Yes you are right that relationship between players and coaches is very important for team success. People in charge like board and management are important too but it is players and coaches who actually play games and decide who wins or loses. Chelsea is good example of this. They have a lot of talented players but they have not been doing well. I also think great coach like Ancelotti Guardiola or Mourinho could make big difference for Chelsea and Manchester United. It is interesting to think about how these teams would do with different coaches. I hope they can improve and compete at high level. Way players coaches and management work together is complicated but it ia clear that everything needs to come together for team to be its best.

Ten Hag's current task at Manchester United is not easy. Because in this phase his reputation as a coach is really at stake. Because I'm sure, if for example next season Ten Hag fails to bring Manchester United back to being champions or into the top 4 of the Premier League. Instead of thinking of hiring a new manager every season, Manchester United or Chelsea should think of hiring a quality manager. Pep Guardiola or Ancelotti are in charge of two different clubs at the moment so these two managers cannot take charge of another club even if they want to.
I will mention Zinedine Zidane in this case because he is also a manager with considerable experience.

I'd say Pep and Ancelotti may have failed at Chelsea. But, it's a bit different at United. Im concerning about the club policy, and in chelsea, there is a very strict policy for the coach. This may be preventing even Pep or ancellotti to bring a success for chelsea. Meanwhile, manchester united has less less strict policy than chelsea.

The club policy in chelsea made club signed various coaches to handle their squad. And, for the last, neither of pep or ancellotti will ever think to join in united or chelsea.

The name Ten Hag's exists in the Premier League because of the trophies he won in the previous two seasons, Ten Hags won a trophy that other managers were unable to win during their periods. Ten Hag also had something wrong, and we must blame him, Manchester United did not have many players, but Ten Hags always had misunderstandings with the present players they needed to strengthen their squad. Sancho for example, had an issue with the coach and refused to apologize, while Ten Hag did not want to give him a chance to play among the players, if I'm not mistaken, he almost had a misunderstanding with Garnacho last season. This team is performing at its worst, and I believe Ten Hag's goal is to strengthen the team rather than fight the players.

On the other hand, Manchester United's management has not bought enough players to improve the team's results. Absolutely right, these guys will never agree to work with the club if it cannot fulfill all their demands. This is the high league of coaches who value their reputation very much and they simply will not allow themselves to start coaching a team in such a state as Chelsea or Manchester United, or the management will have to almost completely update the squard, which implies huge expenses on transfers, which few will agree to. I don't think it's possible to get this Chelsea squad into the top 3 in 1 season. Chelsea's situation was very shaky. Performance was unstable. However, Pochettino did his best to strengthen the squad and bring stability to the performance. We saw an improvement in Chelsea's performance towards the end of the season. However, Chelsea could not qualify for the Champions League or the Europa League. Chelsea management might not have sacked Pochettino if Chelsea had qualified for the Europa League.

Whether or not Chelsea's new Enco will be able to strengthen this team is uncertain. But I would say Chelsea management should let the coach work independently and not change the coach in atleast 2 seasons. Changing the coach so quickly has such a bad effect on the performance of the players.
