I think a psychologist and a support group is the best way to go for him if he is not able to find the will to quit in himself.

What I noticed is that gambling was not like before, in the paste, there were no much computers and no phones, many people were not having access to gambling sites unlike now, people are using mobile phones and computers to access gamblimg sites now, that is why gambling is now accessible to many people. I find very interesting how the world can change so quickly in just one generation, I still remember that back when I was younger most people had a negative attitude towards gambling to the point that those that liked the activity had to hide it even from their loved ones, but now people do not care and it is not rare to find people in social media sharing pictures of themselves at the casino, or at least they did before the pandemic forced them to close their doors, and they get a lot of likes and almost no one judges them for it which is quite refreshing if I am being honest.

Easy in theory but in fact, your advice will not be easy to apply for gambling addicts. Gamblers have different backgrounds in life and if that gambler gambles for an income, then as long as that gambler doesn't earn better than gambling then in the end any advice will be of no use to him. Indeed, if gambling is only seen as about losses and losses it would give an assessment of gambling that is a waste of time, but would the winning side and those with high luck gambling still be said to be wasting time? Technology advances, the fast-growing internet, and the evolution of the lifestyle have made this possible. In the past, some people were embarrassed or hard to have access to play gambling, because at that time gambling activities were not something that needed to be shown up and there were not many platforms that provided gambling services.

Its really on case to case basis because not anyone will having the same level of control on oneself, some might be really strong-willed and some will really be just easily been hooked up

Yes, still I am a newbie at gambling. Because I don't spend much time. I just involved a few weeks ago and still learning. At this time, I make some profit though. I am also not so engaged in gambling i'm afraid that i'll lose my bets, afraid to lose money. I know how risky gambling was and the mere fact that some gamblers who frequently gambling were somewhat being addictive to it makes my fear goes strong. Greedy people wanted to make money instantly or getting rich but this seems impossible in gambling and so to have this attitude.

We appreciate your advice but still for some of us it is still hard to control ourselves and lead to addiction. Of course it would start for fun and once you've experienced winning I doubt your greed always be there and will start by little until it consumes you. For me I controlled it after I realized that I lose more rather than my winnings and now I tried to play in sports betting rather then in casino games.
