I still can't imagine how Rice was sent off for an offence that wasn't suppose to trigger a red card, the ref made a wrong decision on that very act there. Arteta need to secure his midfield more better just incase something like this happens, without Rice on the mix Partey wasn't active to cover the midfield and the pass to the goal of Brighton's equalizer was too cheap, Arsenal isn't a team to work with a red card and come out victorious without struggling to even hold on to the ball. Brighton must have come to the Emirates stadium knowing that the will be dominated most of the time by Arsenal, they just need an opportunity to punish Arsenal. Brighton's coach still playing same tactics as he did against Manchester United with the high defensive line and compressed space between defenders and midfielders so Arsenal does have the space to find a creative pass through. Arteta starting Trossard may not have been the best, he always looks better to me coming in as a substitute after studying the game. Lucky for Arsenal they have scored a goal, very important going into halftime.

Actually this was in accordance with my prediction that Brighton could at least score 1 goal but the problem was Arteta had to really provide a defensive strategy that strengthened Arsenal so as not to lose points or 1 point better with a draw.
The temporary score was 1-1 in the 70th minute and if Arsenal failed to maintain that score, this defeat would slightly decrease the players' confidence.

There are three games that I will be watching closely this week, one of them is the Chelsea vs Palace because Chelsea doesn't look that great so far and I believe that they are having some issues which means that they may actually have a chance to do something different, and because of that I feel like it could be something that could actually mean something this time around.

If Chelsea ends up losing that game, then it becomes something that will be considered a lot more important on the long run. Second game that I will be watching, will be just like everyone else on United vs LFC game, which should be a Liverpool win if you ask me and they are the better team but at the same time I feel like there is a chance that it could be a different situation all together if United ends up getting a win but I think United will not be getting a win and it will be either a Liverpool win or at worst case a draw, but I will bet on LFC to win that one.

Last one is Tottenham vs Newcastle, I still can't make out what kind of teams these two will be, it is going to be something that will take a while and I feel like there is a chance that we may actually see this situation to be changing, I have no clue which one will win.

As bad as this makes me feel, I just have to say that it's a disappointing end of for Arsenal, possibly no one expected that Arsenal will have trouble beating Brighton, but like you said, it seems to me that Brighton is coming from a different angle of play this season, they seem really troublesome, I think now I am beginning to understand clearly why they were able to defeat Manchester united in their previous game.

Arsenal should have won, the conditions made them chaotic & made them have to do more to get full points. Brighton's goal came after Declan Rice left the match, which is one of the reasons the Arsenal squad couldn't get what Arteta wanted. The game is over and there will always be something or someone to blame when we don't get the expected results, the point is that Rice was already issued a yellow card in the first half which should have made him to be less rough with his tackles but it's unfortunate that the center referee didn't take the offense likely as he gave him a second yellow card before flashing him the red card that resulted in Arsenal playing with a one man down. You already mentioned that Arsenal is not a team that could play with a one man down and survive in the game and that was obviously seen as the away team took over the game and made it difficult for Arsenal to get the 3points in the game.

Yeah this is an unlucky day for Arsenal even though they were safe in the first half and everything went wrong after the red card. Arsenal must accept the consequences of losing 2 points and of course hamper them in the title race. Another challenge awaits them in the next 2 matches against Tottenham in the middle of the month and against Manchester City, I can't describe how they fought at the same time as they were playing another important match in the Champions League.

For the next match I am watching Leicester City vs Aston Villa, in the last match Aston Villa was defeated by Arsenal and today still playing away but Aston Villa have a chance to win today. if arsenal can't work on winning a less threatening opponent like this they should forget about ever planning to win the premier league. With the way Brighton were losing possession on the ball if it was a team like man city that they played against, man city would have still won the match with a good margin regardless of the one man difference. D. Rice was damn careless to have even committed the foul that landed him a red card knowing fully well he was already on a yellow card. If man City and Liverpool win the match they have next which is most likely to happen they will stand top on the league with arsenal going to not less than 4th place. Every game matters and they don't still want to come to term with that, once you've lost a point in a single fixture, you're going to struggle too much before you can ever recover it that's if you can ever recover it.

To be honest today match between Arsenal and the Brighton there’s not joy for Arsenal, because i was not aspecting a draw form arsenal and indeed the Brighton lead the game to a draw after equalize with a wonderful goal; seriously all Arsenal fans was very disappointed this afternoon after the match announced in draw.

Although that the Brighton performance have much improved than last season and I was not believed, but now I have believe with that: their performances is not longer like before, I think today match against Brighton should be a lesson for Arsenal so that they can know how to get prepare for the team in their next match to avoid this kind of disappointment.
