The latest update on Leny Yoro's injury and it looks like he's wearing crutches until his leg has to be casted. That shows that his injury is quite severe and I'm not sure if Leny Yoro can play a full season with Manchester United next season. It could take longer and at least he will be out for more than 2 months. It's a shame why Manchester United made him a starter during the pre-season match, especially since the opponent is Arsenal so that hard fouls often occur unavoidably.

I wonder how most of this big teams get to look for this small teams to play preseason games with and not go for teams that are of the same standard with them to test their strength more. When they play in the preseason games, at some point they play with few big teams and play more with smaller teams to test their strengths. That’s why I don’t really believe on the result of the preseason games to determine the success of a team when the main season begins. There is a lot of uncertainty even while playing with this small teams, they sometimes lose to them which makes it unpredictable the strength of a team even before the season kicks off. These are bad results and I hope each team learns from their mistake.

Actually  preseason matches are supposed to feature players from youth academy of the big clubs and get them tested to know if they can be drafted to the main squad, the issue is not about whether they play a strong team, the manager just needed to access his squad particularly new signings and how they would adapt with the other squad players and also if their a need to try some old players switch position to a new role thus playing any team irrespective of their opponent strength doesn't matter, that is why some those big teams often lose their pre-season  for instance example Man City and Chelsea.

Emile smith getting the kick isn't really that shocking, he could still develop better if he gets some minutes and plays and then find himself a team that will play him later on. I am not expecting him to stay there for a long time, he is a good one enough to show himself as talented and we are going to probably see him do a lot better there, we just need some time and we could make that work.

I believe that we are going to end up with some results that will take a while, and EST could make that work somehow.

Arsenal is also not looking for just old and veteran players, they are looking for players that have experience, which means that if you are a 24 year old, but been to UCL finals twice, you are still good on their book, that's why they got some of the City's old players too, Jesus was like what 25 26 years old when he got there? But he had faced a lot of moments with City so he was a veteran according to Arteta.

You could be a 30 year old but never won anything, like Kane for example, and you would not be considered likely candidate. It's the wins that counts and not the age, still the same result for ESR who has not won anything, so it is not like that would save him.

As far as I know pre-season matches are not matches to determine or evaluate their core team to face the competition in the league. Pre-season matches are usually influenced by certain factors. There are top teams who play with teams that have made agreements with them that will give them benefits or profits. Or because it is a match from their sponsors that they have to play. And IMO usually in pre-season matches top teams do not play their entire core squad. This can be seen in the Man City vs Barcelona match or other matches and you can see that in the starting XI most of them are young talented players.

All of them are completely trash players, I had no idea why Chelsea didn't sell all of them.

They don't have any center strikers, that's why sometime Nkunku, Sterling or Palmer play in this position. Only Jackson is decent, but he should be a second striker since he's not good enough.

Chelsea really need a striker, instead of looking for potential players or one season wonder, better to sign a consistent player like Osimhen.

These pre-season is startup for the coaches and the club's. There's more accomplishment and adjustment for most of these coaches because they've everything to enchanced the capability of their clubs. I don't like this idea been brought up by these elite clubs. They're fighting for the signature of players that are tender and immature for the big tasks ahead.

Lenny Yoro's injury is concerning for the Red Devils, especially the headcoach, Erik Ten Hag. The odds are indicating that Osimhen will end up at Chelsea except the deal then go otherwise but currently as from what I know, Chelsea are more interested in him than Arsenal. Osimhen will be a perfect signing for Chelsea, I love his eagerness to press and obtain the ball and he also can make good fortunes with assists that will be giving to him compared to Jackson. Bad one for Jackson if the deal on Osimhen gets a good click, then he would be starting from the bench if at all he would have a good playing time or better they play him as a winger, with his pace maybe he can perform better there.

Now you should know that club friendlies  is important or essential because it allows the young talented young players  to get ready for the upcoming season, also it allow the manager to pick their starting eleven for the upcoming  next season.

Has Erik Ten Hang made any official statements about the injury, so that we can know how long to expect him back. Right now, I have no confidence in any Manchester United defender. It's looking as if they are all injury prone.

It's ridiculous to keep adding 1 more goalkeeper, why have more than 2? I am surprised by Chelsea transfer pursuit which can be said to be a waste of time and money.

Goalkeepers are young, the ones signed by the Blues. They're loaned out for experience and improvement of their abilities. Chelsea is one of the best club in the EPL and doesn't seem good to watch them not hooked up with the big standards.

Chelsea wasting money you say? Chelsea have players that are young, remember the poor form of Chelsea is temporary and there's nothing to worry about because room for improvement will be triggered. Todd Boehly doing his best to make solid plans for the future of the team, that's basically the reason he's going all in for the young players. These tender players will grow to become valuable and important for the club in the promising future.

Chelsea disappeared from the EPL because of a failed management approach. There have been five changes of manager in the last three years. In my opinion Todd Boehly is one of the worst club president in Chelsea's history. Soon after he bought the club, Boehly came up with the idea that there should be an all star game in the EPL. It was met with backlash and ridicule from everyone in the world who cared about football. The only player he brought in as a centre forward was Aubameyang, who had run out of batteries at Barcelona. What a ridiculous decision that was. That's why Chelsea struggled for goals at the start of the season and Boehly blamed Tuchel, the man responsible for the successful results in recent years. Instead of Tuchel, he brought Graham Potter from Brighton with his team for 25 million euros. Unable to get results from Potter and his team, Boehly continued to make wrong decisions.

Why do some people blame Manchester United for using their players in pre-season matches? If they don't use these players in pre-season matches, how will the head coach know which players are in good form? Sometimes, head coaches uses pre-season performances  to judge players to form a strong squad against the new season. So, I feel it is very important for every player to participate in pre-season matches. Injuries are not something we can predict; they can happen at any time. In fact, sometimes they occur during training sessions. What will happen will surely happen. For example, look at what happened to one of Arsenal's players last season. I think Timber just played for a few minutes, and then he suffered a season-ending injury.

If Osimhen finally goes to Chelsea it will be a great move for him and Chelsea club because they need to number 9 striker who will easily finish the ball in the attack. That was Chelsea's big problem last season because if Palmer gets the ball and gives to Jackson he messes with the ball most times.

With Osimhen, the attack force will be very strong and whenever there is a chance od scoring Osimhen will always do what he loves doing best which is finding the back of the net. EPL will be very competitive next season.

I don't find anything accurate about what you said about Osimhen agreeing to join Chelsea. Can you share the link you read to strengthen your argument. I saw in several news either on X or on Google that Osimhen only agreed to join PSG but there was no news that said that Osimhen agreed to join Chelsea. On the one hand, Napoli are linked with Lukaku and one factor hampering this transfer because Napoli have not succeeded in selling Osimhen.

Conte has made it clear that he wants Lukaku in the team and Napoli management will try hard to recruit Lukaku. Well, in this case, of course Napoli needs money to recruit Lukaku and that money comes from selling Osimhen. I think this drama will continue because PSG will not spend a lot of money to recruit Osimhen unless Napoli is willing to lower Osimhen's price.
