Have you given up hope that Liverpool will win the title this season?

I myself am still not sure if Liverpool is the team that will win the title this season.
In fact, Manchester City will be the winner of the championship trophy even though they are now below Liverpool.

I no longer read parts that I skipped because injuries and other obstacles are part of the competition process to win the championship.
Whoever can get away with this challenge will be the one who will emerge victorious and Manchester City has the mentality to win this season.

The problem is, if for example the injury is only one or two key players it will at least not be a big problem because after all, the injury suffered by Liverpool's key players is very much at least there are 9 main players who are injured. I just heard that Everton's appeal was successful and they were only deducted 6 points from the previous 10 points now Everton has risen to 15th position with a total of 25 points while staying away from degradation. In fact, from the last six seasons only Liverpool have managed to be a good title challenger to Manchester City . Because after all, when Manchester City managed to get two consecutive titles, in fact Liverpool were able to win titles on the sidelines of Manchester City's good dominance, until finally Manchester City managed to get three consecutive titles. Talking about Liverpool, this week Jurgen Klopp's team will play a match that seems easy for them. even though they were playing away from home, Nottingham Forest was not a strong team to beat Liverpool. however, in Week 28, Liverpool will be challenged at Anfield by the Premier League champions, Manchester City. this match will be very decisive and might also benefit Arsenal. even before the match is met, Liverpool will play several matches in various competitions, namely the FA Cup and Europa League. Likewise with City, they will play several matches in different events. while Arsenal only focuses on Premier League and Champions League matches.
Well, the competition will get tougher every week. moreover, the Premier League only has 12 matches left until the end of the season. City, is one of the teams that has a higher probability of retaining its title. Manchester City even has a chance to beat Liverpool in the next meeting, but that doesn't mean that Man City will easily beat the Reds in the next meeting. well, for me, this competition is still very exciting for us to participate in until the end of the 2023-2024 season.

We have about twelve games left for each team, so I still believe the league is wide open for any of the teams to win and not disregard any of them as not being potential of the league title.

All these setbacks are bound to happen to any team in the league and the only difference that it makes in these teams is how they are able to manage these injuries of which I think Liverpool have really done quit a good job and they are really doing well at that too  and with the way the league is turning to one can vividly say that have all the possibility and potential to hold on to that 1st place slot.

I agree that those are tough matches ahead for Everton this coming month. Their schedule in the next few matches is a bit troublesome because West Ham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle are currently ahead of them in terms of results even though in terms of strength West Ham is still comparable and they can still try to get points by maximizing Newcastle's matches which until now have not been too good but still they are still below their opponents.
But indeed the reduction of this penalty at least makes some good improvements of course in terms of mentality and enthusiasm they have because after all with the return of their 4 points after the verdict of 6 points obtained it is enough to make them breathe a little relieved to stay away from the relegation zone.

I said earlier that Liverpool can't stay at the top of the Premier League table for long with their current squad. If Liverpool's injured players are not yet back before Liverpool finishes playing their next three matches in the league, either Manchester City or Arsenal will be at the top of the Premier League table.

I can understand what you mean here. It will be difficult to play against strong teams in EPL if many Liverpool players are injured. Liverpool still have some big matches against Man City (March 10), Brighton (March 31), Man United (April 7), Tottenham (May 4), and Aston Villa (May 11). There is a chance for Liverpool to lose points in these matches if they won't play with their best lineup. It is sad to see many Liverpool attackers got injured, and some of them have no clear time for the return.

Manchester City and Arsenal may get the advantage with this situation. Man City is possible to beat them in matchday 28 if Liverpool plays with weak lineup. Man City will return to the 1st place if they can beat Liverpool. Arsenal also can get the advantage if Liverpool keep losing the points, so Arsenal and Man City probably will compete for the title until the end of the season.

TBH, I really hope the injured players will recover faster. So Klopp has enough players to put on the lineup.

The EPL title race is not easy as it seems, we become confident when we're in the last days of this competition. Liverpool are competent for a winning against their forthcoming oppositions. They're not taking any chances but we should not be pretty sure because there are presence of other outstanding teams in the league. We're talking about the fierce qualities and high pace competition that will be pulled by these elite teams. Arsenal and Manchester City are there and they won't hold back until they meet up with points against Liverpool.

I believe everyone is clearly seeing what's happening this season and compared to last season, this season is totally different and if anyone should ask me I will say Manchester city is the least team in this competition between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city. City boys started with enough energy this year especially when Kevin came newly affect his injury but now I'm no longer seeing the force but let's just say they're preserving the energy against Liverpool. There's no time so any team can take any little opportunity given to win the tittle. In essence this is not the right time to fully judge until one of this team lose points.

I don't understand the little term you said in this case because looking at what is happening now I don't think it's too ethical to say Manchester City is like that especially with their form that has returned after several players recovered from injury making them now in second place with a difference of only 1 point from Liverpool.
Manchester City do have problems especially in defence because looking at the comparison of their goals conceded this season and last season is now almost close because last season they only conceded 33 goals and now in the half of the season which leaves more than 11 matches now Manchester City has conceded 26 goals but in terms of probability for the trophy they are still very much able to get it back.

Indeed for now Liverpool are still at the top but with competition like this we certainly know that becoming champions is still a little complicated because the pressure received is still possible for Manchester City to be at the top.

Because Arsenal is really performing very well this season and they are really ready to win the league, people are thinking that what happened to Arsenal last season will repeat itself this season, but Arsenal might end up surprising everyone.

Wow, Haaland has scored 5 goals in today's match, where he performed quite brilliantly in today match because from the early minutes he was able to pose a threat to Luton and it didn't take long for the first goal to be scored. I think Luton really has to suffer shame in front of their fans because Manchester City really drowned their hopes in today match. Apart from that, in terms of play, Luton also managed to play well, but still their opponents' strength was much stronger than them, so there was no effort from Luton to suppress Manchester City.

In another match, Newcastle united also faced quite tough resistance from Blackburn where the temporary score was 1-1. Liverpool has so many good reasons to play one of their best seasons ever. I think the party they will have at the end of the season might of unprecedented intensity. What an era this was with Jürgen Klopp and I doubt that anyone Klopp would be staying for almost a decade with Liverpool back then when he left Dortmund. I think he could have probably continued for however long he would have liked to. Even during times that have not been as successful (like last season), the whole club supported him and never allowed any doubts to occur that they stand behind Klopp. What a cool story and now he wants to finish it with a bunch of titles.

It's too early because they still have dozens of games left in the season. But it is not wrong to give predictions based on their conditions. And I'm not really sure Liverpool can maintain their position even though they have the mentality to win the Premier League.

Arsenal and Manchester City are there and they won't hold back until they meet up with points against Liverpool.

City just walloped Luton Town in their FA cup fifth round match, that should give them a boost in the EPL, they haven't been flying in the EPL and even if they have not conceded in their last two EPL games, they have only managed to score 2 goals, one in each game. Having said that, this weekend is the Manchester Derby and irrespective of form, it is always a game to look forward to as any team can step up and win it, City ran out comfortable winners in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, but i reckon this one would be tougher, though i think City would just edge them to the victory.

After United, for City it is: Liverpool, Brighton, Arsenal and Aston Villa, i think these are the games that would define their season and determime if they would be EPL champions for the fourth time on the spin.

There's no way Liverpool can increase the gap between them a their rivals Manchester city when City are winning matches, Liverpool has been more opportuned than city this season because city has not been at their best in the league this season so probably Liverpool deserve to be like 6 to 9 points ahead of city but with the current difference between the league leaders Liverpool, City and Arsenal, I believe the competition is very open and any drop of points among the teams the other will be ahead and Liverpool will be disappointed once Pep team gets ahead of them because they aren't dropping points till they are crowned the champions for the third consecutive times so it's better foe Kloop to keep winning to win title before leaving Liverpool or he steps down for another club like Manchester city to take over.

Your right about that, Manchester City have had a lot of lapses this season especially with the injuries sustained by both Haaland and de bruyne, because the dou's absence left them in a very devastating situation.  at this point with the winning spree Manchester city currently on now, I believe they are trying to recover for lost times. So if Liverpool  does not sustain this current tempo,  they might just give way for Manchester city to win the title for the third consecutive time because looking are the way things are, the title race is still very open.

Guardiola actually doesn't take defeats lightly, he aswell doesn't even accept to concede a goal in any of the matches he's boys are playing. Winning is something Manchester city usually wants to see almost at the end of every game but then it's almost not possible you win every single game in football you play because there are times uncertainties do happens, sometimes ago Manchester city was was weak because they had some injured players which happened to be their key player. Liverpool has got a very good form this season especially recently regardless of the challenges they suffer recently they are still able to put up a fair performance.

Manchester city and Liverpool has got a slight difference between them by point and they both especially Liverpool needs to keep winning to maintain the difference so they can be able to win the League title by the end of the season, Manchester city will seize every opportunity they see to stay at the top of the table.

It is very difficult to win every match consistently in the Premier League. Because most Premier League teams have strong squads. Liverpool are now at the top of the table, but they are only 1 point ahead of Manchester City and 2 points ahead of Arsenal. So if Liverpool lose any of the matches, the team will likely drop to third place in the table.

I am looking forward to the Liverpool vs Manchester City match on March 10. Liverpool are going to face Nottingham Forest in their next match. And it will not be difficult for Liverpool to win this match. And if the Liverpool team is able to defeat Manchester City in the match on March 10, then the team can strengthen the top position of the table. But if this match is a draw then maybe we will see Arsenal team at the top of the table.

We no that is difficult for a club to be very consistent in there wining but although there are some clubs that still have a very good and consistent wining record. However I can't wait to see how the match against Liverpool and Manchester City will look like because is going to be one of the toughest match on this premier League seeing how the two elephants will meet each other, however in as much as Liverpool has been very consistent in wining majority of there matches but I think Manchester City has an upper chance of wining the match because they have been looking for every possibility of Liverpool losing any of there matches so that they can be able to enter the first position, so actually that match will be an opportunity for them, so they will put there full squad on that match so that they can outperform Liverpool.
