strengthen him as a player who will get the Ballon D'or this season.

I'm of the opinion that Newcastle's great form and performance isn't gonna be a one season show and I believe they're gonna prove me right come next season.
Newcastle's manager Eddie Howe has effectively transformed to a team that will be strong enough to compete with any premier league club but with some additional signings in the summer, Newcastle might as well become a very strong club that can be very competitive in Europe.

Newcastle united is a phenomenal team this season because they were able to show their best quality and being able to close the season in 4th place is something extraordinary which they have been working for from the start of the season.  Instead of that, I think they will also have to improve in this season's transfer window because they need players of the best quality to strengthen the team to be tougher for next season. Manchester united in the end they achieved their target of closing the season in the top 4 and qualifying for the Champions league.

Erik ten hag did a great job in his first season of the season, however there was a lot of drama that happened at Manchester United this season where they had to part ways with Ronaldo in the winter window which was quite a surprise to many. I think Manchester United next season will be sufficiently reckoned with as a team that will disrupt Manchester City in maintaining the EPL trophy.

Yes Newcastle can not use the same Premier league standard for the Champions league elsewhere they will be back soonest

And I think for the coming season Liverpool should be able to show their strength more consistently than at the start of the season. Because they must have learned from the season that just ended. That they have to play the maximum game throughout the season or they will fail again in the race for the Premier League title.

The board is a shambles, allowing Sadio Mané go just because he requested a wage hike, and now look at the club's current condition. I'm not suggesting their issue is Mané's absence from Anfield, but they do require a viable substitute for him. Liverpool deserves every humiliation they're currently facing, not making the top four and going home without a single trophy this season, possibly the reds' worst form, but they'll bounce back, they usually do. Jurgen Klopp did his best as manager to secure decent points on the league table, but it was insufficient; you don't expect an elite competitive club like Liverpool to start settling for less. Qualification for the europa league was  probably not an achievement, they deserved more. Next season, let's see how things will turn around for the club.

I agree with you mate, I think their coach has a lot of work to do so that those mistakes they made in this season will not repeat itself again next season because Liverpool president is not happy with the position Liverpool took in this premier league competition. I think, Liverpool coach will get a talented striker that will assist Muhammad Salah next season so that they can improve their performance to make their fans happy again because their fans want to see massive improvement from them like Manchester city. Since Liverpool defensive is still solid, I believe it will really help them to get it right next season in a way they will have consistency performance through out the season.

Since the 2016-2017 season, Liverpool has always ensured they play in the Champions League but the 2022-2023 season was a pretty bad season for Liverpool because they only finished 5th and would only play in the Europa League, indeed not an impressive achievement for a team like Liverpool but at least that's better than having to see them play in the conference league or not play at all in European competition next season.
It's quite strange to see a decline in Liverpool's performance because their squad is not much different from previous seasons, only Sadio Mane is one of the key players who is no longer with Liverpool this season but don't think that because of Mane's departure, there is a big gap in their performances.
Liverpool faced 4 times more defeats than last season where this season was with 9 defeats and last season only 2 even that was the least defeat among the other teams in that season, so Liverpool's problem is in their defense which conceded 47 goals while last season only 26 only. Hopefully Klopp has found where their weaknesses are this season so that next season they can perform better again to become a fierce champion challenger for the defending champions along with Arsenal, Newcastle, Manchester United and maybe Chelsea will also return to form and become a title challenger next season.

I missed out yesterday when i failed to bet on Manchester city and Manchester united FA game and even though i havrd that conviction that the match was going to end in Manchester city favor but the fear of losing the 90 minutes olaying time made me not place the bet, but I missed out.

Their was no doubt from me that Manchester City will lose the match. Manchester City hardly lose game like this that will make them champion. I predicted a win for them because I knew it won't be easy for Manchester United to defeat Manchester City in FA Cup final.  Manchester City are too good to lose.

Its admirable how much attention their promoted teams have received. I think These clubs will experience a considerable increase in revenue as a result of joining the EPL

I think the Premier League will be even more exciting next season and it is likely that the title race will become even tougher. Arsenal and Newcastle, who have performed quite well this season, will definitely make more thorough preparations. The clubs I fear for in the next season is Liverpool because I am not sure what the club's faith will be in the coming season, and if they continue with the current trend then there is the possibility that Liverpool may slide down into the relegation zone where it becomes hard for them to break out from for a long time.

Salah and Mane were like two friends who understood each other very well. Salah knew very well where Mane would be on the field and was throwing it towards him. After he left, there was a great weakening in the offensive line and it was felt. Perhaps the worst move Liverpool ever made was to sell him and buy Nunez. They have to make the transfers more carefully for next year. Now there is one more big team in the Premier League and that is Newcastle. If you are chasing the top ranks in the league where the competition is at such a high level, you have to make the best moves.

Newcastle's main strengths this season have been their excellent match tactics and strong defense. Newcastle's defense has been very strong this season. They conceded only 33 goals in 38 matches. While the defense was strong, the performance of the attacking players was somewhat erratic. And so this team has lost points in several matches. And so if you want to maintain the consistency of performance in the next season, Newcastle must take an experienced striker in the team. Without an experienced striker, they will not be able to maintain the stability of the performance in the coming season.

Now they are also qualified for the Champions League, making them an even more attractive club for new players. If they can slightly improve their offensive personnel and get more high quality depth into their squad, I don't see any specific reason why they shouldn't be able to compete for the top 3 or top 4 again next season. They have had some spectacular games where they showed their very best and destroyed clubs like Tottenham. Usually that doesn't happen as a one hit wonder. With the money they have I think there is a lot to come from them in the coming season. First of of all it will be interesting to see how they are going to do in the Champions League.

I am not sure if Liverpool sold Mane because they felt they will buy Nunez to replace him. If it was what happened, it is a dump move by Liverpool and a let down to Mane. Just because Nunez scored good number of goals in an unpopular league doesn't mean that he is fit to replace Mane who has a very large work rate in Liverpool.
Actually, Liverpool's selling of Mane is a big mistake they made and I am sure they regretted it at one point or the other even if they are not going to admit it.
