I have not experienced these heart-breaking losses as I have been afraid to keep much coin on any exchange. I am sorry for everyone's losses and hope that there are less scams in the future!

I've been pointing the tiny bit of X11 hash I have at Jumbucks Pool.  I'm pleased with the Uno payments they're returning.



Give it a try. Send them Scrypt/X11 hash and start earning Uno. It raises Uno price by buying into the market. Every little bit helps.

My condolences, SgtMoth. It's not just the actual $ loss. It's the potential of the coins, the time you spent developing the community, the negative impact these events have on cryptos.

Im working my way to buying some, I just have to set up another computer for wallets...

Im not convinced m-mining is the answer right now.  More efficient miners will come out this year to help with network.  I dont expect uno price to go up to fast but who knows??  Anything west touches smells of manipulation(crimex, forex, libor, etc etc)  Lots of american owned foreign currency buying up american dollars right now.  Any crypto currency tied to metals.  Brics will be looking for a currency for trade with or many currencies?  Look at all the countries wanting their gold back.  How long till US loses reserve currency/17+trillion debt?  And the war, war, war and terrorism/lies!

another reason for uno with very slim blockchain. After the fork btc chain will very soon be too big to store for the normal user - that means for me i will not be using it anymore because i want no slim versions for me - especially not since bitcoin is decaying rapidly.
I'll sell all my coins before the fork in bitcoin.

Uno beats bitcoin in every aspect.

Lots more people should come to uno for a lot of reasons. I do believe uno will have surpassed bitcoin in marketcap within 700 days maximum. (call me crazy - but quote me on it later)

no, i'm certain. Bitcoin is done and there will be a void to fill. These 2.0 currencies can't do it, uno can.

As for merge mining, it seems ZET and XJO communities are against the merge mining, although I really can't tell why. It really seems like it would draw good attention to them from being aligned with $UNO?

Neither of these two coins have ever forked since release.  Forking is not something to be taken lightly.

Hash will rise and fall with the price, as we've seen.

At .0055 it was about 15 Ths. At .0083, it's nearly 25 ths according to Chainz.
To sustain this current level of mining in May following the next reward halving, the price of Uno will need to be .016.

If Bitcoin falls 50% by May the price of Uno will need to be .0312 to sustain this level of compensation to miners in USD terms.  Although I'm grateful for every single Ths Uno has right now, it should be higher. Uno deserves a stronger blockchain.

Some have pointed to the falling price of Asics as an opportunity to increase hash. This is true, but it also presents some risk as hash becomes cheaper for attackers as well. Therefor, our hash needs to be rising steadily to at least keep pace with would-be attackers.

I currently provide a mere 1 ths of hash to the network. I wish I could give more. Thanks to everyone else who contributes. Mining Uno is not profitable for me, but I'll do it anyway. Miners who treat this as a business rather than as a hobby (like me) may not stick with Uno if the price doesn't take a big jump within the next 4 months.

While merge mining other coins against Uno (authPow/Uno) could increase the profitability of mining Uno (assuming these are coins that actually trade and have some value), I'm still an advocate of AuthPow with Uno. I haven't seen an argument yet that isn't built on a level of optimism that makes me cautious. I respect the opinions of  those who aren't certain yet that AuthPow/btc is the way to go. You who are working now to recruit other coins to AuthPow to Uno, please keep me posted. I'm very interested in your learning, and I thank you for being out there inviting others into our community. I'd love to see that work, but the clock is ticking.

On one point I'm 100% certain: all of us here want the best for Unobtanium. Lets all keep open minds and see how things develop in the weeks ahead.
