What does he want to brag about? What has he achieved that he want to brag about actually, i have not noticed anything different since his arrival other than the team performance becoming more and more unstable with time. Both the fans and management are not convinced with his work so far so I don’t think he has anything to brag about, winning two trophies is good but the overall performance is not so good, the team lacks consistency so how is he even able to compare himself with the likes of Guardiola. He still not up to the level he thinks of himself yet, if he is able to take United back to their glory days then maybe he might get close.

But at least Erik Ten Hag has indeed proven that his arrival in the first season at Man United brought quite good results at that time. Because in the season before Ten Hag's arrival, we know that Man United could only get 6th place in the 2022 Premier League standings. And then when Erik Ten Hag arrived, he was immediately able to bring Man United to 3rd place in the standings, namely in the 2023 season. It's just that last season, that is. This is not something to be hateful of him about, he’s definitely talking about the number of trophies he has won since he joined Manchester United. No any other team’s coach have won more than him since he joined the premier league than Manchester City’s coach, Guardiola. I am sure that’s where the comparison is coming from and not by finishing in the top ranks of the league table or a position that gives qualification to the champions league every season. It is good to hail yourself for a job well done and I can see that this is where the self praise is coming from.

Two trophies in two seasons is a good record but the poor performance of the club due to injuries was what will make his achievements look like it was a luck because his team were not in their best form last season and they were unable to qualify for UCL next season.

I believe we will see the best of Ten Hag next season because there are new fresh young players in the team currently and this should be an advantage for him to prove to the world that it was lack of players that caused those poor performance last season which made them to finish 8th position.

Yes Manchester United have definitely not been the club they use to me be since the departure of the legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, so this doesn’t have anything to do with Erik Ten Hag alone. In the past two years that he is been year I think the first year on United perspective was a successful with the club going back to the elite competition which is the champions league and then the second season which was last season was definitely not the best of Seasons but he still manages to cough out a trophy. Going by this stats it is easy to say par Guardiola he has done better than other managers since his arrival into the club.

Eric Ten Hag have tried his best to have one those two trophies during his time as the coach of the team so far. Every team needs trophy and it was because of the FA Cup that he won that made him to have a contract extension with the club. Without that, he would have been kicked out by now. I don’t see his bragging as something bad but he should try and win the major trophies too so that when he brags next time, no one dares to question him and would be scared to look him in the eye to question his speech. Ten Hag cannot be compared with Guardiola, in terms of baldness, Guardiola's head is cleaner and smoother than Ten Hag, in terms of ability to handle a team, Guardiola is much more experienced and accomplished with the club he handles. What I can see for now is that Ten Hag way of training is not too bad and as evidenced by the trophies he presented to Manchester United and Ajax when he was still in the Eredivisie, it indicates that he is one of the coaches who is quite good in terms of technique and game method.

The only thing wrong with Ten Hag is the approach to building chemistry with players. If only he could change a good approach with players in order to build chemistry and communicate well then Ten Hag could be one of the coaches to be reckoned with.
