Both the fans of Everton and Nottingham Forest must be having mixed reactions about their teams this season. Nottingham Forest barely made it to secure survival in the English Premier League last season but they have not lost a single game after 4 matches played and they even managed to beat Liverpool at the stadium of Anfield. On the other hand, Everton secured survival from relegation comfortably last season but they had already lost 4 games played this season and I think Everton are in deep trouble if the manager are still unable to fix their poor defense with a good solution.

The defense is nothing to write home about to be frank with you boss, the 4 players behind can't hold the ball with confidence and the man who plays the left back and sometimes the midfield, I mean Marc Cucurella, he can't deliver a better cross and he doesn't know how to give a better pass but marking and tracking back I can recommend him. Then the other guys Fofana, Colwill and Disasi, they don't have the quality of a good defender. Gusto is even more better than those 4 guys put together so I can't use these guys to challenge team like Aston Villa or Arsenal.
We don't need to talk about getting a striker because with the help of Felix, Palmer, Nkunku, Sancho and Neto they can get goals on their own, Jackson just need to be there to complete them 11 players and be running around like a headless chicken, he's a waste to me unless he start playing from the wing.

Oh mate you have really spoken my mind, tho you sound very funny but still making sense altogether, I thought I am the only one concerned about the terrible performance of Nicolas Jackson upfront, because he is just busy running around and wasting most Chelsea clear cut chances without making any impactful contribution to the team nor improving on his blunders... Then as for the defence, apart from Cucurella and Fofana, the likes of Colwill and Desasi are just a bunch of average defenders, they can't even do their main job which is defending, let' hope James or Gusto returns back from injury to stabilize the defense a bit better than the way it is right now.

And when some one like Mikel Obi tells him (Jackson) the truth he'll rush back and reply a whole legend of Chelsea in an insultive manner just because he scored a goal against a dead team Wolves, is like he doesn't even feel anything when he performs pretty bad or doesn't he watch the clips and spot out all his mistakes? Jackson is not ready to be anything close to a World class striker, I'll call him a clown on the field of play.
About the defense I think you want to kill the team completely if you want someone like James who is getting fat and slow to recover and continue from where he left off with the team.
James is also a problem in the defense of Chelsea, the Fofana doesn't know his left from his right and ever since Thiago Silva left I don't see anybody to take up that mantle of leadership, not even James, Chilwell or even that man they call Enzo Fernandez or anybody that's wearing the arm ban, the team needs a better leader especially at the back 4 to control their movement and correct them whenever they mess up because in every game they make so much errors and the coach isn't ready to do anything about it.

I don't really think is about Jackson, I feel whatever that is happening is highly tolerated by the club, an extension of Nicolas Jackson's contract till 2033 explains it all. However as for Mikel Obi I think he was only advocating for a better Chelsea team by pointing out the irregularities and mistakes of jackson, but instead of Jackson to rather improve on his performance, he saw Mikel's remarks as a personal attack on his person.  

I watched that Mikel's interview, the young man was just passionate about his former club not being a mediocre team, that's was why he was instrumental in helping to make sure the victor osimhen move to Chelsea was fruitful but it all ended in dead luck.
Nicolas Jackson style of play makes me remember Nicola Anelka when he was still playing for Chelsea, Anelka will miss like 10 chances to score and make use of just 2 chances.

Nottingham Forest have signed midfielder Elliot Anderson for £41.2m. Ward Prowse has also been included in the squad by Nottingham. Nottingham Forest have strengthened their defense by adding Milenkovic and Morato to the squad.

On the other hand, Everton did not take any steps to strengthen their squad. Everton have added Iliman Ndiaye to the squad to bolster their attack. Iliman Ndiaye has not scored a goal or an assist in 4 matches. Staying out of the relegation zone will be difficult for Everton this season.

Yesterday we saw the Newcastle vs Wolves match with the match ending 2-1 and victory in the hands of Newcastle, and I think it was a fairly fair victory because Wolves are a team that is not too favored, especially when compared to Newcastle. Eddie Howe's squad started the season quite well, they managed to win three of four matches without losing. Last season they finished in 7th place in the table but it looks like this season they will look different, most likely Eddie Howe will maintain their position to stay in the top four of the standings by any means to qualify for the UCL next season as they did in the last two seasons.

On the other hand, next we will see the Chelsea vs West Ham match, in this match I think I will favor Chelsea even though they will play away, because from what I see now they seem to have started to rise from the slump, last season Chelsea managed to finish in sixth place while West Ham was far below them, I can't be sure about the final score in this match, but the worst thing is sharing points.

Everton and Southampton stand out in the Premier League as two teams that have lost every game they have played. It seems like Everton will struggle a lot this year to avoid relegation because the way they have played has made me think that they are not at Premier League level. Nottingham Forest is a team that plays with quality. They managed to protect a goal against Liverpool by playing very good defense. Moreover, they managed to collect eight points in four games.

This is true Chelsea is still way behind Manchester City in defense and the midfield is still in similar state while the attack is okay only lacking a proper 9, Jackson is still very much unreliable.

This is the main reason I don't think Chelsea will be able to get a win this season against Manchester City, maybe a draw would be possible except Chelsea put on an excellent performance with the likes of Recce James and Latvia in the game, I doubt Chelsea would have a win against Manchester City.

They are trying to set a structure that's as strong as Manchester City's and so far, there's a serious change from the board level to player, they now have extra good hands in different positions infact the introduction of Ugarte has made the midfield more solid, you can see that their new signings have contributed to the goals and assists they've had so far, so what they need is for Erik Ten Hag to implement a working strategy that would enable them play beautiful football like that of Manchester City, such that when they're not leading in a match you'll enjoy watching them play and it's a good strategy that would help them win against their equals. As for inferior teams, I think Manchester United's squad depth is now big enough to feature other players when they play against them, atleast they can now rest their key players and start their younger talents or substitute players sometimes. However a working strategy that would enable them win consistently is very important.

As a footballer be ready for any criticism, is part of the job you signed for. Any player that doesn't take advise or correction can never improve and Jackson is one of those players.

Surely many would have thought that this match would end in a draw. Initially I also thought that it would be impossible for Arsenal to beat Spurs and Wolves would definitely also put up a fight to not let Newcastle get 3 points. However, after seeing the line up and formation of the two favorite teams, I became convinced that Arsenal and Newcastle were able to win yesterday's match. Arsenal really looked more enthusiastic with the contribution of players who were able to work together solidly and Newcastle also seemed to be starting to get the best contribution from Harvey Barnes, the midfielder who scored in yesterday's and previous matches.

Yes most of the matches end in a draw and I had a strong opinion on that too. But I also mostly expected Arsenal to be beaten and that's what happened. Arsenal won the match by scoring 2 goals. And Wolves will lose this match. Arsenal are a very good and strong and supportive team and most of the time you hear about them winning. And that's what happened in this match and most of the people were saying a draw but I also guessed but later I found out that the opponent is Arsenal so I wrote a win in favor of them and they will win the match. If they continue to play like this and try to win the match against Arsenal it is difficult to say because Arsenal have become a very strong team at this point.

Arsenal are becoming stronger and a win against Tottenham shows their improvement of winning minimally against strong opponents in Premier League. If they can maintain it, they will drop less points than two previous seasons and this means they will race more closely with Manchester City. From the match between Arsenal and Tottenham, we can see that Arsenal still lack of a good striker like Haaland in Manchester City. They are trying to cover this weakness with combined efforts from other players but in long run, this weakness can damage their chance in a race with Manchester City.

 Any day, any time, the best response would have been him quietly improving above his costly errors and start giving his club goals in every game, and that alone would shut the voices of his critics.   If Jackson was to play under Jose Mourinho he would have been made to sit in the bench in many games due to his poor finishing kicks and that would have made him concentrate energy on working on himself to improve quickly than having time to burst back to his critics..

Besides Arsenal, Newcastle are still two points behind City, but you see what the matter is, after a few rounds there is no team left that can keep up with City, and this is just the beginning. Newcastle often have big problems with injured players, if they do not get rid of this, then a little later they will fall behind City even more. Arsenal are still one of the most obvious contenders to stay as close to City as possible until the end, but now Arteta has a number of injured players, and this can become a problem if they do not return to action quickly. Odegaard and Saka are very important for the team, Zinchenko is also important for the defense, so these losses can be tangible.

Manchester City changed their game even more in the new season and from the beginning they went ahead in the title fight.
