In essence, perhaps Chelsea's decision not to fire Mauricio Pochettino and choose to retain Mauricio Pochettino, might be the right choice. Despite Palmer perform very well, I'm not happy to see his unsportsmanlike, he force himself to take penalty since it should be Madueke. Referee whispering when Madueke fell, not when Palmer fell. Palmer also pushed Jackson away, Chelsea need to give punishment to Palmer in order to control his ego, if not he will become Mbappe v2.0

He has been the penalty taker for the club so i don’t see how claiming his penalty right is unsportsmanlike, i blame Madueke and Jackson for their childish behavior trying to take the penalty from Palmer because he is already on an hattrick just so they can be on the scoresheet. Why didn’t they drag the penalty from Palmer in crucial moments like against Manchester United or in big games like against Arsenal, they don’t have the nerves to drag it in such situations so why drag the penalty from the boy in easy games.

I think Madueke and Jackson are just silly for not wanting Palmer to meet up to Haaland in goals when he is just a gaol away, other teammates would have gladly set up goals for him to score just to challenge for the golden boot but for all i think the coach has the largest share of blame here. When working with kids you tell them what to do and how you want them to play and not just let them do whatever they please. Madueke and Jackson really disappointed me yesterday and most fans will start hating them for that silly behavior because that’s just what sterling did and end up missing it.

Palmer proved himself by playing well and it proves how worthy he is of the penalty kicks and if Madueke and Jackson wants to prove themselves they shouldn’t be dragging penalties, they should be dragging the team to the top 4. Score goals and show up when it matters the most so that people will appreciate you and not cry over penalties.

It is time over due for Chelsea to be performing the way they did in the match between them and everton, though i never expected much goal to come out come from that encounter but such is football, though the current form of Chelsea better compare to everton, when you look at Chelsea display yesterday, you will agree with me that they deserve the winning  they got in that match, they were always going for more, they created more chances and utilized them as well. In the aspect of Chelsea fluntuation in performance, that is normal.

So far Chelsea's losing record is better than Newcastle or Man United who are ranked above. Chelsea are on the move, they need everything to develop. The win over Everton with as many goals was enough to make them look good. But indeed in the last 5 matches Chelsea have never lost. Maybe they are in the stage of returning to being a team with good stability. But I was a little surprised when Chelsea got a penalty. There are at least 4 players scrambling to take it. Actually, this incident doesn't need to happen, this makes the players' relationship look not good. LOL.

Those players were fighting to take the penalty kick, because they see it as an easy means of scoring a goal and record their names in the goal list, but I was not happy with such behavior. The reason why is because, assuming Chelsea is losing or drawing the match, they will not ha e that gut to drag who will play the penalty, rather they will pipe low for Foden to play it.

Chelsea won a weak club yesterday doesn't mean that they are doing better than Newcastle and Manchester united, because nobody knows what will be their performance tomorrow, and on what position, they will end the league. I do not know why humans  especially Chelsea fans, after a once in a while victory, will come out and start boasting of the inconsistent Chelsea since last season till date.

Situations like this are not sexy and they tend to tear the dressing room, I wonder who captains the club currently, because there's no strong leadership to look up on.
Why fight over the penalty when the spot kick taker for every game didn't had over the ball to you. They should do better and they should also know that Cole Palmer's got his eyes for the highest goals scorer award. They should try to make sacrifices. Yes I understand that Madueke needs to score to boost his confidence.

Everton has been point deducted from time to time, I don't know if that has helped demoralized the but Everton is not too much of a bad team..

Yeah Chelsea won't get relegated but Chelsea will play worse without Cole Palmer, him being one of the top scorers now along with Haaland means he has a good record throughout the season with Chelsea, a team is not dependent on one player where Cole Palmer is on fire but the other players don't support then it's the same.

For me, disappointment might come to Chelsea, I'm not so sure Man City will be disappointed or lose, but with Chelsea recently winning a big score then maybe they can score even if they have to lose in the end.

Palmer has really helped out Chelsea, anytime i saw him on the the pitch i only see two players playing which are Palmer and the rest players, in times of praising his efforts or contribution is to early to judge his performance because he is just starting but he is shown a great player in the future, his consistent performance has proven that, Palmer has recorded 10 goals and 3 assist in their last six matches, Cole Palmer hat-trick has make him scored 19 Goals in Premier league and 24 goals in all competitions this season, currently chelsea have move to 9 position in the tables and have 31 game and Manchester United have 50 points and have played 32 matches, it has been long when Chelsea lose their match and if they can continue and also improve on their performance they will make it to Europa League zone.

Chelsea has indeed had an inconsistent performance this season, but if you look at their recent performance, it seems they are starting to find their rhythm, and it also looks like they have pretty good morals. These type of weeks are exactly the reason why City has managed to win so many titles in the last decade. I feel sad for Everton seriously. Any team can loose a game but the manner of this defeat is very worrisome. None of the players looked interested and certainly didn't look capable. There was no atom of confidence and self belief. I think the points deduction is really affecting this team badly. Things are just getting from bad to worse and the couch doesn't seem to have any idea any longer to rescue the team. The effects of point deduction is there couple with terrible squad but the work rate and effort is not there at all. Everton was once a wonderful team with wonderful fans and I believe they can get over this menace as soon as possible.

As for Chelsea, they put up a wonderful performance with an incredible scoreline. That is the kind of result you get when you play players at their appropriate position. Pottechino has a lot to learn from that match if he really cares. Caicedo played his best game yesterday because he was free. It simply means that Enzo and Caicedo is a mismatch formation. Jackson still has a lot to learn as regarding his decision making in the box.

By the way, Madueke and Jackson deserve to be punished for their childish attitude yesterday against Palmer. That was a sign that Pottechino failed to instill discipline in the team and the players have no respect for him. Very shameful from a team like Chelsea.

Everton who were saved with a point or two from being relegated last season, started off the season quite on a very high note but little did the know their high tempo will be calm by the FA with points deduction. Some points about 15-17 points have been deducted from them in total and that keeps them on the brink of the relegation zone again.
 
 ⁠This deduction of points has really eaten deep into the team’s morale but yet they still need to try to keep fighting as that’s what they have to do to still remain in England Top Flight League, the EPL next season. Their performance yesterday showed a team that’s already giving up slowly and that’s not the mentality they need at this point.

 ⁠Some major changes needs to be done especially by the coach to keep up the team’s fighting spirit. Though Chelsea too were pretty good with the ball and off the ball yesterday as ypu can see all the players played their roles very well and that’s one thing Poch should pick from. His formation yesterday was apt and I think going on with that formation, the team will sure be able to finish up in 6th or 7th.

 ⁠Using 2 of Enzo, Gallagher and Caicedo and using Palmer as a 10 is what’s needed rather than playing the 3 of the aforementioned players together as that makes the midfield stiff and not being fluid like it was yesterday. The penalty incident wAs a bit awful and I think the coach should be able to address that before it gets out of hand. The team should be seen helping Palmer get the Golden Boot and not seen doing that as you can Remember Sir Alex Ferguson always making sure the players help Ronaldo increase his goal tally.

These type of weeks are exactly the reason why City has managed to win so many titles in the last decade. They are not doing anything extraordinary, they just managed to beat Luton Town, which is as ordinary and expected as it can get, nobody would have expected them to lose to Luton, so it was an expected win.

However, suddenly they are going to win the title, in a week they just simply beat Luton, how? They got a tie against Liverpool not long ago, they failed to win that, and then they got a tie against Arsenal too, failed to win that too, all very recently, but beat Luton and became leader, how? Simply because Liverpool and Arsenal managed to lose to teams that are far below their level and now they are chasing City.

It's not just about beating Luton, but look at the results and/or great efforts made by Manchester City throughout this season. So, if for example Manchester City does not get good results throughout this season, then even if Manchester City beats Luton, because they have been bad throughout the season, then Manchester City will still fail. So, of course you can't just come to a conclusion about beating Luton and then Manchester City being at the top of the table, that's ridiculous.

Because after all, Manchester City has had a big effort so far this season even though previously Manchester City was behind by Liverpool and Arsenal, but Manchester City still had a big effort even though Manchester City played without Bruyne before. So, because of the good efforts that Manchester City has continued to make throughout this season, in the end Manchester City managed to return to the top of the standings, and this is not just about beating Luton. LOL
