I would like to know some updates too regarding his friend.
We are replying our opinions here in his thread but I don't know any updates to the addicted gambler.

You are betting = you are gambling. Bet is a form of gambling so they are somewhat the same.

Sad story, gambling addiction is a big problem for modern people. Some religions have a strong power of humans to prevent them from committing sin but this is never enough after tasting the sweet winnings. If the person can make the salary less than 1 week, automatically the psychology tempts him to repeat the same circle and get rid of hard work. This is the dangerous point before turning yourself a beast that can't beat without spinning a  slot or betting on horse/football matches. Professional support is essential to stop hurting yourself but the person should accept this before talking to a close circle.

What I noticed is that gambling was not like before, in the paste, there were no much computers and no phones, many people were not having access to gambling sites unlike now, people are using mobile phones and computers to access gamblimg sites now, that is why gambling is now accessible to many people.

I do not think that technology has something to do with addiction. Even if you lack access, once you get a taste and you become addicted, you will find ways to get your fix. Gambling has been a problem ever since, it is just that at this age of information and technology, they bridged a toxic culture that crippled people's finances and broken up familial bonds. It is not necessary to blame technology because an individual is responsible for his/her actions. Rehabilition that have an effective aftercare is the key in making sure addiction is slowly but surely obliterated in our society.

Well, putting or staking something, usually money is betting. If you bet something that means you are gambling.

Not all of those addicted gamblers want to be rich that quickly. There are gamblers that just wanted to get back losses they've had but they just kept on losing in the long run. Taking your distance in gambling won't solve your addiction, you need to face it and accept that you are addicted. If you will just put yourself away like that, your desire to gamble will just build up and will blow up in time.

Indeed. That is what we need to concern about when we are playing gambling. Gambling addiction can be a danger if we don't have control and discipline to ourselves because when we lose that thing, we will not have a chance to have money. All of our money will be gone in a short time, and I don't think that we can recover the loss because we don't have any money at all. We can learn from this lesson, so we don't have to get the same experience.

This is a true sequence when someone is already addicted to gambling. I know someone that already been addicted, and he is now selling his properties to sustain his gambling habit daily. All of his properties are already sold, and only his house is not sold yet. If you know someone or you have a friend that already addicted to gambling try to rehab them. I think there is a rehabilitation center for addiction to gambling.

Betting for fun could aswell get your friend addicted again, and not just greed or his attachment to the huge prizes. If there is nowhere else he could derive fun, he could keep betting just to have fun and "waste money". I'd rather advice him to quit gambling altogether and instead learn to be profitable/successful bettors.

Players like that, should seek professional help, in order for them to be introduced in other ways to earn money. Because most of them are just desperate to make money that's why its really hard to get pass compulsive gambling unless you can change your mentality to earn in different ways, and only play gambling with the money you can afford to loss. Your friend is in extreme addiction. At least he siad all that happened with him. Recently in my country one person ended his life losing everything out of gambling, he took money from the office and spend on gambling to recover the losses. Fortunately he wasn't able to win, and the same made him end his life. Once you find a person addicted take necessary action to get them out of it, atleast try to make them realize the impact of gambling.

So if we have time to fix an addiction make sure we really do that, it affects all not only the money but the relationship to your relatives.
If a person want to change their bad habit in playing they can get a help fo his family if they already uncontrolled.
Wasting time and your money is not good because instead of playing you spend it to the business or investing that can help you to build yourself for good future.

I am sure all of us who have played gambling, surely know that not being able to control ourselves when playing gambling will be addictive.
If you are addicted, you will usually have a lot of debt, and if you have a lot of debt, I'm sure your life can be chaotic. So don't make gambling

Sorry for the loss dude, I had an opposite fortune today on slots.
I have won some nice amount in USD.
I'm new to slots, but I think if you will be betting 11 Euro or that horrifying bet of 255 is a bizzare idea specially if you have limited Euros on your wallet.
In mycase, I prefer betting less than $1 on any slots as I have small amount of money to bet.
Luckily, sometimes I hit huge multiplier.
