Two seasons in a row and Arsenal have given Man City a hard time to get the league title and it has always been a disappointing end for Arsenal and the incredible midfielder Rodri is saying Arsenal are if the same level as Man City, we all know how Pep Guardiola always use words to make every team that gives him a headache from securing the title feel good, especially Arsenal and now we have Rodri saying same thing his coach (Pep Guardiola) would say. Is like when you're too covered with winning you say things to make the others feel important or better, can we say he (Rodri) is right about the Gunners being in the same level as his team Manchester City?
To me Arsenal still lacks that winning mentality, they always start fresh and strong and when is getting to the end if the season you see the Gunners dropping and losing points but with Man City is different, they start the season with a poor performance but when it matters like towards the end of the season you see them eating every team they come against, taking every 3 points they get their hands on, so I don't feel Arsenal are of the same level as the Citizens.

Manchester City has proven their worth, winning title after title every season. They have been consistent like no other their mentality is unmatched. Pep Guardiola is someone who knows how to address a dressing room, when to praise  someone, and when to pressurize someone to get the best out of them.

I don't agree with Rodri about Arsenal being on the same level as City, as they just lacked the so important mental strength back to back two seasons. When they drew against Southampton back on 22/23, and then when dropped points against Villa on 23/24, they lost the title to City.
 
Dropping points when it matters the most, that is something City never do, and hence they win so many trophies. This puts Arsenal behind City.

Well, I am as well aware that Chelsea buy players including the ones who will definitely struggle to have a play time but that will never be Osimhen faith if Chelsea eventually acquire him. No any serious team will pay money to buy a forwarder who is as good as Osimhen and dump him on the bench without using him. One of the Chelsea's biggest challenge now  is lack of a striker who can utilize their chances and convert them to goals. Osimhen will definitely fill up that gap if they succeed in his deal. As for Sterling, he deserves where he belongs because he has not impacted anything positive to their squad since his arrival.

Honestly Osimhen is a great players that even some of clubs like to sign him up into their team but unable get him due to the high demand from Napoli, but I think of the Chelsea really serious and make the deal possible they might able to sign up Osimhen so that they can get a players who can look for a goal for the in every match.

The academy team will definitely be demotivated and I hate this.

Finally, it's happening now. Napoli is trying to push Lukaku's transfer from Chelsea before the end of summer window.



No doubt, the bad loss to Verona is pushing Napoli to recruit Lukaku. Also, the decision from Osimhen forcing his way out of the club makes them want a striker desperately. This is a win-win solution for Chelsea and Napoli. The transfer market will end soon. So, they must complete Lukaku's transfer ASAP. I hope a deal can be made between Chelsea and Napoli, and Mr. Conte can pick up his son to join his squad.

Conte still wants Lukaku so Napoli must immediately push for this transfer even if it only benefits Chelsea, so it is useless for Osimhen to stay he will not have many opportunities unless he leaves as soon as possible.

Of the many Chelsea players, do you still believe Chelsea lack forwards who can turn opportunities into goals? As I have said earlier, most of the signings that Chelsea did in the last 2-3 seasons have been flop, some of them performed among which Cucurella and Cole Palmer are included. I don’t understand how Chelsea signed so many players and barely only 1 or 2 players turned out to be worth the hype and the price paid for it. They need to stop signing so many players and work with the ones that are already there. They have so many quality players and I am pretty sure if the problems that are existing internally are solved, these players will shine as well. I would say Arsenal need a stronger squad if they want to win the Premier League title. Arsenal's current squad is quite strong. The problem, however, is that if any player in Arsenal's squad suffers an injury, they have no suitable replacements. And this is why Arsenal have not won the title in the last two seasons. We have seen Arsenal's performance deteriorate despite any player in Arsenal's squad suffering from injury. And ultimately the team failed to win the title.

Manchester City have a lot of talented players in their squad. Even the bench team of this team is strong enough. Haaland was plagued by injuries last season. Alvarez played as Haaland's replacement. And he scored a lot of goals and assists. Arsenal should also add more talented players to the squad if they want to win the title. Finding suitable replacements for players. Pep is an action man, he has studied and bottle the Premier League and now has became the big boss of his era, it will take a lot of time and effort for anyone to build a credible team like him, Arsenal will come close but then your master will remain your master until old age catch up, I'm taking about Arteta been a side bro with him but I'm not sure if Arsenal has the mind and power to go above Guardiola right now, not by performance or by skillful players.

Arsenal are just trying to unlock the path to life the Premier League and if they do just that and are able to win one, there is going to be a break down of that bond of trophy all on Manchester City and people will begin to see Arsenal as threat to Manchester City but how they achieved that is something I'm not sure if Guardiola will let Arsenal have their ways so softly, he understand this game better than anyone to be honest.

There is a lot to watch for at Chelsea as they navigate a new season and a new manager it may take time to see how they can adapt to each other, Chelsea may have lost the first game but we know their opponent is Manchester City and Chelsea still have many games left. I still believe that Chelsea still have the ability to compete in the top 4 at least we will wait until mid season, are you sure Chelsea will get a ticket to the Champions League next season?

I am still not sure that Chelsea can get a ticket to the Champions League next season with their new manager this season, because some other teams in the Premier League are still quite strong so that it might not make Chelsea's path smoother and get a ticket to the Champions League. But on the one hand, I also want to see how Chelsea can bring themselves to that position because every effort from any team does need to be appreciated and also appreciated well especially by their own fans like Chelsea.

Chelsea may be the team that can surprise us the most this year. I think it's quite difficult to make predictions about them, I really can't predict where we will see them in terms of the Champions League or the League table. They have ba pretty good squad, but a good squad may not be enough to win matches. They must be more than that and be successful as a team. We'll see what they can do in the first few weeks

So far Chelsea's player transfer approach will clearly not benefit them in terms of team performance. They tend to be interested in bringing in lots of young players, while their performance at Chelsea has not improved. There are many players in the Chelsea squad who are young players whose experience and quality are not very good, but Chelsea seems to force them to come with a high price offer.

I believe that Chelsea has so far suffered high financial losses as a result of this transfer approach. They failed to achieve good results in various competitions, Chelsea don't even have a good chance of being in the top 4 of the standings this season. They change managers too often, but that doesn't have a big impact on improving the team's performance.

Arsenal agree £33m transfer of Mikel Merino with Real Sociedad star already agreeing personal terms on five-year deal

The Spanish midfielder is set to join the Gunners for a fee of around £32.6m, with £28.4m paid up front and £4.2m in add-ons.

Merino, 28 – a long-term target of boss Mikel Arteta – is due to have a medical ahead of signing a four-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.

Arsenal initially wanted to land Merino for around £25m but improved their offer after back-and-forth negotiations with Sociedad.

Manchester United started well with 3 points but they are not in this alone. We have a beautiful beginning for other clubs who have played well in their first games and emerged winners with 3 points. Brighton already leading at the forefront of the table followed by Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Brentford, Manchester United and Newcastle.

This shows how ready and competitive this league can be. Although it's too early to start analyzing many things, we still need to see more fixtures come up to decide who's ready for this round of season. While other elite clubs are showing their strengths, Chelsea have not yet given us the energy to compete strongly this year after losing their first challenge. Though Chelsea will be visiting Wolves on Sunday and we expect them to win that match to proof some level of seriousness.

It takes at least 4-5 days of matches to see a trend, in the first few days even the last ranked teams from last year can be first: this is absolutely normal.
I always find the start of the season of the various championships exciting, it's all a buzz. Then during the year I always go to focus on what interests me.

In the closing match of the week, we watched Leicester City and Totthenham. Totthenham played good football in the match but failed to win away from home. Jamie Vardy scored early in the second half and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. I’m not sure what the long negotiations counted for eventually, Arsenal still paid what Real Sociedad demanded for him that should at least been their player for a month now.

Merino’s deal was negotiable. I knew Arsenal would get him. I think if Real Sociedad did not sell him, they would have lost him for free next summer, because he informed them that he won’t renew. Plus he had  said his preferred destination was Arsenal.
So Arsenal had always had the upper hand in this negotiation.

Arteta was crucial in making him join. He has created a standard in the club, and people want to join. The team has been competitive, so yes we can’t remove Arteta from the picture.

One could judge their match with Leicester City as below average because they had all the time on their side and even the opportunity but they didn't look too confidence to take out Leicester City or could it be because there is this big hype about Leicester finishing as the Champions? If they are good, we will see in the future games but the performance they displayed with Tottenham is not enough for them to go far in this tournament.

Am wondering why Chelsea is still buy players because the players they have can be trained to perform better that will even be another way for them to actually safe money, and they should trying and improve the performance of the existing players instead of trying to go and buy more players to the ones they have already but it's only a suggestion at the end of the day the management will do what they like since they are always in the best position to actually decide. Osimhen Will be the one to decide what and how he wants everything to be if not I will personally not want Osimhen to go to Chelsea I would have love him to go to a Better club Chelsea is not in good condition, because for him to go their he will be ready to do a lot of work, and he might end up been the start player that Chelsea actually needs, good luck to what ever decision he makes, Osimhen is a hard working guy and he will survive any we're am sure of that.

Honestly, Chelsea still have many quality players.if Chelsea have a better and more experienced coach, those players' performances will change without taking much time before Chelsea get back to their good form. As Chelsea as team we know those days. But the reason why I think Chelsea still wants to buy more quality players is because I think the new owner of the club needs fast achievements, which I don't think will work like that. He needs to be patient a little bit before Chelsea can become a great competitor in the Premier League and in Europe.

Chelsea signing Osimhen may not be a bad decision because they need a very sharp striker. We all saw how Chelsea played against Manchester City if they had had a sharp striker in that position that day, it would have been a different story. But where I want Chelsea to concentrate is on their defensive line; I think they need some quality defenders.
