Theoretically, Man City should win the match and get 3 points from the match. Unfortunately, Man City must share the points with Chelsea. Chelsea succeed to steal a point in Man City home.

I really appreciated the way of Chelsea got the point. They played with under 30% ball possessions. Meanwhile Man City won above 70% ball possession, they also made 31 shots. Chelsea looked very great in defense, they could make Man City scoring 1 goal only.

Manchester city did had a full squad which was the reason most persons trusted and believe them and they had good performance in their most previous and recent games where they were able to win a few games and we're able to maintain a good position ahead of others and were in the table in a very good position, Chelsea still doesn't have a chance to be in the top four even after the draw against Manchester city, it really baffles me how they at almost every time this season are able to draw Manchester city.

I think City is not really at their best this season as they have failed to win Chelsea team that is unstable since the beginning of the season both home and away that's a good record to the blues to be honest. Tonight I think I agree with you Haaland and Doku wasn't good in the game as they failed to do what was expected from them it's a disappointment.

Same here the whole crowd was actually in support of Chelsea to win the game and I noticed Arsenal fans cause they were large in number shouting the blues as they fondly call the Chelsea team over here I think they did that because their position in the league was at stake since a win for City would have made Arsenal to be 3rd in the league and also place Liverpool's position in a tight place since City has a game in hand. I think almost all of us think the same thing Manchester City will beat Chelsea because they want to be at the top of the standings but what happened was truly unexpected Manchester City only drew even Manchester City almost lost, fortunately Rodri scored in the 83rd minute. It seems that Liverpool is a little comfortable after seeing City just play draw this means that Liverpool are still safe for the next few weeks, Manchester City does have one match to play but even though they won in the match they were still one point behind.

Chelsea performance and result against Manchester City tonight is the least I expected of them and if I must be very honest, I think Chelsea have a future if the continue to stick with their current manager Mauricio Pochentino. Chelsea created more  clear chances than Manchester tonight but unfortunately, they failed to maximize their chances and that's why they left the Etihad stadium tonight without a win.

Tonight was a remarkable one again for Liverpool who won they game with a 4 goals to 1 and also seeing that Manchester city draw with Chelsea make Liverpool position more secured with the present accumulated points on the league table for this season, many times our fear for Liverpool is is how close Manchester City was to them and what man city is capable of doing since there are the defending Champion for the premier leagues.

But with the records from the clubs performance in this weekend, its now clear that Liverpool is on the verge of creating a new record this season, after they have suffered alot of set back in the previous seasons despite they efforts to meet up with such rating in the premier leagues.

Getting 9 points from these three matches is totally impossible and i think the highest point they will be able to attain is a 3 point from Manchester United luckily. When it comes to playing against Arsenal. Am sure that Arsenal will Manchester City for the second time without stress these time. I was unable to watch the first half of the English Premier League game between Manchester City and Chelsea but watched the actions of the second half in full and all I can say is that Chelsea's failure to win that particular game tonight was caused by their approach to the game in the dying minutes.
Manchester City as we all know has been the best attacking team in the English Premier League for the past one year and there's no way you'll be leading them by just one goal and decide to sit back and defend the goal instead of pushing them on attack. Thinking about how to improve it is better than regretting it, that's what Pep Guardiola must do in every next match. I saw Haaland frustrated in this match and several times he failed to convert his chances into goals, but I hope he will soon return to his best performance.

The next match is against Brentford, in that match Manchester City must win. There is no reason to lose or lose points, otherwise Liverpool will be more comfortable at the top of the standings. Today Liverpool and Arsenal both won their respective matches, they got better especially when Manchester City dropped points.

The game is becoming more interesting than I imagined and I quite agree with you that City really want to win this game to be in the title race but with the way things are going I'd want Chelsea to keep the pressure coming. City can absorb pressure but I don't feel this is the kind of pressure they're ready to face.

Truly the match is going the way I had predicted on my previous post that Chelsea has a big history with Manchester City because no matter how poor there performance may be but whenever they meet Manchester City there performance immediately improve, so actually I saw this coming but I never knew Chelsea will actually be the first to score Manchester City and even holding them to 1-0 till the end of the first half, funny enough Manchester City has the highest possession on the first half but still Chelsea was able to score the first goal but however I have a strong feeling that Manchester City will likely equalize on the second half because that's how there both matches normally end up, perhaps this match reminds me of there last meeting when everybody was thinking Manchester City could easily win Chelsea because of there bad performance but it became surprising to everyone with the way Chelsea almost outperform Manchester City by holding them to a draw, so that's exactly how this match will likely play.

I also noticed that whenever Chelsea come against the smaller clubs they do struggle but when it has to do with the big boys you see them (Chelsea) playing with everything they have and it will be as if they're that good but after that game you'd see them back to their poor performance.
The game ended in a draw 1-1 and I think Chelsea did very well, played without fear and if Jackson had converted that one on one I think it would have been 1-2 but still on still VAR would have awarded that last minute hand ball in the 18 yard box as a penalty so is better it ended this way (1-1).
Pochettino has every right to take all blame in this game for playing out a draw, as a coach you know you're playing against the best why on earth did you drop your best players on the bench and you start bringing them when the opponent have reduce 50% of the pressure they were facing?
To me I was expecting Pochettino to start his best and even let them play till full time, a player like Mudryk who likes running forward and also back to the defense line to help defend the ball, he has better options but he just killed the attacking force of Chelsea.

I'm quite astonished over today's game between Manchester City and Chelsea. How can Manchester City share a point with Chelsea, such a fantastic performance by Chelsea players today Liverpool will have more opportunities to win the Premier League title this time, because I don't believe they will be able to catch Liverpool in the top spot again with the way they are playing they don't have time to play weak games that will result in a draw or a loss. Guadiola was dissatisfied with the draw against Chelsea, and although they are at home Chelsea has the opportunity to score a goal in the encounter. True this is not over and there are still many opportunities in the upcoming fight, maybe this is unlucky day for Manchester City because previously we predicted that Manchester City would win easily but unfortunately not. I bet multibet on this match, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle with the over option and also City. unfortunately, the City versus Chelsea match thwarted my parlay bet. even though basically Manchester City played quite well, overall the team's performance was good except for Erling Haaland who underperformed. in fact, City controlled the game with 71% ball possession, had 31 total shots, 5 on target, 3 big opportunities, from a tactical perspective, City's game was much better than Chelsea. what a shame, in the end this match had to end in a draw. and Manchester City must share one point with Chelsea. with this result, City cannot shift the position occupied by Arsenal.
However, City still has one postponed match which they can use to reduce the difference in points from the teams above their ranking. likewise with the remaining matches, City still has a chance to overtake the teams above their ranking.

I was just surprised that Manchester City couldn’t win the match. Even after the first half of the match was played and Chelsea was ahead of them, I was still expecting Manchester to win the match in the second half, but the match ended in a draw. Chelsea played well in the match, they should have won the match, but just as you said, Chelsea lack strikers, which has been one of the problems they have been having right from the beginning of the season. They dont need to work harder but smarter. Learning from their previous matches to find a way to wim the reams that they were difficult to do so. Example is Chelsea. Arsenal had drawn with Chelsea in their last meetings 2:2. Although this time around i think they would win Chelsea if they will find a different pattern to approach the game. Losing should not be accepted by Arsenal if they would want to win the EPL title. Worst comes to worst, they secure a draw and bag the 1 point. It is better than losing all three point. I know mikel arteta has started planning on to defeat Newcastle because Newcastle had won them in their last meeting.

Liverpool are now sole leaders, Arsenal are 2 points behind, and City can overtake Arsenal by 1 point if they win their game in hand. I'm really looking forward to the end of the round (how these separate games on Monday annoy me) to see what the bookmakers think. Maybe Liverpool and City's odds for the title are already equal?
