Remember Chelsea when they won the Champions League final against Man City, but the following seasons ended in the middle of the standings due to changes in management... Ten Hag was giving him a chances by attempts to played Maguire several times but he was unable to impress Ten Hag and performing well and even Maguire was often to did some mistakes which make Manchester United were suffering to lose so i think Ten Hag has just made good decision with not to make him as a captain anymore and it's normal if the manager eventually placing him into the bench because Ten Hag will be more prefer to used the players which have good conditions instead of Maguire
