Please, understand the contract first. lewis out from chelsea as a loan but there was also a clause in the contract that said obligation to buy for newcastle if some requirements will be fulfilled. That means newcastle will be buying him permanently if he is gonna show good performance but if he will be playing so badly for newcastle and he will be returned again to the chelsea. This week I saw bad news for Manchester City and it seems their coach pep Guardiola, had back surgery and that's why he will be absent in the next two games of Manchester City. the games against Sheffield United and Fulham are not hard for Manchester City but still, they won't have their coach and this can decrease their performance.

It is very unfortunate for Man City, even though the opponent is not the big four team, still the presence of the coach is very important. We know that sometimes the top teams find it difficult to win against teams they can actually beat. In such a difficult position, the coach can give instructions and change the playing strategy. I do not think that they will be missing him all that much in these two games, they mean absolutely nothing at all and simple games to win. Tottenham are really doing well even without Harry Kane present in the team. Definitely, you won’t expect the new manager to use the same approach without Harry Kane.  They now have a creative midfielder in James Maddison and a more mobile central midfielder in Bissouma so I expect them to create chances and score a lot of goals even without Harry Kane’s presence in the team. The injury is already affecting them because I don't see West Ham as a very strong team; they are an average team in the Premier League, so if West Ham can beat Chelsea early, even with their ten players on the field after receiving a red card, I believe Chelsea will not be capable of finishing in the top four in the Premier League table with this current squad. Christopher Nkunku is one player, I believe Pochettino should know better than that, there should be a viable plan B in everything he does as any unexpected could happen at any time. The guy is a promising one but that should still not cause too many lapses in their attack. And from what I see, the issue of Chelsea is more than that, they are still not out of the woods, and the defence is also weak. What I could say as an improvement is that the psychological issue of connectivity among players is no more there, what I see now is a tactical issue, they need to nip it in the bud and get it done.

This is the responsibility of the coach and the players, and most of those guys playing there have good records but better alternatives are out there that are even cheaper. Maybe we should give them more time, after all, some teams do not get it together quickly.

Keeping a clean sheet against Manchester United and winning the game is a resounding display of how solid the team is. Pape Sarr was also impressive in that game as he made attempts and scored the first goal of the season.

It is encouraging to know that Tottenham can compete or win in a game without Harry Kane. It seemed as though Harry Kane's contribution to the Tottenham team was crucial to the team's success when he was there. The shift in their playing style this their first and second match of the season shows that it is no longer the same(improvements has made). After all, "Harry Kane," their previous match rescuer, is no longer among them. The players now took it upon themselves to perform at their best to be able to win games.

Definitely, you won’t expect the new manager to use the same approach without Harry Kane.  They now have a creative midfielder in James Maddison and a more mobile central midfielder in Bissouma so I expect them to create chances and score a lot of goals even without Harry Kane’s presence in the team. I think with what I have seen so far, the new manager didn’t built the team around any player and that alone will allow a lot of players to do well unlike when Harry Kane had the responsibility of creating and scoring goals. I tick Tottenham to finish in the top 4 this season.

Harry Kane-less Tottenham have played two matches in the English Premier League so far with a 2-2 draw against Brentford in the first match and a 2-0 win over Manchester United in the last match to give Tottenham four points, where they are on four points. At the moment, Tottenham is at number six in the points table of the English Premier League. It must be said that Tottenham have performed well without Harry Kane in the first two matches. Tottenham won a match against Manchester United without Harry Kane, where the team's success depended on Harry Kane. Chelsea are already having problems with many of their players injured in just the first few games of this season and some from before. Christopher Nkunku, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, and Carney Chukwuemeka were all injured for Chelsea. More can follow if care is not taken because there have been lots of injuries recorded already in this premier league season.

That's a lot of injuries to key Chelsea players and this is likely going to affect the team's performance in their next game having got this number of players injured who are yet to recover. Starting up the season with so many injuries has the possibility of denying them the top 4 spots, looking at how competitive it was last season. It is needful for the coach to step up his game to get Chelsea into the promised Land.

I'm not sure about Chelsea's development this season, I don't know what made Chelsea like this, even Chelsea is very difficult to get out of its slump, I'm not even sure if their core players recover from injury, whether the best players can bring Chelsea to its best setting , even for almost two seasons, Chelsea have not been very consistent in some of their matches, even in the first match they played without having confidence in facing West Ham some time ago, Chelsea must improve as quickly as possible and rise from their slump if Chelsea continues like this, it is most likely they will be left behind by the big clubs and their rivals..

Probably the game against West Ham was really very bad for Chelsea, but still we can say that West Ham are playing very well now... At the start of this season Arsenal seemed to be having difficulties on their front lines, in the match against Crystal Palace they only won 1 goal and the goal was created through a penalty point, Arsenal's front line did not play effectively in the first 2 Premier League matches, but the victory achieved against Crystal Palace was quite dramatic, even though they got a red card but were able to maintain the advantage, I think that's a good thing.

It's still early in the season, so it's too early to say the championship competition, but Arsenal have changed this team to be much better than last season but performance and consistency no one knows what will happen as this season goes on.

Now I agree with this, that there seems to be something missing from them up front. Apart from the front line, I also see their midfield playing less than optimal, I mean they can be more creative again to dismantle the opponent's defense with their passes or with their stabs from the middle, and I haven't seen that.
I also agree that it's still too early to talk about competing for the championship, after all we're still in week two, and usually early weeks are weeks where some clubs haven't found their full form.
