This match means a lot for both clubs, first Manchester City needs the three points to maintain their points gap while Everton need it to create more space for themselves because Luton Town that are ahead of them with a point still have an advantage to gain more points through their outstanding match. I don't see any hope for Everton in the matches because they are playing away and Everton strength can not withstand the pressure of Manchester.

Everton are very down and have to play Manchester City so this is a very difficult game to win. however Manchester City will get the full 3 points and make Everton even more in danger of being relegated. Initially Everton had recovered but this time if they lose to Manchester City the possibility of being eliminated from  the EPL is greater. above Everton is Luton Town which is actually slightly better  than the clubs of their generation that entered the EPL this season such as Sheffield and Burnley because they both  seem less fortunate.

Perhaps Everton would have had some minimal chance of points if they had played at home, although with Dyche's arrival Everton were no longer the home team we used to see them. Yes, they are now in the relegation zone, but their position is not so critical, they are only one point from Luton and two points from Nottingham, so everything is under control for now and it is clear that they are unlikely to be able to improve their position in the match with City.

Not sure if playing at home they will win against Man City still they will be overwhelmed in the current situation especially because it is getting worse then that makes it difficult for them to win at this time unless the opportunity to win with an equal team or a team that is in the relegation zone.

Although Everton's position is not critical but this will be difficult for them to return to their starting position because we certainly know Luton is now in good condition can be said so the same thing Nottingham Forest they will definitely fight for points as much as possible not to be in the crisis zone.

Pep Guardiola  did not field Kevin de Bruyne in the starting eleven because it would be prepared for the second half if he saw Everton put up a tough fight. With the combination of Foden, Rodri, Doku and Haaland they will definitely be quite effective in creating a sharp attack line. So it won't be surprising if in the first  half there will be 2 goals from Man City because currently Haaland is on fire to score goals.

Everton drew with Tottenham maybe but it was thanks to a last minute goal. Manchester City are indeed a way more powerful opponent than Tottenham. Everton are already having big difficulties this season. After the points penalty they got things are even more difficult for them during the rest of the season. 

Sometimes they steal points from bigger teams such as the Tottenham example. However I don't think they can even get near doing that at Etihad today. Every single game is critical for Manchester City on the road going to the league title. I don't expect them to make any mistake here.

We really can't equate Tottenham and Manchester City. Tottenham are doing well but they are not title contenders. They have also been inconsistent this season. City is far superior to Tottenham in various aspects. City are also motivated to win the title this season so of course they will go all out to win that match. Because if they draw then they will collect 50 points and that is still 1 point behind Liverpool. A win would ensure them a place in first place.

Everton is performing quite well and manchester city is sometimes missing its pass. City was dominating the ball possession and pep is also saving de bruyne to start from the bench. I do understand that if pep is not willing to force him to play full time caused by he was the most important asset owned by manchester city.
The city's defenders are sometimes making some unnecessary mistake in the match against everton. Alvarez was playing as attacking midfielder but i know this guy is not as good de bruyne in term of ball distribution. I think that manchester city needs to put de bruyne at the second half to make sure the club will get three points against everton.

Manchester city has been motivated to take the first position. So, winning the game against everton is a must right now. City has not yet made an effective attack against everton. It's surprising me how everton was not playing passive football like build the parking bus.
Everton played quite open against city and it totally depends on whether city can take the opportunity to score. Manchester city needs to recruit someone who is good enough in distrubting the ball to the upfront.

The biggest problem is their conceding too many goals. It is 35 goals in 23 games. Even Everton haven't conceded that many so far despite fighting for staying out of the relegation zone.    Ange Postecoglou should focus on improving the defending now.

I think a top-four finish is more achievable for them. Every match for City brings them closer to the crown. They play to dominate, not simply win

Only 6 shots were made by the City players, but not one was on target. I expected a better performance from Manchester City. But we haven't seen a better performance from them in the first half in the home match. Despite dominating the match with 74% ball possession, Manchester City players could not score a single goal.

It is better for a manager to have series of options that he can rely on than to have to worry himself due to lack of quality players. If there is competition in the squad it will help the team develop very well as everyone will want to give their best in order to be selected by the manager. Guardiola has a way of balancing his squad and now that KDB is back am sure he will adjust his tactics to make sure that his players get playing time in the field. I think Pep will be happy that he has options.

Pep Guardiola is in a complicated position because there is more scrutiny than the previous season, with every top team competing for the crown this season. What we need to know is that Kelvin De Bruyne has returned to form, and we should be prepared since his presence has been vital to the team's success. Pep Guardiola smiles as he watches the Belgian international make an impression on the pitch; having such a world-class player in his side makes him happy. Manchester City will win the EPL title this season, and they don't need any help from outsiders.

But to me, Manchester City performance is still okay in the absence of Kelvin De Bruyne because when De Bruyne was absent, they were still performing well. During that time, they managed to rank up to second position in the standings, so with this, I think they are okay by then, although with Kelvin De Bruyne, they perform better and even stronger, and that is what makes us believe that without Kelvin De Bruyne and Halaand, they may not win the EPL, which is true because with these two players, everything goes smoothly for them, and even the fans get more hope for them if these two players are present.

Whenever a very important player from a team is injured or not playing for some reason or even transferred to another club it is hard for that team to make some strategy for a few weeks which will work fine without that player. But eventually, the team will find a way to win.

So, I think that's what is happening with Manchester City. Without KDB they are finding it hard to work the strategy that they have. But eventually, they will have to find out what works best for them. And I also agree that without KDB the performance was not that bad from Manchester City. But the performance did go down a little for them.

Everton defended quite well and that makes it difficult for Man City to create opportunities. What I see is that Man City looks quite frustrated. If in the second half, Man City can improve their creativity or at least make more frequent shot attempts from outside the penalty box, I think Man City could have had their moment.

Well, because it is said that Man United performance is bad, that is also not true because based on the start of 2024, Man United has not yet experienced a defeat. In total from his last 5 matches, 2 in the FA Cup and came out as winners, then 3 in the EPL 2 wins and 1 draw namely against Tottenham. So Man United weren't completely bad to start the year but that doesn't mean they were good overall.

What I see is pep guadiola bringing in the master mind @kevin de bruyne, he alone can change the pace of their game play and I doubt if come this second half Manchester city will not score atleast two goals because I know they will come out strong and there will definitely be a goal in the second half of play. Everton from their own end have defended quite well but I doubt they can keep this Manchester city side from actually scoring, I think it's just a matter of time before the goals Starts coming in.

Tottenham, when they don't play with all of their best strikers, have had defeats, this was visible when they played against Chelsea and had injured players and others received red cards, what we saw next were consecutive defeats for Tottenham. in the game against verton they didn't have son because he was playing in the asian cup, but even so tottenham managed to do very well in attack to the point of having managed to score 2 goals, everton despite being a team that is fighting to stay away from the relegation zone, they have been a good defensive team in the last few games, reaching the point of coming out with a draw, see that right now as I'm writing my post, Everton is playing against Manchester City and has already finished 1 half with goalless draw

Manchester City needs to win this game, but even though they need to win this game, the Manchester City coach is not playing with some good players to save them because of the next game in the European Champions League, but this is making Everton succeed. draw the game. Kevin De Bruyne finally came on in the second half to replace Matheus Nunes but it looks like Bernardo Silva will still be kept by Pep Guardiola if the result remains the same. Currently the match is still with the same score of 0-0 and it is still strange because there have been no significant changes from Manchester City. But we can hope that at least Kevin De Bruyne's entry can be a strong reason for Manchester City to immediately break into Everton's goal.

Everton know what they need and indeed I agree that in the end they just want to get a draw against Manchester City because if it's not like that Everton will go home without taking a single point. But just defending won't make the result the same and there are times when Manchester City can find gaps in Everton's defense and I think they have to be aware of that before it happens.

I always support Manchester City and I want them to win but they really need to move and score. Obviously the actual result is very favourable for Liverpool which could be able to maintain the first place for a while at least..

Only I wanted to write that Everton is not an easy club for any opponent, as Man City scored a goal... In general it's an interesting match and I would like Everton to equalise too... But probably City will not let them do it... For City three points are very important to try to get to the first place in the EPL...
