What a beautiful finish from Halaad as he net the post stylishly on the 27th minutes. The error that led to the goal was from Liverpool goalkeeper as he wanted to play the ball inside the field but he slipped of and the ball went straight to Manchester city player who made good passes and final the ball was given to Halaad to open the score line.

Manchester city is one goal ahead of Liverpool but for on the look of things, it is possible that Liverpool might equalise the goal before half time because Nunez missed a good opportunity.

City is going to win against liverpool. The gameplay of liverpool was not as good as chelsea. It seems like that chelsea is still young but once it gets even mature and it can also become a deadly team. The match is pretty boring. There's no good attack came from liverpool.
The heading from nunez was the only chance to threatening ederson. Look at how garbage jones being included in the starting line up. Im watching this guy has zero contribution during the game.

People were predicting this game even better than the match against chelsea and they are all wrong. Jota can do nothing against walker. he loses in physic, speed and anything.

Manchester City is having a very good performance as Manchester City managed to score a goal before half time. Although Liverpool are doing well, the defense is much weaker than Manchester City. Haaland got the ball, he hit the ball into Liverpool's goal post with a great particle site kick. Manchester City are attacking a lot but Liverpool just can't seem to attack. Manchester City's defense is so strong that Liverpool are unable to get the ball inside the D-box. Liverpool will need to attack with better preparation as a patient attack will surely have a greater chance of success. As an away team Liverpool don't have the force to hold down Manchester City to a draw in this game,  City are already leading in the first half of the game with an early goal from Haaland at 27minutes making it his 50th goals in 48 appearances since he arrived the English premier league.  Something I love about Manchester City is their ability to convert chances to fruitful results and that's what they are using as a hedge against the Klopp defense that hasn't been able to clampdown Haaland from giving a lead.  Can Salah break this lead and put back the game to a stalemate draw in the second half? We are being served a football feast by the Premier League. Their performances today are vital, but not assured, given that Man City and Newcastle have Champions League matches scheduled. For a multi-bet, I have my eye on this too. The truth is, I believe that both sides will score in these games. Its a bit of a wild card matchup between Chelsea and Newcastle. Although Chelsea's recent victory against Spurs and their stalemate with City indicate they are starting to turn things around, Newcastle has been faltering a little. Doku played freely and repeatedly made dangerous threats in the Liverpool penalty box.  Currently Liverpool have not found a gap because the defense is tightly  guarded so Salah and Nunez  are still having difficulty opening up opportunities. Man City are clearly  superior and  dominate this match well even though  without KDB, Haaland can still score goals so everything will still be fine.  Hopefully in the second half Liverpool can score a goal and escape the pressure from the Man City players.  Because it would be quite disappointing  if you didn't score a single goal.  Usually in the second  half Man City will  not reduce their rhythm of play and can be even more aggressive.  For this reason Liverpool needs to be prepared especially the back line  which must remain alert.

I do not see Liverpool scoring two goals against Manchester City in Etihad Stadium because Liverpool is playing more of a defensive game and relying on counterattacks to score a goal against Manchester City. If Liverpool's coach can change his tactics in the second half, I think they will gain balance and be able to penetrate Manchester City's defense, but if they continue the same pattern of play in the second half Manchester City will score more goals.

It's was a very poor first half performance from Liverpool, Trent Arnold was very poor today he let Doku in so much and Liverpool were Lucky no goal came as a result of it.
The goal was a very easy one as Trent and his Hungarian team mate let Ake in easily allowing him to supply the ball to Erling Haaland was made no mistake in putting the ball at the back of the net.
It's been fairly quite for Liverpool in front as their only real chance fell to Darwin Nunez but was not really a threat for Manchester city goal keeper .

Well judging from the overall analysis in the first half, Manchester city has really dominated Liverpool as they possess the ball more by having a possession of 63% - 37%, Shot on target 4 - 1, corner kicks 5 - 1, so Manchester city were really in control of the first half let's see if they will continue dominating the match till the end or if Liverpool will come out strong to face City in the second half. However, Manchester City is only leading by a lone goal as anything can happen in the second half. Liverpool really performed poorly in the first half and if they don't re strategize in this second half then they will lose woefully. Liverpool Scoring two goals may not be possible for them but at least they can get an equalizer.

Liverpool cannot afford to loose this match, Arsenal at the other hand will face Brentford and that match seems to be a tough one for Arsenal, let's just watch how the Liverpool and Manchester city match will end.

That was a good save by the Man City goalie using his hands to parry it away before the defender kicked it even further away. This goal attempt about a minute away before the end of the first half, if successful would have given Liverpool a morale boost. They sure need it after struggling most of the first half.

Liverpool had only an attempt at goal and it’s not surprising with the outcome so far. It also hasn’t been so easy to retain the ball in their possession long enough.
Akanji is becoming more instrumental in the team as his presence in a game is noticeable.

This game needs Diaz because Liverpool have had less chances in this game compared to Manchester City who have controlled the game well, especially the Midfield. Doku has been the lead for Manchester City and Akanji has shown to be a better choice for this game than Gvardiol would have been. Liverpool are a strong team this season, so this game is far from over. I expect a response from Liverpool in the second half, because this game looks like a draw game that will end either in 1-1, or 2-2.

So far, Doku has been the most dangerous player on the pitch causing more entertainment and chaos to Alexander Arnold who's currently breathing a like a donkey chased by a lion. He's suffering anf needs support from his players to hold down Doku and Bernado Silva.
Julian Alvarez is not in this game and should be substuted.

Manchester City midfielders have also done well, I love Pep Guardiola's introduction of Akanji into the midfield to support Rodri. But the right wing seems less productive. Both Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez should be substituted in this game. Manchester City should pay attention closely otherwise, this game is headed for a fulltime draw. They have to score a goal to seal the game.

So far the big game between Manchester City and Liverpool has been quite a low-scoring one. Manchester City are still maintaining their lead by Haaland's only goal. It hasn't been much time since the second half started. Liverpool had better start showing some reaction to this situation. They aren't this much desperate this season.

A very  tight first half where Liverpool had to be busy with the aggression carried out by Man City attackers starting from
 the  flow of the ball from foot to foot made us really enjoy this match.  Liverpool tried to stop the continuous attacks  they had few chances especially after Erling Haaland opened with a gol. The intensity of the game will get hotter in the second half and for Pep  this result is still not safe. Liverpool can definitely equalize in the second half as long as they succeed in stopping the flow  of the ball especially Liverpool midfield which appeared  to make no contribution.

I expected this performance from Manchester City because they have more advantages over Liverpool because they have a good well experienced strikers that can deliver very well on this match, if you check very well on the way the match is going you will see that Manchester City is dominanting on this first half if there performance continues on the second half they will surely score more scorer against Liverpool.

However Haaland is giving them a serious heat and even checking the possession Manchester City is leading them.
