Regarding @coaex, let me come clean. I accumulate metals (have for many years), and this order with Coaex for gold was mine. I didn't expect it to cause a rukus. It was a very small percent of my Uno that I spent with Coaex; but I want to support Uno merchants (I have here Uno-branded silver, a titanium engraved Uno wallet, Uno t-shirt, Uno cryptochips & hopefully soon Uno Bitstickers -- love all things Uno). And anyway, I already replaced my Uno on Cryptsy last Friday when I bought the market back up to 0063. Sadly, nobody stepped in to help fill the gap and I don't have a tremendous amount of firepower left at this moment. I didn't consider Coaex's pov, and didn't anticpate the Un short-term price dropping like it did. If he wants to cancel the order, or charge me a premium, I'm cool with that. It's it a drop in the bucket, anyway. Coaex, I appreciate everything you do for Uno, and I want this community to support you and also want the trades to be fair and profitable for you.
It's okay, we haven't got any loss from this trade. Even if we have, it would be subsidized by our reserve - we don't have any intention to charge premiums, fees to our customers. We even share our profit with our loyal customers. To be honest, it's random and depends on the frequency of orders, amount and market condition. To give you a general idea, the profit we share in 2014 is around $800 now and this is just our first year in business.
By the way, we are expecting 250% grow in our business next year, while changing the whole system for Coaex.
The regular e-commerce will stay intact. Additionally, there will be digital gold/silver bullion which can be traded with cryptocoins. However, this will require a lot of coding, security, funds, etc. If it can be implemented by Q3 2015, you will be able to buy/sell Precious Metals with Uno, along with other major cryptocoins and if you would like to cash out, you will be able to withdraw as UNO (with no additional premium/fee) or physical bullion (with a constant premium + shipping) and most of our customers know that we apply one of the lowest premiums in the planet! Therefore, that physical cashout premium will be reasonable.
There are two nice examples which inspires us. One is Bullion Bitcoin from UK (
https://bullionbitcoin.com/) and the other is Provident Metals (
https://www.providentmetals.com). What do you think about this exchange? To me, it's like turning into fiat with UNO.
