Liverpool had a really bad season in general but they managed to collect themselves after a point. It wasn't enough to make it to top 4 maybe but it was still a solid progress. At least they didn't finish the league with big doubts like Tottenham and Chelsea. I will be expecting Liverpool to put even more effort into their game by this season.

There have been really good additions to the midfield like Mac Allister and Szoboszlai. Klopp has signaled that he will continue to make more transfers as well. Technically he needs to do that because Henderson and Fabinho are both leaving the team. There will be a need to make more transfers to the midfield.

Did you know that Liverpool's performance will be impacted by Henderson and Fabinho's absence? I believe the answer is yes because this player is one of the best on the team. Without good players, the team's performance will be very poor, even though I am unable to judge the team's performance given that Sadio Mane's departure caused them to finish in the top four of the Premier League. Now that they are about to lose another player, this will have an impact on Liverpool's performance in the upcoming season.

The 2023/2024 premier league will be more thrilling and unexpected because the Chelsea team, which many other teams were defeating in any case during the 2022/2023 season league, has grown stronger in preseason games. There will be many surprises that we can't see yet, but I believe the big five teams in the EPL will try hard to compete to be number 1. They have that capacity for now. Many good transfers were made to strengthen the state of the team. Moreover, the transfer season is still happening, maybe there will be many great players coming.

To me, most of the preseason games are glorified training matches and that's because most of these club players doesn't bring out the best from them when playing these preseason matches because the games aren't important to their respective clubs and the goals scored in the preseason games doesn't get added to a footballers record.
That being said,  most of the English Premier League clubs has shown that they'll do extremely well when the new premier league season kicks in August

Meanwhile, I expect Liverpool to be among the clubs that will give Manchester City a very big fight in the title race of the English Premier League. Apart from Arsenal that did it this just concluded season, it has always been Liverpool that have being giving the fight. If they continue to strengthen their team, they will also be the ones to give Manchester City the fight together with Manchester United. For this coming season, the best results I expect for Liverpool is to qualify for the Champions League and to win the Europa League.

Liverpool where a nightmare to even Manchester City last season when they played very well and Liverpool had very many poor performances most of the season. From this season's preseason games it's already clear that Liverpool have improved and will do very much better next season just like Chelsea will. Next season will be very tough and Manchester City will not have it as easy as they did this season.

Liverpool without doubt is a big club with quality players that care capable enough to challenge any English Premier League club anyday anytime as far as football is concerned but to me, they weren't a serious contender against Manchester City last season.
They had their poorest season in the last 6 years and that is to tell how poor of a performance they had last season. I'm hopeful though that they're gonna improve from last season but I don't see the current Liverpool squad as a team to give Manchester City a good run for their money

In the pre-season match, Chelsea looked better than Brighton, of course with the arrival of the new coach, Chelsea seemed to have risen slightly from last season's downturn. My hope was that when the EPL started, Chelsea could really be much better than last season, while Arsenal suffered a defeat in the pre-season match against Manchester United yesterday. I think Arteta has to really evaluate that to be able to perform better in the EPL and UCL later.

So far Liverpool with the current squad team, I'm sure they are able to show the quality of their playing especially that they will also play besides the EPL in other championships such as the European league, apart from that Manchester City will definitely perform well in pre-season matches later, of course with the current squad team Guardiola is quite sure that their team can be much better than last season. 

I like Chelsea's current playing style, they are really being trained by the right people, with Pochettino's distinctive playing style. 5-0 win over Wrexham and 4-3 win over B&H was a very good start for Chelsea before EPL gets back to run.
Many people highlighted the combination of Mudryk and Jackson, they performed brilliantly and opened up hope for Chelsea to be in the top 5 again. I don't expect much from Chelsea in the coming season, as long as they can play well and be compact then they will be able to keep up with the games of other big EPL teams like Man City and Man Utd.

For now all the teams are having pre-season matches and for new players they can take this opportunity to adapt well to their new team in terms of their game. For Manchester United, we have seen their game which was quite interesting when Manchester United faced Arsenal where Manchester United were able to win this match. I think Manchester United strength in the next season will be even stronger after the signing made by Erik Ten Hag in this transfer window.

They got too many troubles in early months of seasons and only came back strongly months after World Cup 2022. Their come back was too late and could not help them to complete the season in top four. Many analyses say like Liverpool got side effects from two seasons ago with which they aimed at four titles in that season but failed and they began the past seasons with exhausted players. Consequently many of their players got injuries in the past season and affected their general performances not only in Premier League but also in Champions League.

We are unable to know about their actual reasons but at least they must work with medical team and staffs to take care of their player fitness and bodies, minimize injury cases in a new season.

Liverpool today got unsatisfactory results this is because they could only draw against German Bundesliga 2 club Greuther Fürth that playing with some of their key players such as Moh Salah, Mac Allister, Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk Liverpool was dominate the match and Liverpool have already leading with the goal from Luis Diaz in the first half but everything was change in the second half that surprisingly Greuther Fürth can able to performing well because they can scores 4 goals and the match almost ended with 4-3 but Moh Salah can equalized and the final scores is 4-4 and Liverpool has through an 2 matches on pre season tour and they have conceded 6 goals from those matches and obviously their defensive lines is still not solid besides that losing Fabinho is greatly impacted to their game because Alexander-Arnold who played as holding midfielder still unable to displayed consistent performance

It is because of Adrian aka Liverpool's goalkeeper, when Becker was playing in the first half, there's no goal from Greuther Fürth. He need to accept if Klopp will ask him to stay in bench, Liverpool need to sign another good goalkeeper who's can substitute Becker.

After this match, Klopp need to find a new goalkeeper and three solid player in midfielder.

I think the current Liverpool striker e.g. Salah, Nunez and Diaz are the best line up.

We could say it's all just preseason and it shouldn't be pay much attention to, but actually in my opinion, I would say this should be seen as a continuation of how horrendous the Liverpool defensive line was during last season, especially towards the end of the season.

Last season they conceded 47 goals, the last time they conceded that much was in 2015/2016 season and for a fact they also did concede 4 goals against an already relegated Southampton in the final match of the season, so Jurgen Klopp really should pay attention to his defense rather than just midfielders and attackers.

I would say preseason is not a basis to determine the form of a team. Managers get to assess his options and players also get a good warmup once before the season kicks off. Nothing is at stake so everything is easy going in these kind of matches. Community shield fixture would be where City and Arsenal will push themselves for real.

PL season kicks off from August 12 so I am excited to see how things start of every team. And most important of all- how the new signings find themselves in the game.

Pre-season friendly matches, coaches will choose second tier young players not as full as the main players, yes it will be natural if they win or lose because this will be considered as a trial of a team before starting the new season in August.

I just want to see the real team after the EPL starts, the coaches will prepare themselves in the first match and this will be their seriousness to be serious and we will know the EPL journey after that.

Many teams are favourites including me Liverpool, they might be Manchester City or Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs. There we will see the original form and character of the players.

For me, i not too bothered about preseason performances and results. I don't give as much credence to pre season other than for the team to perfect its fitness & tactical combinations. Even within the season, I believe that every game is a new start & opportunity so no need dwelling too much on previous losses or wins. The real business starts with the season kickoffs.

I think Liverpool are in a transition period and they've actually been pretty good so far. After being left by Firmino who joined the Saudi league team, Darwin Nunez will now become the successor of the number 9 jersey at Liverpool and during this pre-season match he has proved enough of his contribution by scoring 3 goals in two pre-season matches. With this, we can see that Darwin Nunez is getting more productive and it is hoped that he will also bring this result later when the EPL competition starts. I think Liverpool still have good squad depth for that position and as back-up are Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz who are currently recovering from injury.

Pre-season matches is actually quite important as part of the club's preparations, the coach will test how far the success rate of the changes he made during the off-season took place. New strategies, place adjustments for players, formation counters and more all need to be test before the real season begins.
