Manchester has been looking for ways to penetrate Brentford but it is just not working out for them because Brentford is paling a defensive game against Manchester City and I was shocked by the kind of shot foden and akanji are landing on the goal post of Brentford isn't fear any club you are supposed to be scared of manchester city I don't want them to win so that it will be an added advantage to us arsenal fans and am already having a feeling that this game will end draw because Brentford is doing very well in defending and manchester city wants to win by all means, and this second half Brentford is already leaving there house and they also want to school.  and that is what we and Liverpool have been praying for the same thing because the moment they get to that first position it will be a problem for everybody, so we can only hope on brentford not allowing them to win this evening.  and brentford are attacking from the left wing and they might get lucky.

Well now it seems the job is done. Brentford was barely able to create any chances and I think this goal will be enough and it is more likely if Brentford tries to attack that they get finished off with a counter attack. Of course it could go the other way, but that's not very likely to me.

It is great to see that Haaland is slowly getting back to his old form and he once again scored the can opener in this game and probably the winning goal. Haaland is still leaving out a few of his chances that he would usually convert into goals, but still he deserves to be on the pitch. It is too bad when injuries take him out. It would be sad to see this amazing player spent half of a season as a visitor in the stadium.

I am looking forward to March as that will be an amazing month for anyone who is following the Premier League. So many great games with Manchester City against United, Liverpool and Arsenal and the FA Cup and the Champions League of course. Those are the months that Guardiola loves.

Halaad is back on his scoring mood. He has scored two goals but one was canceled. It was a difficult first half for Man city, but Halaad was able to find the back of the net on the 71st minutes of the game through a counter.

I am so worried that Man City couldn't score any goal again and would end draw in this match. But, after the first goal by Haaland, I am so excited again to watch it. And believe more that Man City will win the match. they are dominating all lines and they must score more goals again. Brentford shouldn't be the biggest obstacle for Man City to get the full 3 points here.

At least, Man City can return to take over the runner-up position again in the future if they can win this match. Their focus is quite divided, but it shouldn't be a big problem for them as long as they can be that optimal and that effective in their attacks, not wasting chances again and again.

Maybe Manchester City were not so bad, Brentford defended very well and if not for the defender that fell, I do not think that Haaland would have scored the goal because he has not been looking sharp in these recent games. Brentford at least deserved a point from this game. It is a crucial win for Manchester City making the difference between the three top teams to just be a point. Ivan Tooney for Brentford is good player, although he is not very fast, he has a good technique of using his body and strength well against defenders to win balls. Manchester City now in second with more important games coming.

This title race promises to be a very interesting one, Liverpool and Arsenal are currently in better form than City and if Pep's men are going to win their fourth EPL title in a row, then they have some improving to do, and i am pretty sure Pep knows that, their next fixture is an away game at Bournemouth and that as well would not be an easy game.

In the first half, Haaland had a nice opportunity and took it, and I believe it was the first time Haaland scored against Brentford. Manchester City are in second in the premier league table before Liverpool and Arsenal play this, and I think that Arsenal match can be a tough match game because Newcastle are trying well and they won't like to lose point now, but I believe Arteta are more better than Arsenal and they still have the opportunity to win the trophy this season because the league is not over, because Liverpool are only leading them with two point in the table.

Manchester city may have won Brentford in this match but they really had a tough time before Erling Haaland was able to find the back of the net in the 71st minutes of play and Manchester city only scored a lone goal to show that the match wasn't an easy one for them after they fired 11 shots om target and had a ball possession of 70% while Brentford had 30% but i commend Brentford's defense for not allowing Manchester city to overpower them and score more goals.

This is the more reason why I normally tell people that the premiership is the toughest league to predict in Europe as teams you feel they can't have any impact when they meet a stronger team are even the ones that shows more stubbornness, just imagine Brentford giving a whole Manchester city a hard time before they could win them.

It's obvious that the premier league table is becoming more interesting now between the top three teams of Arsenal, Manchester city and Liverpool as the gap between each of them in the league table is just a point difference so any outcome is expected between the three teams and for Liverpool, this is the most difficult time for the club because any point they drop now might put them at risk of losing their top position to either Arsenal or Manchester city so what they need now is to remain consistent and determined to succeed before they can get a positive result.

Basically, Manchester City dominated this match from the first half, but they always failed with a number of good opportunities. Brentford's defense was a big problem for Manchester City's attackers, then their lack of good finishing was also the reason why this match didn't have more goals. Haaland and Alvarez contributed to this important win, both being involved for Manchester City's only winning goal.

I have to say that the title is completely not safe from any team, shift is still possible but only for both teams while Arsenal are unknown. People actually thought this game was supposed to be easy for Manchester city they have forgotten that Brentford have always been stubborn whenever they play against Manchester city. I could remember they were the only club to do a double against Manchester city last Season. Today with city currently out of their own form I actually predicted it would be a tough game for them and it was. Halaand isn’t yet fit to be at his best and we all saw that with chances even missed last match against Chelsea.

Manchester city are now back into the title race with fellow contenders who are ready to challenge and make sure citu doesn’t do a fourth straight win of it. Liverpool looked somewhat more promising to snatch it but there constant team injury has sidelined some of the key players and it could hinder the progress, luckily Salah is back and maybe could help the charge for the title

Regardless of the number of goal that was scored, the win was worth it as the citizens reclaim the second place from Arsenal and also boast a threat to Liverpool who is currently topping the league ahead of City with a point difference. No doubt I expected to see more goals from the game but seeing how the Brentford team were able to keep a good defensive strategy despite City pushing attacks and strikes made me believe they are not going to concede much goals in the game because they were very careful. I think at this point, Pep will employ another fantastic statistics since his team is not doing very well this season like Liverpool and Arsenal but let's not forget the experience he has in this league and how he has dominated the league for over two seasons now i believe once pep is able to climb the table as leaders they are winning the league again.

Manchester City have had a busy schedule recently because they have to catch up on their match deficit, starting with the first leg of the UCL match against Copenhagen, then Chelsea 4 days after and the upcoming match with Brentford. Even though their schedule is busy, the bookies still give them small odds, so far they have got @1.17 on Rollbit.

Since they really need 3 points here to keep up with Arsenal and Liverpool in the PL title race, I think they will win, not sure they can get a win with a 2 goal difference but at least they will get 3 points.

Liverpool's hold of the top position looks shaky at the moment and the reason is the injuries you mentioned. They have less tournaments to compete so I guess that helps them too. I still think City has a better squad depth than LFC but we'll see how this goes. Maybe we'll see the gap to widen in the next ten games.

Manchester City has made a mistake in the last match by just playing a draw so this time they won't repeat it we know that Manchester City wants to take over the standings so they have to win all the remaining matches including today's match. I have to say this will be an easy win for Manchester City and they will shift Arsenal in the 2nd position then wait for the right moment to shift Liverpool. If Manchester City won today then they are only one point adrift behind Liverpool this means that the opportunity is still there and if Manchester City lose today then they will end.

Furthermore, Before you start to assume that Manchester City will knock Arsenal out of second place, I think you have to wait and see what the team can accomplish against Brentford.

Every assumption came to reality brother, Manchester City are never going to let that 3pt slide after the draw against Chelsea and do you expect that last minute pressure to just go like that without producing a goal? No, the thing is that Man City are still struggling and the little clubs will do everything possible to stress and frustrate them till they break and even if they're going to win it will be difficult and it will continue like this till they either lose to a smaller clubs or one of the big boys.
As for Arsenal they're waiting for the right moment when Liverpool and Manchester City will drop point because as it is I don't feel Arteta will lose any game till the end of the season. City against Arsenal will be a cracker and I can't wait for those two to knock horns.
