You're right, I don't think Liverpool will be able to hold onto the top spot in the standings with the players they have available, if their injured players don't return in a few weeks. Manchester city currently with 59 points, Manchester City and Liverpool are separated with one point, which is not safety for Liverpool. However, it's not as though they can only lose their position to Manchester City, if Liverpool lose any of their games, Arsenal will pass them in the standings. We all know how strong Arsenal is right now they can defeat any Premier League team. I think Klopp should hope that Mohamed Salah with the other key players can return as soon as possible. Because their absence will effect their performance.

I said earlier that Liverpool can't stay at the top of the Premier League table for long with their current squad. If Liverpool's injured players are not yet back before Liverpool finishes playing their next three matches in the league, either Manchester City or Arsenal will be at the top of the Premier League table.

All these setbacks are bound to happen to any team in the league and the only difference that it makes in these teams is how they are able to manage these injuries of which I think Liverpool have really done quit a good job and they are really doing well at that too  and with the way the league is turning to one can vividly say that have all the possibility and potential to hold on to that 1st place slot.

I agree that those are tough matches ahead for Everton this coming month. Getting four or five points from that can be considered as a good result already as that could help maintain or even widen the gap between them and Luton. Their schedule in the next few matches is a bit troublesome because West Ham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle are currently ahead of them in terms of results even though in terms of strength West Ham is still comparable and they can still try to get points by maximizing Newcastle's matches which until now have not been too good but still they are still below their opponents.

I can understand what you mean here. It will be difficult to play against strong teams in EPL if many Liverpool players are injured. Liverpool still have some big matches against Man City (March 10), Brighton (March 31), Man United (April 7), Tottenham (May 4), and Aston Villa (May 11). There is a chance for Liverpool to lose points in these matches if they won't play with their best lineup. It is sad to see many Liverpool attackers got injured, and some of them have no clear time for the return.
