If we place a bet today, will we know the result 3 years later? I'm really curious if someone placed a prediction and waited for 3 years
And what if we compare it to placing money in the bank vs betting on this option, which one is more profitable 

If you place money in the banks, after 3 years it will be devalued to more than 50% because the way these people are printing money , the inflation rate will increase. I do understand that this particular bet results will come after 3 years and you can use ooms to place bet on this. However there are many other bets which will complete in much quick time. You can participate in them and not put your money in the bank.

What's so special about waiting for the 3 year, whether the multiplier increases to x500 ? or there are other interesting things

It's an unusual market. Personally I do think there's a decent chance that BTC will drop back below 20k at some point this year - but at the same time I'm confident we'll also see BTC above 50k this year.
So betting 'yes' here to a drop below 20k doesn't necessarily imply a bearish outlook, more a view that volatility will be sufficient that at some point on BTC's inexorable journey to higher prices, it may once again clip below that 20k threshold.

I do think that the price drop was because of the double spend FUD which was being published everywhere and the people realized it now and are now trying to buy the bitcoins back , 50k , wouldn't it be too much of a mark? Since we have already stretched the btc well enough .

Is this even worth it ? Waiting for like 3 years ? I do know that humans will make such advancements but I do not think that it would be that soon since we have not seen amazing incomparable discoveries in the 2000's , mars is safe for a robot right now but not safe for humans for sure. Plus with COVID I think it would already slow everything down.

Then it would be more like a bond with a bank for 3 years , that should ofc increase the multiplier but *500 isn't this too much ?

It won't give any extra benefits if we place bets now and wait for three years to know the result. Those winning chance are calculated based on some related facts. The only benefit is, you will have higher odds if you place the bet earlier than other bettor. There are many market available which will be resolved shortly or after few months. I place bets on football markets to get the result shortly. If you really wish to make bets on those market then wait for two years and place your bets when the market reach near to the final result date.

I guess it is not sole volatility but rather big whales cashing out while manipulating the market making it look like the market is crashing to shaken weak hands and buys the dip before letting Bitcoin to skyrocket again, squeezing more profit from the market.  If it is solely a correction, I don't think the price will go that deep let alone the volatility itself, that is just my thinking but who knows, anything may happen in Bitcoin world   .

Unusual but still has high probability for that to be the result. Bitcoin is still bullish for a long period of time, however we should always look out and expect that anytime bear market might come. For the next month, I guess bitcoin will still be intact on its current value, and I strongly believe will reach higher all time highs in the upcoming weeks, very soon.

There are lots of undiscovered area in our world, and scientists is yet to found them so I am highly hesitant that human will find evidence of life out of the earth before 2025, aside from that the outside earth exploration technology is not yet that capable  of thoroughly surveying the outer space.  All our scientist have are assumption, theory and made-up calculations.

I think there are still bettors here that believe about the future of this Site or Maybe they are Using the PlayMoney or Ooms to put their Bets and so they are just hitting the game with no so real funds.

Bettors will always bet either to win money or have fun proving their own theories.  Those who wanted to win money will of course bet in a way they will win reall money such as using Bitcoin while those who wanted to have fun proving their own theory or point of view is correct won't mind betting in play money since all it matters is they had made their stance  .

True, the Bear market never ceases, it just either dormant or become dominant, but for now, I don't see any reason for the Bitcoin bear market to be dominant since there is no bad news or anything that may turn the tide of the market.  I also believe that during this year, a series of new ATH will be recorded (following the 2017 Bitcoin blast).

Thanks for this reminder, DroomieChikito. I didn't notice Futuur has started this new fun tournament. I will reread the OP's post for a clearer understanding of the game mechanics. It seems I am a little bit confused as to the valid entries.

Anyway, I haven't tried betting with as low as 0.001mBTC so I am also not sure if there is a minimum bet in terms of Bitcoin betting. What I noticed, though, was that there is a certain maximum and minimum bet depending on the certain question and its corresponding percentages of the available options. This is as far as Ooms betting is concerned. I am not sure if there is a different set of rules involving Bitcoin betting.

I've just placed several bets using Ooms a short while ago and I was surprised that I was not allowed to bet 100 Ooms in "Will the US distribute at least 100 million Covid-19 vaccine doses by the end of Biden's first 100 days in office?" I used to make 100 Ooms as my minimum bet. I was betting on the No with only 8% of the turnout. So there must be a minimum and maximum bet which is probably relative to the question and the percentage.

Probably you need to be very naive and not understand anything at all in space programs in order to seriously think that people will land on Mars before the end of 2024?  Probably the authors of this dispute have heard enough of Elon Mask, who is promoting himselfis on the issue of Mars.  What are his statements about the resettlement there of almost a million inhabitants of the earth and the organization there of some kind of local community, such as local government.  But probably someone also entered this dispute with a leverage of 1/500. 
What is the point of investing if you know for sure that no one will reach Mars in 2024, and maybe even in 2034.

Yes, the chance of this happening is effectively zero.

You can still profit if the odds look favourable. If you put a bet on now, and then subsequent bets by other people swing the odds in your favour, then you can cash out to profit early, well before 2024 comes around.
It's interesting in that you're not betting just on the outcome itself, but you can also win by predicting how the odds will change over time. It gives two different opportunities to win... Not that you'd know from my consistent losses on the football

Minimum winning amount need to be 0.1 mBTC. And mini bet limit is 0.001 mBTC. Actually the mini bet amount depends on the outcome odds. But we can't place lower bet than 0.001 mBTC. ‘DroomieChikito’ is right about it. And maximum winning limit is 5 mBTC. But it does make sense, with the odds at only 5%. If the 'real' chance is actually say 8%, and you make bets on 20 of these 5% markets and the 'real' chance is 8% on all of them, then it's likely that you'll come away with a profit.
There's perhaps another angle here, too, if you can find a sports event that is a few weeks or months away, then it's likely people will bet based on each team's current form... so you'd be able to exploit any changes in form between now and the event taking place, by profiting as the odds change.

It is good to see that they also have eSports added.  If you see there is a Brazilian Championship of League of Legends (CBLOL) that can place bets per match.  I'm playing it, just the Wild Rift on mobile.  Hopefully, they will add more like MLBB, just after the M2 World Tournament held in Singapore and the Philippines won and took home the trophy prize as the champion at the end of the event.  It is very hype to watch such matches because even if you are just at home you can watch it live on your devices.

Good that someone is reminding here about the event Futuur is having now but i find it difficult to Join like me that loves to Bet in futuristic forecasting and not those coming near .

i love This site really but the price is too low for me to try betting in event that i don't feel betting.
