Aston Villa’s loss in their first Premier League match came as a surprise to many, I myself didn’t expect Aston Villa to suffer such a crushing defeat against Brighton. As a team that finished in fourth place and won the UEFA Europa League title last season, a result like this is truly embarrassing, to lose like that. I really don’t understand what’s going on with Aston Villa, because their performance against Brighton was so poor that they lost 4-0.

They sold some of their key players so it would affect them for a while until the new players they bought blend in, the defeat was a painful one but it  doesn't mean that they'll have a poor season, fans can complain for a short while cause such start wasn't what they expect but a good win would make them forget they conceded four goals.

I now understand why Aston Villa suffered such a crushing defeat against Brighton, it turns out they sold several key players without replacing them with players of equivalent quality, which led to their poor performance. What’s more, the players they signed are only average, and some of them are even getting on in years. However, if this situation isn’t addressed immediately, it’s quite possible that Aston Villa will have a terrible season, and the fans will be disappointed throughout the entire campaign. Especially since the transfer window closes in just three days, and so far there are no signs that Aston Villa is set to sign any quality players to strengthen their squad.

City would not remain the same after the exit of coach Guardiola and that's a fact, especially after selling Rodri without a better replacement. But inspite of their last game, I would still predict that City would win today's game against Crystal Palace, though it would not be an easy win but a loss should be out of the picture.

Just hours before City 1.69 vs Palace 5.00 to kick off. I don't have huge expectation for them followed a luck win they got in the previous game. The way Maresca manages City is not even convincing me as a fan. Although Palace is also shite this time, but i don't wanna be overconfidence City to get an easy win.
They have signed so many new players, but still not integration showed by them. But i hope Maresca does something to secure three points. Playing Cherki, Bouaddi and Elliot together will be so good.

But still i believe this is gonna be a stressful game for me to watch. Nevertheless, i still have hope they to win the game, though it's not gonna be a cleansheet game. So is there someone else also betting on this game?

Fact, does it really matter? After dominating the game but lost at last, that's what I called beautiful nonsense, anyway I will have to give them their credit for that performance, because I can sense some sort of influence on that game, Chelsea is more influenced than Fulham so I can only say they took advantage of that, had it been it's some kind of any random underdogs teams, I'd say it would has been a win for Fulham based on what they played against Chelsea, but I'm expecting more of that from them in their next match.

Fulham played a remarkable match. It certainly cannot be said that he fought it to the end. Chelsea knew how to exploit the opportunities well, taking home three points, but overall it was a fierce but balanced match, Xabi Alonso can smile about his debut match.

Man City performed below expectations in their opening match, though they did manage to secure three points despite having to fight until the final minute. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace dropped points away at Everton. Honestly, I doubt Palace can beat Man City. But then again, football always holds surprises. This match will most likely be dominated by City, even though they are playing away from home. In terms of squad quality, City remain the favorites, but they must not underestimate Palace.

Manchester City performance against Bournemouth is not good as people expected, but if you look at currently Manchester City you will give them their flowers for winning the game and got the three points, Bournemouth is not a small club, Bournemouth has been one of the clubs that gives top clubs in Premier League a tough match, sometimes they defeat top clubs in their home ground, and the season just started and some teams find it difficult to win their first game.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are still on the same level of winning the league this season, i will not use the first game to judge any club performance, Arsenal that won the first game of the season also had a poor performance in preseason, i believe the other teams that have poor performance last weekend will bounce back and perform better.

I don’t think anyone should be disappointed by Manchester City performance against Bournemouth. Manchester City always struggled to win against them. Last season, they had just one win in their previous two matches, so I expected them to suffer this way. Many individual expect Bournemouth to face difficult challenges this season since their previous manager has left the club, but they still remain as strong as they were last season.

The season is still early, I don’t think we should rule any of these clubs out yet. Many people have confidence that Arsenal will win the league title again, after just one game of the season. But from what I understand from the first game of the season, this season will be more interesting than the last season. Arsenal may face difficult challenges to defend the title.

Manchester City really struggled to win that match. They came back in the final stages and won 2-1. So Bournemouth are not really a small team. However, the fact that Manchester City always struggles to win against Bournemouth doesn't really fit. If you just exclude the recent matches, you will understand that Manchester City is actually better than Bournemouth. If you look at the forms since 2015, it will be clear that Manchester City has always been better than Bournemouth.

Chelsea has already been linked with Martinez, I hope Chelsea will be able to get him, because his performance is just better than Sanchez performance,  Chelsea can't depend on a player like Sanchez.

Certainly Chelsea, with the attackers they possess and the game given by the new manager Xabi Alonso, can be truly dangerous. Definitely a very fearsome attack and with a very fast ball turn, suitable for confusing the opponent and exploiting the spaces that will gradually be created.

There is pressure in the opening matches, the coach has to work hard to keep all the players in the right positions, since the Chelsea team has performed very well in the beginning, but they will have to come in better form in the next matches. To keep all the pressure under control and take the team forward, the coach of each team must strengthen the team through his good leadership. It is never possible to choose whether the team has become strong by looking at the results of the opening match, but we will understand how well Xabi Alonso is leading after watching a few more matches. We should definitely not make positive plans on this issue right now, after conducting a few more matches, we will understand whether the team is actually playing properly and strongly. We still have to wait and see how the next matches will perform against strong teams, and we can choose how much better Chelsea is performing than before.

It's wrong to conclude on Manchester United just because of one game, because the season does not end in week 1 of the premier league, although Manchester United were very poor in their first match and they really deserve the result they got at the end. I still think that Michael Carrick is a decent manager with potentials, so I believe he will definitely do something to improve the performance,  so I will not conclude on any team right now. I think we should all them play at least 10 matches before we can start drawing conclusions on how they will perform in the season.

The invincibility disappeared long before Pep left   City has completely lost its aura in two years, despite attempts to quickly flood everything with money.
I also hope that City will drop points, however, this did not stop me from placing several bets on City, including a bet on Haaland to score. It seems he has been silent for several games now (including the finale as always), so he will score today, and by the way, the odds are normal - 1.80, compare with the odds for Mbappe to score in the last game - 1.33 hahaha.

I believe that Manchester City will definitely dominate this match to secure the win. And I’m confident that in the first half we’ll already see them assert their dominance through ball possession. In their last meeting last season Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace with a convincing 3-0 victory. And they were able to put on a very impressive performance even without Haaland who is their sharpest striker. Phil Foden was a key contributor to City’s victory in that match. And in this upcoming match Phil Foden will most likely support Haaland in launching attacks on the front line. So I personally am confident that a very satisfying result will also occur in this upcoming match. Perhaps Crystal Palace’s home-field advantage might put a little pressure on Manchester City. But I’m confident they’ll be able to break the deadlock with the great experience they’ve shown so far when facing Crystal Palace. I predict that City will beat Crystal Palace by at least a two-goal margin for this match.

Sure, no team will like to lose is second match if he lose the first one, and others that get the opportunity to win will definitely like to continue wining matches to chases the league competition. Manchester united fail to win there first game against Hull city this term, around they will do every Possible best to win against Ipswich this weekend. The first matches that many clubs lose is just the start of the season, they will be strong when all the players have understood there self. This weekend, I think all the big clubs will be able to win their matches, because the opponent are not that strong to challenge.
