Mathematically, Aston Villa still has a chance to appear in the Champions League and they were lucky they didn't lose last night against Liverpool. Now the competition is so open between Aston Villa and Spurs where the two teams will fight for a champions league place with a very small difference in points.

I didn't expect everything to be decided until the last match and currently Spurs are slightly favored considering they have 2 matches remaining and Aston Villa only has 1 match remaining. But it won't mean anything if Spurs can't beat Manchester City today and therefore they really have to get 3 points from Manchester City if they want to return to the Champions League. It won't be easy considering that it is through this match that Manchester City can lock up its EPL title again and we will definitely be surprised by the results later.

We can assume that today will be the most decisive match for Tottenham, after which they will still have chances, or everything will be over. The difficulty is that City is also a very important match in which they only need to win. So for Aston Villa this is good and the fact that yesterday they were able to play with Liverpool in a draw also gives them an extra point, perhaps which can be ultimately be decisive. But it seems to me that City will be able to win today, Tottenham is not a team that plays important matches well.

There is nothing left for Tottenham and I see no competition between them and Aston villa except if they win their both matches and Villa to lose their last game but the odds for Tottenham to make out such result is very low which means they would start to show working right from Manchester city to defend their opportunity of making it to the 4th position. My bet is already on City to win Tottenham but peradventure if City should lose then Arsenal are already tied to the title breaking their long years (21 years) of not holding the Premier trophy.

this match has a lot to do with arsenal than what Tottenham Hotspur would gain if they are able to Manchester City. If it where possible for the gunners to add an extra player to the Tottenham Hotspur team, they would have done so as they obviously need this win more than the way Tottenham needs the win. All arsenal fans will be rooting for them but you know what? Manchester City is totally equal to the task. After Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur in a very dramatic and embarrassing way, I don't see how they will be able to face the Almighty Manchester City and expect to get a win from the match. It is very obvious that Manchester city will win this match, Manchester city has all it takes to win Tottenham, I have been following Tottenham  lately, I find out that the team is not in a good shape, the performance of the team is very poor and with their recent games I don't see any possibility of them winning Manchester City.
Manchester city don't joke when the season have reach this level, so as it stands now the league is more important to Manchester city than anything, so giving Tottenham such chance is very slim, this match determines if Manchester city will lift the trophy, I consider it a work over for them because they will apply every force within their reach to make this come through.

The most interesting result of this game would be a draw because then Manchester City could still save the season if they score a ton of goals in the last game and outcompete Arsenal in goal difference. That would be exciting, but I doubt that's what it will be. Manchester City will play brutally efficient today and Tottenham is far from their best condition this season, especially in the last five or six games or so.

But anything can happen in a game as Tottenham is still a quality team of course. It's not like the Manchester City win is set in stone yet. But I can literally feel how Guardiola is preparing his team. He is going crazy and making them ready for this challenge.

I don't know why many people believe that Tottenham Spurs can beat Manchester City, I wonder where they will pass to score Man City and win the game. Tottenham's performance right now is not strong enough to beat any tough opponent, they struggled to win against Burnley, a team that has been relegated, I was expecting them to score more than two goals against Burnley. However, the Spurs are going to host the match tonight, but I'm not confident with their games, they are just like the average team against Manchester City. The reason why many people think that they are strong enough to stop Manchester City is because of the outcome of their first meeting at Etihad Stadium.

So true. This is what i have been seeing here. Many people looked like favoring spurs to win the game. Literally, manchester city is stronger compared to the ethereum. It sounds impossible for totenham to win against manchester city soon. This is a crucial game for manchester city.

I strongly agree with Pep's statement about the title race against Arsenal i meant totenham's match gonna be the key point here. I meant that winning the game against Tottenham is critical to City's chances of winning the Premier League caused by it's gonna . Only a delusional player would think of Spurs winning Manchester City. You know what these guys actually want? They want Manchester City to lose so bad, they wish they never go ahead of Real Madrid to win the Champions League because they are afraid they will win another treble and unluckily, that slipped out from Manchester City but you see this Premier League, nothing is going to stop them from winning this match because they don't come close.
