Be a Part of History – Blockchain Voting!by Benjamin G. Will
The Unobtanium (UNO) community is celebrating it’s 1st birthday with a public vote for charity, an award for the most-favored inventor/innovator nominated by the community! Already with exciting nominees changing the world for the better, this project promises to capture the imagination of the public, an inspiring breath of fresh air.
Using the power of the blockchain for the purposes of immutable representation, voting, even with a great degree of anonymity, has remained elusive in the evolving world of cryptocurrencies. Originally, Namecoin (NMC) was planned to be used for just that purpose, although the possibility has always been with any blockchain cryptocurrency, even Bitcoin. Other coins have been in development specifically to be designed for public voting, but none are currently known to have actually been used, yet, for public votes. Certainly a crude form of largely anonymous public voting occurs on blockchains when people select purchases or charities off of a menu of options, but these are not formal votes.
Well, the Unobtanium (UNO) community isn’t waiting for a special algorithm or method for ideal blockchain voting! All are welcome to join in the fun of making history in the 1st official public vote written on a blockchain!
The Blue Crypto AwardEnter The Blue Crypto Award! Billed as the 1st Annual Blue Crypto Award, with plans of expanding the next year to host additional award categories, the 2014 Blue Crypto Award will be a winner-take-all 100-UNO gift awarded to the inventor/innovator with the most votes. Members of the public are invited to recommend nominees on The Blue Crypto Award

9. 1st project capable of fully financing it's 2nd year from the 1st year's revenue, alone, by design
Unobtanium (UNO) itself is a rare cryptocurrency, considered a cryptocommodity, with approx 190,000 UNO currently in float with a maximum of only 250,000 to ever be mined. It had a very fair launch on October 18th, 2013, announced in advance, with small block rewards from the start.
All are invited to participate in this historic project! Voting begins on September 16th.
