Why most of us are losing money in sports betting?

I believe that most of us are losing money in sports betting, but I'd like to know based on what you read and your experience (if you have) the reasons why we are losing. Personally, I've been gambling for years, I'm just an ordinary gambler who can't be too serious with gambling, but I can't deny that I have been losing money more than I win.

I think people who have been losing money in sports betting especially soccer complain is because they play on many games at the same time. This can be a big problem that can make someone to lose but a single game has a better chance of being accurate bet. Maybe if you are going through that in your betting, you now see what to do.

But from what I have experience and I noticed from some of my friends, they are good at analyzing match ups but they often go with the high odds team for the chance of more winnings. It's not bad luck or by chance but its really true that losing has a higher chance than winning I think, the gambling operators will not invest a big amount of money if they know they will lose, as you can see, there is only a few wherein people go home with money in their pockets, most of the time banker wins, if you calculate for example in any game there are lots of choices and combinations to choose from which the chances are slim, and only luck will be on your side.

1st tip: Don't be greedy always even if it's sportsbetting.
2nd tip: Put a loss limit on that day you will bet on multiple games.
3rd tip: Set a minimum bet per game even if you feel confident.
Last tip: Separate your profit always. For example you bet 0.01 then you win 0.011, exclude the 0.001 from your bankroll.

Honestly I have some working systems but I lose when I be greedy and play with my heart rather than my mind. I think I have really good systems based on mathematical analysis and statistics. When I use them I usually win. Either those winnings are not fulfill my greed or I couldn't be patient. That's why I lose -when I lose-, these are old times though. I only play for fun now, I don't have big expectations. I used to gamble a lot and lose a lot. Overall probably I'm still negative but I handle my greed and don't go down more.

The logic is very simple, if these people are winning, what are they sharing their picks?
if you have thought of that, you'll never gonna follow their bets or avail their paid services.

Yes, but take it as fun, I don't think it can always be like that, I mean we are serious in gambling, we should seriously take it, like a job or a profession where our goal is to succeed.

Know is the most important thing we should have when we are gambling, but most of the time we still lose despite having that knowledge. So you are saying that you are already up with your overall gambling journey? From the start until now? If you have sort of record book, you'll know that.

Most gamblers got fueled to gamble more if ever they won. It is likely they are doubling their bet in the next bet as they think that they can double their winnings as well. And the other big mistake is that chasing those losses to recover in the next bet.

I a casual gambler as well and that OP has said is the real thing that it happens in gambling. Gambling can't be just a winning, not totally a place we think that it makes us become a millionaire, not a place that we think we can make double, triple our money but this a place for entertainment and possibly we gonna lose more than of winning.

If there are losers, there will be also winners for sports betting for me, this is not like a casino which some people always said: "The house is always the winner".
I believe that sports betting or gambling is a really difficult way to earn money, but what I see in sports betting, it really needs your time, efforts to analyze or having good risk management also even though it is gambling.

I'm very successful when it comes to football gambling I'm not saying I'm rich but I've been able to reduce my losses with my little techniques of a little odd, big stake. It pays with time you only need to be consistent enough.

The reason most people lose money on sports betting is because they have no knowledge of gambling in greed they jump to make more profit then they lose more and lose everything in case of betting you have to have a good idea about the game even if it depends on your luck. Gambling is quite reasonable you have very little chance of winning in the long run because gaming companies keep their margins gradually you have to master its techniques and move forward.

let the banter go. I will tell you about my humble experience (I am a novice, I am only in sports betting for 1 year and 2 months):

At the beginning I did the following:

I went to the premier league and chose all the games and analyzed them based on what I learned on youtube and google, and when the round ended I lost more than I won... I did the same thing for the Spanish league, German and Italian and Portuguese. in the end I only accumulated losses!

Well, until one day I thought:

Why don't I just choose the team games that I like and know? and tested it and the results were good.

I am hoping, maybe they can help, besides, our enemy here are the bookies, if we can win consistently, then we can all make money.

I know not everyone is putting their money in one side alone, but at least we will be learn some technique that could help us develop our strategies.

If people will share their strategy then good, but actually it's not easy to convince the mind of the gamblers, they always have a doubt even if you are already showing them some proof, and I guess that's really how our minds as a gambler works.
