I was surprised with Chelsea's performance today i was expecting something better from them against Newcastle but it was a disappointment as usual, watching how they play against Manchester City everybody's spirit was high just watching the way they play, now this Chelsea fans left in disgust and are disappointed. A. Gordon was really active in this game and gave Newcastle a well played game he gave one assist one goal. Of it you talking about the man down Newcastle has already scored 3 goals already so the one down was around 73 minutes.  And maybe they under estimated  Newcastle they have forgotten you don't joke with Newcastle and Newcastle always make it to top 5 so them winning is not surprising after all. That is football strategy might fail and might be used against you by the opponent.

The first half of the game, Chelsea didn’t play so bad and they tried to equalize on the first goal Newcastle had in the first half keeping the hopes of their supporters alive.
It all came crashing down in the second half as Newcastle came alive, dominating the game and stepping up the pressure and got 3 more goals. I too had looked back on the game they had with Manchester City and hoped to see Chelsea play some good football.

Concerning the red card gotten by Chelsea, it probably wouldn’t have made any difference if James didn’t pick up the red card and had to go off the pitch. The pressure was mounting and Chelsea couldn’t hold them back.

Putting ugochukwu instead of caicedo since the first half. Pochettino has something wrong in his mind. This guy was playing so badly. The second goal was happeing caused by this guy is only standing without even trying to block the ball kicked by gordon.
Chelsea was also very often making mistake. Pochettino has been also using the wrong line up. Mudryk and caicedo shall have played since the second half was starting. Some bad substitutions by poch.
No doubt that if he is so terrible in the decision making. Worst performance of this season by chelsea. No doubt that if pochettino was making some wrong choices.
The starting line up is bad to face newcastle which is able using its main squad again.

Yeah this is a big match between the top 1-2 so there's no need to be surprised if the two teams draw, overall Manchester City played better and controlled the match but don't forget that their opponent is Liverpool, one of the strongest teams in the Premier League, we often see how Liverpool plays against strong teams no matter whether they are playing at home or away. What surprised me was Newcastle who managed to beat Chelsea with a big score 4-1 even though at first I thought both teams would play aggressively but it turned out that Newcastle was able to take advantage of the situation.

In other matches, Arsenal managed to win and take over the standings there was a shift in the standings and I think Arsenal will be there for a few weeks because Arsenal will face easier opponents in the next few weeks until December 24, Arsenal will face Liverpool well, in this match maybe Arsenal will lose points because Liverpool is playing at home and Liverpool might take over the standings.

The final score was 1-1 and this was a pretty good match between the two top team in the premier League where Manchester city was held to a draw by liverpool at the etihad stadium. As the match progresses, We can see that this match will be quite fierce from both sides, but their strengths are quite balanced in this match and it is appropriate for them to share the points in this match. Liverpool this season have shown better changes compared to the previous season, But sometimes they have difficulty maintaining their consistency and kloop has to think about that so they don't lose any more points. For manchester city, Of course they were very disappointed with this result because they took an early lead from the goal scored by haaland but they were unable to defend it.

Salah also had several good opportunities but unfortunately He was guarded very tightly by manchester city players in this match. Apart from that, Salah was also able to contribute an assist to create a goal from Alexander arnold in the 80th minute. Now these two teams are still sitting side by side in the standing table and they will continue to fight to be the strongest in the upcoming match. I think liverpool have bigger ambitions this season and their hope is to win the title this season.

Chelsea performances against Tottenham and Manchester City also make me believe they win the game today, or if Chelsea was not lucky to win, they will draw the match, but seriously, Newcastle won with many goals, which was something I never expected before the game started. With the set quality players that Chelsea have, I don't expect they should be suffering like this when playing any team season because I believe Chelsea have the qualities, but I don't know why they are not performing well despite their squad, in fact,  many teams that are doing better than Chelsea don't even have quality players like Chelsea.

Chelsea have proven to us all that they are an inconsistent team, i wonder how they went on to take all the strongest teams in the league by surprise and gave them the strongest fight of the season but still go on to perform woefully against smaller opponents. I know Newcastle United are also good in playing big matches but with their injury crisis Chelsea should be able to defeat them or even get a draw since they are playing away from home but they went on to give the fans the poorest performance they have had in a while. I wonder if maybe it was due to the coach being suspended or probably due to some changes made in the starting lineup. Anyways chelsea still has a long way to go and they need to start by winning smaller matches comfortably else they won’t get anywhere.

I don’t know why Moises Caicedo was benched but a player like Caicedo should not be left on the bench if he is not injured because we can all see the difference in their midfield compared to other matches he started. Chelsea has one of the best midfield in the league currently and it is almost impossible for any team to win the midfield battle against Chelsea when Enzo, Caicedo and Gallagher are being paired together but today it was different all because one of them was left out and Newcastle won the midfield battle and it was why the match was easy for them to win.

Apart from that, the additional 3 points make Arsenal return to leading the standings this week where Arteta men are 1 point ahead of Manchester City who are in second place. In tomorrow match, there will be many surprises because if Aston Villa manages to get 3 points then they will enter the top 4 by overtaking Liverpool and vice versa if Tottenham win again then they will get rid of Liverpool.

And now just as you said if Aston wins there match they automatically become the fourth position on premier league table by bringing Liverpool down, so honestly the premier league is getting more interesting by the day and if it continues this way we may never expect the club that will become the winner.

I don’t know why Moises Caicedo was benched but a player like Caicedo should not be left on the bench if he is not injured because we can all see the difference in their midfield compared to other matches he started.

I can’t say for sure but I can still recall hearing over the commentary that, he happens to be the last returning player from the international break on the Chelsea team. That could mean, not having to be properly filled in on the team tactics and perhaps, leaving him on the bench was by some means to discipline the player.

On top of that and recent performance for Caicedo I wouldn’t say he was just too great or his coming off the bench could have been part of what resulted to this defeat. I can still recall his first game where his mistake caused Chelsea a goal, a few games after that where he struggled and even games where he had to be on the starting lineup and Chelsea still gets to struggle.

Chelsea is a team that lacks consistency on their side and while they still try to fine a rhythm for there team, you can expect whichever opposition to capitalize on that, cause them to make a mistake and use that to punish the team. There were just lots of mistakes from them today and each of them was punished.

I agree with you, in the last month we have seen changes at the top of the standings, the top teams take turns at the top of the standings and this is enough to prove that the competition in the Premier League is very tough apart from that, the difference in points between the other teams is very close. We are still waiting to see how Tottenham will do this week their performance drops suddenly dropped from 1st to 4th place, I know Tottenham want to get back to the top of the standings but they have to go through tough matches in the next 4 matches.

Because Manchester City could not secure full points at home against Liverpool, although they led in the first half but unfortunately Liverpool were able to equal the score in the second half. Arsenal lucky this week, they can took advantage of this momentum by beating Brentford. Although they also had struggled in this match as you said and only got one score, but at least in the end they can got three points and take over City position on top for awhile.
In other matches, I don't believe with the result of the match Newcastle vs Chelsea. Previously Chelsea were so convincing because they could get one point from City, but today they can be beaten very bad.

The defensive line of city was not expecting TAA to create a direct shot. that's why the goal keeper was not also ready to block it. These clubs were missing 2 points which are bad. Arsenal is going at the top again this season having small gaps toward city and liverpool.
The gameplay of liverpool vs city was not that good. Even though chelsea was lose against newcastle but the drama in this match is much more interesting rather than liverpool vs manchester city. People who watch the game was also feeling so curious why there are many yellow cards in the match between newcastle vs chelsea. Manchester city has no one who can directly attacking to the box. Doku was not performing so good. His prediction can be predicted easily.
Even though TAA was facing difficulties but it can be reduced through adding another 1 to block doku's movement. im not feeling good with doku's performance. It must be grealish.

TBH, this season has been the toughest so far. Every team is in for the competition and their performance is top notch. Its hard for you to predict a straight win games in EPL, because you can never be certain what would be the outcome by the end of the match. It has been a great day for the Arsenal fans and team. Arsenal has successfully secured a win against Brentford. They are finally at the top of the table with 1 points ahead of Mancity. Although it was a difficult game at the start of the match, because Brentford were playing more defensively, looking for the slightest opportunity to counter and score a goal. We can see in the game that the Arsenal goal keeper almost made a mistake in the peach which would have cost them a lot but was lucky enough that one of his team members was able to cover on his behalf so quick. Who knows what would have been the faith of Arsenal if that become a goal. Brentford would have cover their goal post completely and try to secure that goal till the end of the match.

This season's Premier League is starting to get exciting again after the Liverpool vs Manchester City match ended in a draw today, because directly this will be quite a good opportunity for Arsenal who still really want to aim for the top of the standings. Likewise, Tottenham and Aston Villa also have the opportunity to take a better place if they are able to win their 13th match this season. Because this will make the distance between the top of the standings and the other competitors in the top five of the standings even closer.

Newcastle is sure one of the best teams so far and they are showing why they should be one of the top teams in English football.

I don't know what went wrong with Chelsea's tactics in the second half, they were disorganized, and Newcastle United used the opportunity to hammer Chelsea a lot of goals in the second half.

Liverpool, on the other hand, showed their resilience in coming back from a goal down to secure a point as they always show this season. Alexander-Arnold's goal was a moment of individual brilliance, and their attacking threat was always present. they will need to find more consistency if they want to keep competing for the title. As the Premier League season progresses, the battle for dominance will continue to intensify. Manchester City and Liverpool have shown their capabilities, but their inconsistent performances could open the door for other teams to challenge.

Brentford defence is really solid to have held it down till the 88 minutes before arsenal saw the back of the net. They've really made arsenal sweat to get a goal,  though Brentford hasn't been converting their chances, if not they would have been able to get a goal or two by now, but their defensive style has really been impressive. Brentford coach, Thomas Frank is dissapointed with his team's performance after defeats against Gunners. Mikel Arteta and his men are ontop of the EPL table, good news for the club and these players deserved accolades. Brentford is one of the competitive team that have sights on elite teams, not holding back but focusing on winning the opposition which proven difficult and denied accumulating three points today. The Bees got defeated at home after applying a tremendous defensive style. Arsenal was almost tie to draw but Kai Havertz open the scoring injury time, that was the goal the team have been longing for.

Playing against this Brentford side and taking a point is a very difficult job especially at home. Brentford were on a three-game winning streak before losing to Liverpool last time out, so I knew they were going to try and get a positive result at home. But unfortunately for them, Arsenal came with the objective of getting a must win that could see them take the top spot if Manchester City and Liverpool end up sharing the spoils in their match.

Kudus to Kai Havertz. I'm so delighted for Havertz. He has been criticized for his performance since joining Arsenal, and finally he got them a crucial three points. I think it was a perfect game for a player that have taken a lot of criticisms. Arsenal are on a good course this season. It's not as flashy as last year but they’ve really improved defensively, with Declan Rice addition they can challenge really well. The team is playing well and if they can stick together and hold on for a while, I think they have a better chance this season.

The underrated Kai Havertz have become the man of the moment after netting the only goal that gave Arsenal the lead against Brentford. This is the one game that would have hold down Gunners from climbing top but they didn't relent, rather they force their way through and winning becomes the ultimate target for the club.

I think that Chelsea can really change and also play optimally because the last two matches were quite good. But this time, they really failed. Due to a situation like that, with Newcastle's condition being quite down, it turns out that Pochettino has not been able to bring Chelsea to win against Newcastle. Moreover, they lost badly 1 - 4 for Newcastle to win. This was a really bad result for Chelsea. They also got 1 red card.

Yes I agree with that, it's not easy to put faith in them now. Maybe they can play well against Tottnham and Manchester City, but they can change in the next match, one of them is this match.
Actually in the first half they played quite well and they could even hold a draw. But entering the second half, Newcastle can play more effectively in utilizing the opportunities they get. Even in my opinion the red card received by Chelsea was not the reason for their defeat in this match.

Liverpool in this league really showed their best performance. In my opinion, only Klopp is really a competitor to Pep Guardiola in the Premier League. It's just that Pep is a little luckier because all the players he is targeting can be bought. Meanwhile, Klopp, that's how it is.

This wasn't Liverpool's finest performance. We have had better performances but today's own was enough to get the job done and that was to get the bare minimum if we can't get maximum game from the fixture. Everybody knew it wouldn't be an easy feat to goto Etihad stadium and get all 3 points from Guardiola's men even without KDB playing.

My expectations will be higher when Liverpool hold city at Anfield later this season 

This is a success for Liverpool, although only a draw they achieved but it was good, because we know that it is not easy to beat Manchester City when competing at home. A result that I think is fair enough for these two teams, they also show an interesting game.
Although Manchester City dominated the match, they could not penetrate the defense built by Liverpool other than in the 27th minute when Erling Haaland created a goal.

But for me, a few goals or a lot of goals doesn't matter, the important thing is that they can get three points and now they are at the top of the standings. I saw that Arsenal looked very solid defensively in several matches and this was Arsenal's shortcoming last season. This must be addressed but I want my attack to improve a little.

I don't think it would be wrong if yesterday's match is considered as the best match of the English Premier League as yesterday we enjoyed a breathtaking match between Manchester City vs Liverpool. With the performances of Manchester City and Liverpool yesterday, it is normal for the two teams to share a point. On the other hand, Manchester City made two short goals on Liverpool's target. Manchester City went ahead in the beginning, but later Liverpool managed to equalize. Those who missed one such match might have missed one of the most interesting matches of the season so far. Manchester City and Liverpool points difference before the start of the match was 1 and after the match Manchester City and Liverpool points difference was 1.

Yeah Tomiyasu really did a great job at the defense in this game, I commend his effort in the defense, it's really impressive of him. Havertz that isn't even too in form was able to secure the win for Arsenal, that was a very brilliant header from Kai Havertz.

I think Gabriel Jesus needs more training time before he can feature in Arsenal matches because for being absent for quite sometimes now requires him to be fully fit before he can play convincingly, he flopped so much today and wasted opportunities that would have been converted but however it's really good to see him back on the pitch.

Congratulations to Arsenal and Kai Havertz for being a hero for Arsenal and the team and determining the victory over Brentford, thanks to this victory Arsenal returned to first place, Manchester City in 2nd place, Liverpool in 3rd place.
Competition in the Premier League is getting fiercer. The three clubs have a very narrow difference in points, so the three clubs are trying to catch up to get points to occupy first place.

Manchester City has very strong rivals this season and Pep Guardiola has to fight harder to win the Premier League title again because currently it looks difficult to predict. Its not important about how beautiful counter attack build up regarding three points achievement although Arsenal won 1-0 over Brentford and helped them reach to fist position placed. Special achievement for Kai Havertz who played last ten minutes before match ended but his one important goals give three points for Arsenal and they will comfortable until next matchday on the top position.

Beside Havertz as important player for Arsenal winning match I think don't forget with Japanese player Takehiro Tomiyasu, he is playing well last night and most special thing from this player can play well as left or right defender. Arsenal focus upcoming match on Champion  League to get one place on 16th round. Arsenal answered criticize and waiting until how long they will consistent on the top standing regarding last season loss first place behind league almost ended.

It's strange to see Tomiyasu mostly wins in every aerial battle even though he's not that tall, both Saliba and Gabriel are taller than him.

Nice to see Ramsdale back to play for Arsenal since Arteta prefer to let Raya to play despite Raya keep making a silly mistake.
