This will be the transfer that will make Manchester United a much better team, a team that could be in top four for a while, a position that they really need with the amount of money they are spending. This club once was among the highest income clubs of the world, and they screwed it up by being not so great, they need to get back there, and their defense is their biggest issue right now.

I understand that they bought Zirkee, but Hojlund wasn't that bad, whereas they lost Varane, and they still pray to god that Maguire plays decent whenever he gets the chance. They should have fired/sold Maguire already, and yet instead of doing that, they are still giving him some time, that is just not normal.

I believe that the best United can do right now would be buying defenders like that, Tah is a great defender and he will definitely help United concede much less goals, Onana probably won't be as bad as last season neither, so combine those will make a good return. This of course will cost a lot of money, and they already spend a lot, so spending a ton on yet another player will be a trouble for them, but this will be worth it, I mean I would sell Antony and put whatever I made from that into this transfer.

The pre-season league or friendlies are nothing but a means for the coach to evaluate and also experiment with the squad they have at the moment, but if we look at who they are facing should be a shame for Manchester United at the moment, honestly before I thought the club was from the German second tier league but after I did a search on the goggle it turned out that Rosenborg is a mediocre club from Norway,  the defeat should be an evaluation for Ten Hag to be able to improve the quality and performance of their game later even though they in that match relied on young players and second-tier players in last season, but they should be able to at least get a victory from a team like Rosenborg considering that the quality of Manchester United players is still better than that owned by Rosenborg.
Currently, ten hag has a lot of work that must be fixed immediately in order to compete next season in the league, even though the match is only a friendly match, but it can actually be a benchmark for us to see how good the strategy and game technique applied by ten hag.

You have mad a good point but keeping the players wouldn't necessarily cause them not to getting any better this new season, rather if they resolve the issues on ground a s it has to do with strategies, tactics and coach players relationship, then its very possible they can begin to get some gradual improvement such that before the end of the season, they will be able to have made good results. I don't think keeping the same players of last season will stop Manchester United from improving with their performances because these same players are quality footballers who are obviously not playing at the peak of their strength. I don't know if you noticed how Jadon Sancho improved significantly from what we were seeing at Manchester United immediately he rejoined Borussia Dortmund on loan last season. Personally, I feel Manchester United's problem is majorly tactical and not the players abilities which is why the club can perform better than we've seen in recent years of the club manager Erik ten Hag can introduce a style of football that'll bring out the best from the club players. There's been some additions to the team and I believe they'll improve next season.

With this news about the Argentina players on the racial abuse, I think Chelsea need to take drastic action on Enzo Fernandez's act very serious because from all he said he's against it but my concern is why involve yourself on something you say you speak against? If FIFA is going or planning on what action to take on the whole Argentina squad I think each club that have all the Argentina players should punish them for that act. With the heat going on at Chelsea since this issue came up some players have unfollowed Enzo concerning the matter at hand and I think the dressing room of the Blues is not going to be as happy and united as it was, it would be worse if he returns to the club that's if he hasn't. And what coach is that ? I believe Manchester united still retain ten hag as their coach despite all the rumors and threat about his sack during the end period of the season but all that changed when he actually won the FA cup for them.  But for the Rosenberg game, I don't think I would hold that performance as anything because most at time these friendly aren't really the form that the club will stride into when the major league itself kicks off.

I agree with you on this, sometimes it takes time for a football club to adapt to a new coaching style of a new manager, I think Liverpool may find it very difficult to scale through next season, although we know them to be a good team, however, lets see how events unfold now that a new manager is fully in charge of the team, as for arteta, i think he is a good manager, his team performance last season was good despite that they were unable to win the trophy, Arsenal will have to figure out how to maintian their lead once they are toping the league table in other to win the English premiweship title, although we can't dispute the fact that as far as the English premier League is concern, Arsenal remains one of the major contenders in the league but in as much as we don't know who will lift the trophy next season, I still beleive that Manchester city is the best team in the English premier League and can still win the trophy again this time unless arsenal will have to prove that fact otherwise next season.

Everyone have their system of coaching and the team have to learn to follow the new coaching strategy that the new coach is coming with. The case of Liverpool and Chelsea its going to be difficult one for them next season since they are adopting new way of playing it will take a little time for them to fully master the new way of playing. Sometimes it is usually not that way because with a new coach they might become more on fire and it will be difficult to quench because i remembered then when we got a new coach that is when our game changed and am talking about arsenal and sincerely arteta have been an amazing coach to us. Arsenal actually struggled but they are still in the process of regaining balance and I just have a strong belief that we are going to do better. Anyone can top the table the most important things is winning the trophy which my hope is been restored that we can win it, arteta just needs be serious with our signings and from their we can make good advances. Everything is going to be a plus very soon, I trust arsenal that much.

Manchester United should be able to win the battle against Rosenborg, it's just that in this pre-season match, clubs usually only warm up their players before actually playing a full season of competition. Apart from that, there are several scenarios that coaches carry out to measure their players apart from experimenting with the systems, tactics and strategies that they implement. When they say pre-season games, some coaches are just not taking it carefully on how they play it, they make some substitutions they won’t have done if it was in a real season game in preseason games just to get a grasp of how the game could turn over with that new addition to the squad in the field.

You’re right that a spade should be called a spade but they shouldn’t repeat this same mistake with smaller clubs when the seasons begins and also same when facing the big teams in the premier league. The premier league might still be toughest league but with the good strategy employed by your manager, you can as well prevail ahead of other teams in the league when applied well.

So naturally our expectations from Ten Hag in the 2023-24 season were high. But Manchester United's performance has deteriorated badly as we have seen it. You make it sound like he just came in to run the team. No, he continues to lead the team and he knows these mistakes ahead of time, but he can't do anything about them. Even in a match against such a mediocre team compared to MU. We'll see what happens over the course of the season, but I don't think it's going to end well

With the help of Ten Hag, we got to see Manchester United perform well in the 2022-23 season. Manchester United was third in the table. So naturally our expectations from Ten Hag in the 2023-24 season were high. But Manchester United's performance has deteriorated badly as we have seen it. We have seen Manchester United's defenders playing badly. Even the performance of the attacking players was very erratic. ten Hag's match strategy was not good, Manchester United's understanding between the players was not good either. So I don't think this team will show any surprises next season.

I also don’t believe in Ten Hag, he is not consistent in his performances and he do have internal problems with players which is not a sign of a good manager.
Last season, Manchester United’s performance was good in the beginning of the season, but towards the end of the season due to some wrong decisions, the team performance went down due to injuries as well, but with all the money spent to sign the wrong players in the team, I think they should have signed better players that will bring progress to the team, but Ten Hag prefer to sign his former players which the Premier League style of play has became difficult for them to adapt.

If Ten Hag didn’t perform well next season, I will suggest he should be sacked before the end of the season so that the team can get a better coach that brings glory back to Old Trafford.
