I have the same thoughts as you but I know for such that it isn't going to be easy for any club to triumph over Manchester City next season because they always seem to know their games and always find a way to merit their efforts with effective delivery in their tactics and gameplay. To win Pep's Manchester City, you need to be intentional from day one and not allow too many mistakes by losing games that ought to be simple to win because you've underrated the efforts of the opposition. I have my doubts about Liverpool because a change of manager can have a significant impact on the team, so there are doubts there. I also feel that Arsenal is the team most likely to win the title next season from Man City. Man City continues to win the Premier League title in 4 consecutive seasons and yes, that is a new record in the Premier League. But I doubt they will win the title 5 times in a row again. I think there will be something different next season. If Liverpool don't change coaches, maybe I hope Liverpool will win the title next season. But the problem is that Liverpool have changed coaches and I think next season will be a season full of adjustments and adaptations at the club. What makes Liverpool will not be optimal next season.

With the way everything just turned out, I don't think I can really vouch for Liverpool actually retaining the same form though as their has been a big change in the team and whether we agree or not, jorgen kloop leaving that club will definitely affect them and if they are not careful  they would plunge into the setbacks that other teams do encounter whenever big changes like this has been made.

Well, as much as I definitely will want to agree wit you, let's trust that the club know exactly what they are doing, last season's premier league season was a very tough one where they managed to climb to the top but later lost it to other club.
So, let's just believe that what ever decisions they will be making now will be in efforts to make the club much better and prepared for the coming season.

Because we have seen Arsenal's consistency with Arteta in several seasons, always almost winning the premier league title. Last season, Arsenal was only 2 points different from Man City. Meanwhile, in the 2023 season Arsenal will be 5 points different from Man City. Which means that last season Arsenal got closer to winning the title. Arsenal under Arteta has developed some qualities and maturity in the sense that they have stoped to concede goals unnecessarily and the team is now able to create and convert chances which has build their confidence as they are now runner up in the Premier League for two consecutive seasons.

I am also surprised that Manchester united was unable to win mediocre team and could not even draw the match but went home defeated. I know that the junior boys were the ones that played the match but it would have being better if United won the match to save good records from now before the new season starts.

However, the result of the match does not show that United is weak because it is just a friendly match and have nothing to do with the main squad performance. I believe that there will be a lot of improvement in the team performance next season and United might finish at top four next season because most strong clubs just changed their coaches.

I will be reserving my money on Liverpool game until I'm satisfied with what Arne Slot is going to be cooking for us this season. I have not watch a single match he supervised and coach but I have watch some of his recent highlights in tbe Championship and he did well, I'm sure he will want to do better here but with the way Premier League is becoming tougher is why I'm reserving my money until atleast a month. I will be happy atleast to see Manchester City winning all the matches, it's going to make other teams feel what they were doing when others couldn't win anything for the season. Look way back how Manchester united, Chelsea were dominating the Premier League back then only to become the laughable clubs that hasn't won Premier League in a long time. Even though the match was not that important, Man United defeat to Rosenborg in the pre-season opener still received the spotlight, considering that Ten Hag squad is one of the Premier League elite clubs. We know that Ten Hag starting XI in this match is dominated by young players, because the players who took part in the European Championship and Copa America have not yet fully returned, but they should be able to end the match with a draw.

It is true, the pre-season tour aims to maintain players fitness ahead of the start of the official competition, and this first defeat cannot be used as a complete benchmark for assessing Man United readiness to start their journey next season. Do you guys watch this game? I watched it, and yeah, Ten Hag's team needs time to build their chemistry. The result wasn't bad. But, they were against a mediocre team. Yes, it's actually true and I also share the same sentiment as you bro, you can't judge Manchester united on their performance in a friendly fixture, because most of the top players are not available and even at that, they are playing that game to loosen up and get fit, so the results is not that important for now, the most important thing for the Manchester united team to achieve now at the beginning of this preseason is to gain fitness and gaining more understanding between the new player signed into the club and the rest of the team.

Shall I be honest? Friendlies are not real games to be taken seriously and as such you can take it anyhow and if you saw the starting lineup of Man UTD, you'd know they weren't really interested in winning as the only senior players in attendance were Rashford, Wan bissaka, Johnny Evans, Casemiro while the rest were academy boys and to make it worse, these senior boys were all replaced in the second half yet the Rosenborg side found it difficult to net a goal. It would have ended in a tie had they not gotten the goal I'm the 90+3 mins of the game.
 For me, many people will say Man UTD could not win a game as simple as that, but what you'd ask yourself why Erik didn't use his major players; that's because he's not only saving them for the next game against Rangers, but I feel most of them haven't returned from international duty and you'd agree that Rangers are more of a threat than this Rosenborg side.
