Manchester City is unable to win a pre-season game, Guardiola has lost two of their last trial games, and they lost in a penalty shootout against Barcelona today. I believe that pre-season games do not predict how well a club will perform during that session, but Manchester City is the top club in the Premier League and has won the league for the past four seasons, so can we assume that this is how they will perform next season? Because they did not win any of their preseason games.

No, you can’t use a preseason game to judge how a team will perform when the league begins, it’s very far from that so that comparison will not work. Preseason is used to test the ability of some players and how they can adapt to a particular strategy the manager plans to use for the coming season, it does necessarily means they’ll continue playing in that manner when the league begins. I have seen before, like in the last preseason games, Chelsea were playing well but when the season began, they were no where to be found not until when they started coming up towards the end of the season to finish in the first half position on the table.

Manchester City that’s you’re seeing are still the best team in the premier league and they stand the best chance for the premier league title again. Arsenal, Liverpool are also potential contenders for the league title but with what we were able to record from each team at the end of last season, it shows that Manchester City still stands the best choice for the title and will now just let go easily to be defeated by any team for the league title even next year. I think this is a very important factor for them to determine how their next season strategy will be and they’re already putting down and will effect where changes needs to be made in the club.

That shows that his injury is quite severe and I'm not sure if Leny Yoro can play a full season with Manchester United next season. It could take longer and at least he will be out for more than 2 months. Manchester United should have given Leny Yoro a long time to train to strengthen his physique and considering that he is still very young, 18 years old, Manchester United should know that he is a priority for the long term. Again, Manchester United has never stopped experiencing bad luck and if it's like this, is it worth it if Leny Yoro is valued at 50 million euros and why not follow Real Madrid who offered him at 30 million euros or less considering that the possibility of injury is also something that cannot be predicted.

I wonder how most of this big teams get to look for this small teams to play preseason games with and not go for teams that are of the same standard with them to test their strength more. When they play in the preseason games, at some point they play with few big teams and play more with smaller teams to test their strengths. That’s why I don’t really believe on the result of the preseason games to determine the success of a team when the main season begins. There is a lot of uncertainty even while playing with this small teams, they sometimes lose to them which makes it unpredictable the strength of a team even before the season kicks off. These are bad results and I hope each team learns from their mistake.

This is a very sad thing for Man United because I'm sure they have high expectations for Leny Yoro but the injury dashed their hopes for the time being. Man United have to learn a lot from that incident and they have to be especially aware of other possible injuries because things like that are what made them bad last season. Luckily the transfer window is still quite long, so Man United still has enough time to get another new center back.

As far as I know pre-season matches are not matches to determine or evaluate their core team to face the competition in the league. Pre-season matches are usually influenced by certain factors. There are top teams who play with teams that have made agreements with them that will give them benefits or profits. Or because it is a match from their sponsors that they have to play. And IMO usually in pre-season matches top teams do not play their entire core squad. This can be seen in the Man City vs Barcelona match or other matches and you can see that in the starting XI most of them are young talented players.

It will indeed be a pretty good match where matches like this are definitely awaited especially Barcelona and Mancehster City are 2 big clubs. It's just that for betting in a friendly match I'm still not so sure this will be profitable.

We know that in the end friendly matches are sometimes only used as an option to test players and formations which sometimes in this case victory is not something that really has to be obtained because the goal is not victory.
But even if that's the case there are some possibilities for big club matches such as victory will also be sought despite friendly matches because after all sometimes when big matches like this there is a situation where the club wants to show the best so that victory can be sought. But I personally prefer to watch rather than bet on matches like this.

There's something about preseason matches. Sometimes the coach will not care about winning or losing, but the most important thing will be if he has tried a particular formation and it is workable or not. This is why these matches does not in most times reflect the true status of the club.

It is likely that Pep will start his first team and in the second half he will make changes. Big matches as this also enters into record of h2h, ranking and the rest. That is why coaches will not easily allow defeat. So, the bet above is fair if Barcelona will also not take the match so seriously.

The final result wasn't too bad at all considering it was a draw as it was still a successful friendly. In addition, with this result, Pep certainly knows what they have to do for the young players they have because for this friendly match we can see some young players are quite capable of being appreciated about their performance in the matches that are run.

A little regrettable indeed, even though for next season Yoro has become one of the players who is quite awaited at Mancehster United, but bad luck befell him and 2 friendly matches had to be paid dearly with injuries that could have been long enough.

Yoro wears a cast and is seen using a clear protector, indicating that the injury could have occurred for a long time just like Mount last season.

Actually  preseason matches are supposed to feature players from youth academy of the big clubs and get them tested to know if they can be drafted to the main squad, the issue is not about whether they play a strong team, the manager just needed to access his squad particularly new signings and how they would adapt with the other squad players and also if their a need to try some old players switch position to a new role thus playing any team irrespective of their opponent strength doesn't matter, that is why some those big teams often lose their pre-season  for instance example Man City and Chelsea.

Emile smith getting the kick isn't really that shocking, he could still develop better if he gets some minutes and plays and then find himself a team that will play him later on. I am not expecting him to stay there for a long time, he is a good one enough to show himself as talented and we are going to probably see him do a lot better there, we just need some time and we could make that work.

I believe that we are going to end up with some results that will take a while, and EST could make that work somehow.

Arsenal is also not looking for just old and veteran players, they are looking for players that have experience, which means that if you are a 24 year old, but been to UCL finals twice, you are still good on their book, that's why they got some of the City's old players too, Jesus was like what 25 26 years old when he got there? preseason games Actually, good instead of sitting not doing anything While  the Season  is over They need to play outside There  training ground At least if they can play with other clubs, they will even understand their self better while playing with an opponent. This initiative is actually good since it’s going be beneficial for both clubs. And losing during preseason Does not mean they actually lose when the actual season starts because a lot of people have misconception about preseason and the preseason I don’t actually have a precise  way of describing factors that actually used to set up this match, but whoever came up with this idea, no matter what they consider before putting in these games is actually a good one. Chelsea current Center attackers :

All of them are completely trash players, I had no idea why Chelsea didn't sell all of them.

They don't have any center strikers, that's why sometime Nkunku, Sterling or Palmer play in this position. Only Jackson is decent, but he should be a second striker since he's not good enough.

Chelsea really need a striker, instead of looking for potential players or one season wonder, better to sign a consistent player like Osimhen.

Armando Broja currently was linked to AC Milan and probably this team will bought him this summer and David Datro Fofana want to leave Chelsea so that's why he through his agent will look for new clubs and it says Galatasaray are thinking possibility to bought him and about Lukaku everybody know currently he was linked to Napoli this because Napoli new manager Antonio Conte personally want Lukaku to joining Napoli this summer

I think i have to agree with you that Chelsea is striker crisis because so far they don't have sharp striker and it proven from Chelsea statistics last season that only Jackson who performing well even at that time Mauricio Pochettino have to played Cole Palmer as centre striker but luckily Palmer can able to performing well on that position and he is Chelsea top scorer in Premier League with 22 goals and next season this shouldn't be happend again so Chelsea have to give their priority to gets world class striker

For players like Neymar Jr. you can be able to predict whether he will get injured or not upon sign up. LOL. But the essence why I made my earlier statement is because as a player, while you cannot completely avoid being injured as a player but you can control the level at which you get bashed in the pitch or the level at which you fall a victim of injury. Players like About Diaby is the most injury-prone footballer in the football history having 1747 days injured while Arjen Robben, Wilshere and Vincent Kompany also top the list too. While positions like Kicker are the least prone to injury, positions such as linebacker, running back and defensive back are highly prone to injury. While these positions also play a role in the possibility of a player to get injury, a player also contributes to his or her chances of being injured.

These pre-season is startup for the coaches and the club's. There's more accomplishment and adjustment for most of these coaches because they've everything to enchanced the capability of their clubs. I don't like this idea been brought up by these elite clubs. They're fighting for the signature of players that are tender and immature for the big tasks ahead.

Well  what else can we do Leny Yoro who so proud of, turned out to be a burden on the United team. Luckily he injured during pre-season, because if the league had started the criticism would have been much more painful. The odds are indicating that Osimhen will end up at Chelsea except the deal then go otherwise but currently as from what I know, Chelsea are more interested in him than Arsenal. Osimhen will be a perfect signing for Chelsea, I love his eagerness to press and obtain the ball and he also can make good fortunes with assists that will be giving to him compared to Jackson. Who told you that nothing will change as ERIC TEN HAG is still the manager of Man United. First of all, why do you think that the owner of Man United still gives ERIC TEN HAG one more chance to coach the club, is because they know his capable of improving the club's performance this coming season.
Now you should know that club friendlies  is important or essential because it allows the young talented young players  to get ready for the upcoming season, also it allow the manager to pick their starting eleven for the upcoming  next season.

No one bargained for this and we weren't expecting it. I have never read anywhere that Yoro is an injury player. When I heard of the news of his injury, I thought it was a mere injury. I was so surprised to see this picture of him in crutches. This is disheartening to behold.
Has Erik Ten Hang made any official statements about the injury, so that we can know how long to expect him back. Right now, I have no confidence in any Manchester United defender. It's looking as if they are all injury prone.
