Ipswich Town 0 - 2 Liverpool FC

It was a very tiring game to watch in the first half in my opinion, Ipswich Town fans celebrated when the first half ended in a draw, they probably thought that with the draw in the first half they were able to deal with Liverpool and were hoping to win or draw. But unfortunately for them in the second half Liverpool improved their performance a lot and caused great danger to the Ipswich Town defense in the 54th minute and 4 minutes later Liverpool could have scored a goal, but Diogo Jota was unlucky, funny thing is that 1 minute later Salah made a good assist for Diogo Jota who scored a goal and 5 minutes later Salah scored the second goal. I laughed a lot at this sequence of events.

The first half was disappointed me to see how Liverpool has not yet found their rythm. But, yeah, that's a great win for sure. Though they always had tough to play the newly promoted teams on their home turf.  And some points that must be emphasize is that if Grav looked really good, and he has stepped up in that game. Diogoal is only warming up, and he showed he has potential. Salah is GOAT in this game, and no doubt he's one of best forwarder in PL. And last, Liverpool shall extend Trent's contract. He's still performing very well today, and deserve a new contract from Liverpool.

Arsenal started the season on a high note winning their first game with a 2nil victory over Wolverhampton. I wouldn’t expect anything less from a team that almost won the league last season. Liverpool and Arsenal are the only clubs in the EPL that can be said to be competing fiercely with Manchester City for the league title. The other big names Chelsea and Manchester United are on a building project for the future. I cannot bet on Arsenal to win the league because even if they are topping the league on the last match day, they might still not win the trophy. It will be nice for Arsenal to have something to show for their efforts this season, the fans deserve it.

I’m excited that the English premier’s league resumes today Friday. I’ve been anticipating for the first match of the season and I don’t know if Manchester United can beat Fulham today.
Both sides have gotten some players to strengthen their squad and they both have expectations in  what have to be brilliant season ahead.
Every club has their goals and targets. We know the clubs going for the top 6 spot for European football, some are for the top 4, for strictly champions league football, while 1-3 of them wants the league title .

The English’s premiers league will only have Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal challenging for the League title. Liverpool have been an old candidate of the top 2 spot before Arsenal joined the mix, and couple with their preseason form, I think they will challenge.

All fans are looking forward to the new season with optimism to see their team become the best. Manchester City and Arsenal are always strong candidates and they have proven it in the last two seasons. But Manchester United also made some updates to their squad and I still think the Red Devils will also enter the competition. The first match against Fulham is the beginning of Rashford and his friends' journey and victory is certainly their main target. I predict that Erik Ten Hag's troops will be able to get through the opening match perfectly.

Manchester City and Arsenal are currently the two best teams in the English Premier League and in the last two seasons, Arsenal have been competing hard with Manchester City, but the third-placed team was far behind either Manchester City or Arsenal in terms of points. What has happened in the last two seasons has no chance to be reversed in the next season the competition will be between Manchester City and Arsenal in the next season as well. Arsenal are slowly improving their performances as we saw last season. Last season I waited till the last match to write the result if manchester city in the last match had been defeated somehow but in 23-24 season instead of manchester city Arsenal would have won the english premier league title. 

But I expect Arsenal to win the Premier League title next season because they have been trying to win the Premier League title for several seasons and they have come very close and lost every time.

I don't see Arsenal winning the Premier League without a real striker" Arsenal must have a real number 9. They were the team that had the most touches in the opposition box last season but didn't have a "killer" who could take advantage of all the opportunities they could create. They can only rely on a group of strikers who are often hesitant in front of the penalty area such as Jesus, Martinelli, or Havertz. Defensively, Arsenal had the best defense in the Premier League last season and need them to continue that form in 2024-25.

The Gunners started the new campaign with a win that we all know was going to happen against a weak side Wolves who haven't been impressive in anyway since last season they started selling their best players and now they don't even have any idea if that can keep their place in the EPL but it was a good win for Arsenal. Arsenal have had a really good start to their first win of the season, they have certainly started brilliantly. Yes, last season Liverpool and Arsenal have a lot of competition between these two teams, moreover, Manchester City did not grow in competition between the two teams. These two teams are Liverpool and Arsenal as they were in the best form last season and this season I think they will play great in EPL to win the title. However, we can hope that Manchester United and Chelsea are strong enough teams, since it is the beginning of the season, we cannot predict so well. However, each team has started the Premier League quite well in the early part of the season so we can expect each team to put up an exciting performance in the competition.

Saw that I missed watching Arsenal's fast game. Arsenal started the season with a 2-0 win against Wolverhampton. Saka's ability to create chances on the right wing is amazing. The foundation of the team is still the same, this squad was very close, they will fight for the EPL championship with the same desire this year. We also had the opportunity to watch their new goalkeeper, Raya is a really good goalkeeper, it was the right transfer.

Saka ran of the show, but beside of him, you missed giving credit for havertz. Havertz is starting to help the club a lot. So, Saka and Havertz will likely be Arsenal's most impactful players this season. And i like Raya with his consistency since last season.

It seems Arteta did it right to get Raya as a permanent GK, but still, I'm questioning Ramsdale's future. It seems the summer window is a good time for him to leave. But, it wouldn't surprise me if he is trying to get back his place from Raya and decide to stay.

And, the only problem left in the arsenal is, the right side was overpowering the left. I hope Arteta will be fixing it.

We all expected a strong start from Arsenal, them getting so close the last two seasons, and then having a pretty decent preseason this time around. They also have long injury returns, amazing new players. All in all, Arsenal means serious business, and I'd say their missing out the title in earlier seasons were mostly unlucky, and some very tough days in the run in period.

But to decide who will be winning the league is like trying to bet on a horse race without any knowledge. Arsenal does have all that it takes, but can they win? Maybe we find that out in 3-4 months time, seeing their grit, passion, and mentality. But right now a lot of teams do look strong. We will be looking forward to the City - Chelsea game, which will tell us a lot about how the top investors in the league, and how they are faring. City... always looks a bit shaky. But they get their strong forward before you even notice. Definition of Consistency is Man City.

Traditionally, it's been difficult for Manchester City to play at Stamford Bridge. Last year, the match in London between City and Chelsea ended in a 4-4 draw. Before that, the Citizens secured narrow away victories against Chelsea, with scores of 1-0 and 2-1. The result achieved in the first half made Liverpool fans a little worried because the players were unable to score a single goal even though they were facing a team that had just been promoted to the EPL. Arne Slot who did not want to miss the beautiful moment in his debut match with Liverpool, immediately made a decision in the second half, he changed the direction of his team's game slightly to create more opportunities.
Two goals were scored against Ipswich Town by Diogo Jota and Mo Salah, Arne Slot was very satisfied with this result because he managed to get three points in his first match. Liverpool are trying to move a little further than the previous season to compete with Manchester City in winning the EPL title, Arne Slot must be able to prove that he is worthy of being Jurgen Klopp replacement.

Yes, I am referring to the same old meme. First half from Ipswich was wonderous, every PL fan were amazed to see how good that newly promoted Ipswich dominating the Liverpool midfield. I am a Liverpool fan and it hurt me to see how well Ipswich were controlling the game.

But the good thing about this is, we now know that Liverpool has a good coach, a person who does not take prisoners. He subbed off Quansah and brought on Konate, because he saw Quansah was struggling with Delap. Now that is what we want from managers, directness. That wins you titles, not useless aura, not crazy replies to reporters in press.

Liverpool has a lot to offer, but it will be even better for them if they buy a few players where they need depth. A new CB, a new controlling six, and possibly a left-back can strengthen the squad very well. Not much time left, so Hughes has to act fast.

Naturally, everyone is considering Manchester City as the favorite in this match. I don't think anyone wants to take the risk of betting on Chelsea. Because we don't know if Chelsea's overall performance has improved this season.

Their performance was just kind of poor, and Chelsea will be playing against Manchester City, which we all know to be a strong club. The chances of Chelsea winning the match is completely slim, and gambling in support of Chelsea to win is just a complete waste of money, because I don’t really know how Chelsea will be able to win the match with the way they played during the pre season, I know pre season matches shouldn’t be used to judge, but Chelsea used most of their players during the pre season, their case is different from others. Chelsea coach will have to build a strong squad, but it’s not really going to be easy for him, and it’s going to be a gradual process.

Chelsea team won any match against Manchester City in Champions League match in 2021. After that, Chelsea could not win any match against Manchester City. Even after 2021 we only got to see the decline of Chelsea. The performance of this group was very erratic. And so far Chelsea's performance has been erratic.

Chelsea's attack would have been stronger if Osimhen was in Chelsea's squad. Then there was a slim chance that the Chelsea vs City match would be competitive. But looking at the squads of these two teams at the moment, it seems that the match will be completely one-sided. I see no chance of Chelsea winning. Manchester City players will dominate the match. However, if Chelsea plays defensive strategy, then the match is likely to be a draw.

Chelsea faces a strong team in the opening match and this will be the toughest test for the coach because they have to face the Premier League champions in the opening match. In terms of quality, Man City are far more favorites to win this match, but I think Chelsea can hold a draw if they are able to play more consistently. Other big teams managed to collect the full three points when facing their opponents and now Chelsea and Man City will also play for three points.

Chelsea will try to penetrate to stop Man City's attack and if they don't play more pressing it will give Man City more freedom to attack. Sometimes defending fully when facing Man City can result in a lot of goals so the coach must be able to reduce the midfield so that they don't play the ball freely because the strength of the Man City players is very good in the midfield.

Bukayo Saka is slowly becoming experienced. Arsenal fans will expect more from Bukayo Saka this season. Bukayo Saka will be able to score more goals if he gets enough support from the squad players. Saka has this capability.

On the other hand, Kai Havertez is also an excellent player. But you are basically a midfielder. But Arteta used Havertz as CF in this match. He is not suitable for this position. Nevertheless, Havertz played well enough in this match. I would say Arteta should buy another experienced CF. If not, Arsenal's attacking performance is likely to be erratic in the future.
