Before each season, what happens in summer transfer, player in and out, pre-season training and physical fitness care from medical staffs for players will be very important for a new season. Because it will help a club have enough quality players for a long season, new players have enough time to adapt to a new coach and team mates or don't have enough time from pre-season training. It can reduce injuries of players or cause many injuries in a long season like Liverpool experienced in the last season. No club will want to have bad preparation which results in massive unwanted injuries of their key players.

Pre-season preparation and friendly matches won't be enough to conclude what team will lift the trophy when a new season ends but it is important to have overview on strength and readiness for that coming season.

Taking a look at the Manchester United’s team, they actually need a good and world class striker in order to have a good season; as you said, Antony Martial is not dependable and other, but since they have enough wingers in the team, they may be switching positions in order to get good results and we all know that Rashford is a good player and he performs extremely well last season.

It seems that I will no longer underestimate Mauricio Pochettino. last night's game was absolutely amazing. Chelsea under the management of Mauricio Pochettino is completely different.
