This game needs Diaz because Liverpool have had less chances in this game compared to Manchester City who have controlled the game well, especially the Midfield. Doku has been the lead for Manchester City and Akanji has shown to be a better choice for this game than Gvardiol would have been. Liverpool are a strong team this season, so this game is far from over. I expect a response from Liverpool in the second half, because this game looks like a draw game that will end either in 1-1, or 2-2.

What a beautiful finish from Halaad as he net the post stylishly on the 27th minutes. The error that led to the goal was from Liverpool goalkeeper as he wanted to play the ball inside the field but he slipped of and the ball went straight to Manchester city player who made good passes and final the ball was given to Halaad to open the score line.

Manchester city is one goal ahead of Liverpool but for on the look of things, it is possible that Liverpool might equalise the goal before half time because Nunez missed a good opportunity.

It's was a very poor first half performance from Liverpool, Trent Arnold was very poor today he let Doku in so much and Liverpool were Lucky no goal came as a result of it.
The goal was a very easy one as Trent and his Hungarian team mate let Ake in easily allowing him to supply the ball to Erling Haaland was made no mistake in putting the ball at the back of the net.
It's been fairly quite for Liverpool in front as their only real chance fell to Darwin Nunez but was not really a threat for Manchester city goal keeper .

A very  tight first half where Liverpool had to be busy with the aggression carried out by Man City attackers starting from
 the  flow of the ball from foot to foot made us really enjoy this match.  Liverpool tried to stop the continuous attacks  they had few chances especially after Erling Haaland opened with a gol. The intensity of the game will get hotter in the second half and for Pep  this result is still not safe. Liverpool can definitely equalize in the second half as long as they succeed in stopping the flow  of the ball especially Liverpool midfield which appeared  to make no contribution.

Basically Chelsea is not a mediocre team but indeed, because Chelsea has experienced a decline in performance from last season as well. Man City are clearly  superior and  dominate this match well even though  without KDB, Haaland can still score goals so everything will still be fine.  Hopefully in the second half Liverpool can score a goal and escape the pressure from the Man City players.  Because it would be quite disappointing  if you didn't score a single goal.  Usually in the second  half Man City will  not reduce their rhythm of play and can be even more aggressive.  For this reason Liverpool needs to be prepared especially the back line  which must remain alert.

So far it has been a master class performance from the Manchester city side as usual as the home side keep firing from all cylinder using the wings to over run the Liverpool defence, this is one thing the Liverpool side have failed to do from the first half and that's why the score line is still in favour of Manchester city. In my opinion, it will be very difficult to determine the winner of the Manchester City vs Liverpool and Newcastle vs Chelsea matches, but I would prefer to bet on the result over goals considering that there will definitely be lots of goals scored.

In these two matches, we have strikers currently in the top 5 goal scorers – Salah, Haaland, and Wilson. Meanwhile, Nkuku might join Chelsea, having attended training sessions in the past few days. Choosing the winners for these two big matches is a bit tricky, and predicting over 2.5 goals seems more possible.

At this stage of the match I don’t think there is much Liverpool can do, the Manchester City defence is strong in this game, but if they can increase the tempo of their attack and make better decisions is distributing the ball to the forward, they will be able to equalise, i see the game going any way from here, that is Liverpool can either equalise the game and end as draw or Manchester City can still very possibly add another goal and stamp their 3 points for the week. Liverpool has final broken the deadlock on the 80th minutes after a long try, Alexander Arnold was the goal equaliser, as he scored with a brilliant finish by placing the ball on the last end of the right side of the post which Liverpool goalkeeper dived but couldn't stop the ball.

This is a good work from Liverpool team for them to be able to withstand Manchester city with all their ball possessions in the ongoing match. Don't even try comparing it against Chelsea, its a huge insult to the masterclass performance seen that day, even Manchester city was frightened at some point by the level of pressure Chelsea introduced that day. For me, the game just started now, let's relax and enjoy Manchester city's reaction to being equalized like stated above. I hope I will be able to enjoy the game before its over. Manchester city has been bullying Liverpool, but I hope Liverpool gives us a better performance going forward.

Honestly I was expecting something more from this match especially in terms of the tension but looking at what happened  this match was actually a bit monotonous especially if we compare it to Manchester City's match against Chelsea before.But indeed this is still very good if 1 point can be obtained because after all this is better than losing points but in this case the advantage is certainly in the hands of Arsenal because they only have to get 3 point in the match they will get to overtake  the standings.

In the first and second half, Liverpool couldn't do much because Manchester City dominated play.
After T.A Arnold's goal, Liverpool are now trying to break Manchester City's dominance of the game. Kloop brought in several players with an attacking character after Szobozlai was withdrawn to replace Gakpo.

It seems that Liverpool's efforts will not be successful in targeting victory because the time available is no longer long.
