Wow, I can't believe that I missed this site for so long.

I like the fact that there is a very wide range of events that you can stake on, and also that you can trade your positions before expiry. That is definitely much better compared to traditional sportsbooks who either do offer this or charge ridiculous fees for doing so.

I do wonder though, some markets are very prone to insider play (e.g. movies). Is there any strategy to mitigate this?

They've been here for a while already and its just they didnt really make out some updates or being too active into their thread and thats why they do really have lesser attention into this place.

When it comes to range of events then theres no denial that they do really have that thing but due to duration or on the waiting time before you could able to know the results
which is most talking about future events then this is where people do lost up interest.

Although there are still people who does love this kind of way of betting or simply serving out different market based off with different interest.

Also, the addition of other payment methods is one major update for this betting platform. However, the futuur team has not made any major promotion yet for this update. I believe, they need to run some contests or promos that will revive the interest of the gambling community. I hope they survive long as they are quite unique in terms of betting here.

They are currently accepting Bitcoin, LTC, TUSD and Eth which you can make use aside of using ooms which is an in-game token.

Sounds interesting , if ever this happens then they are the very first site inside this forum to offer and organize such game in which surely many Bitcointalkers will partake.
I myself will surely end up betting in each predictions .

I do not think that it is really that interesting, after all it is a forum and the stats here do not mean as much to worldwide as to us. Just to give an example, there was a 700+ million dollar number somewhere I can't remember betting on USA president election results from outside of USA, not even including American bookies, so that means people spent nearly a billion dollars total to bet on American presidential election outcome, that is a huge deal (or maybe it was 70 million, I do not remember it has been nearly a year).

So, all I am saying is that bitcointalk is special to us and I love it, but futuur can't just make a bet just for all of us here, they have to make sure that the ones they do are basically loved by everyone and interested and gets attention from everyone they can find, that is the main thing. Which is why I believe that we should be focusing on getting them to list more global stuff.

That is totally correct , Futuur is targeting worldwide Bettors and this will not provide only from inside members of the forum , we even prove that gamblers outside this forum is more comparing to those who plays and enter this forum.
But of course they can provide this prediction inside to target Bitcointalk players and this will also generate income for them and also popularity inside bitcointalk.
so they will fish twice at the same time.

Definitely, those BTT users are primarily interested in events and forecasts and the corresponding rates in the field of cryptocurrencies.  For example, such as predicting the bitcoin rate by January 1, 2023, or, for example, whether the capitalization of ethereum will be greater than the capitalization of bitcoin by January 1, 2025, etc.
If Futuur can organize such bets, then it will definitely be popular here on the forum  and in general, among everyone who has heard about cryptocurrencies, and quite a large part of the world's population already knows about them.

For example in the past days I was looking for where to complete my place, so I do bet on the third division of a team in a remote country that nobody knows, seriously, I know that league and they play in such unfavorable conditions that I don't know how they appear in a betting house.

So those who bet there, the townspeople, maybe they don't have internet for a bet (sarcasm) this also tells you that not all offers receive bets. Therefore I would bet a satoshi that a proposal from the forum would receive more bets than many of the offers that are there in Futuur.

you have to add when reached 3,5 Million user also. for this moment we got closed 3,350,000 + members, maybe for not exact years but for a month also.

for this moment, the user who has 8500+ merit is LoyceV and Theymos. when we guess the year when it happened?, I guess it happens in 2022.

I do understand your Point mate and i am in no doubt about in the forum but In general market in which this gambling site offers , that is what my concern are, because generally bettors of futuur comes from outside this forum and we can find that on how this community respond in this thread about how futuur manage their business in Bitcointalk promotion.
But of course this will generate income to the company though the target market is not that huge comparing to worldwide events,.

But count me in when this option takes place as i am very much interested in forum events specially ABOUT the progress of members and the forum itself.

I think this is a bad idea: Betting money on predictions that can be influenced by users means it can be cheated. And users can be accused of cheating without even knowing these bets exist. So please, leave me out of this

The same goes for reaching 4 million Bitcointalk users: spambots can easily create many accounts, even if they can't post because of evil IPs.

Some options and ideas have already been mentioned, hopefully their "Bet on Anything, Anytime" premise will come to an end with at least one market.

I have seen that the simple "Yes-No" option is used frequently but for example to:

It does not work well, because this number can be determined in the average gain of merits of all those involved, so Q: "No" is an absolute winner for this year.

So, Yes!! there are only two contestants is disaggregated knowing these data and loses importance. It is necessary to make it more complex and add days and even hours for the calculation of the odds, in this way it would not have a very unbalanced advantage for one of the parties.

That is, with a glance at the BPIP page it would take you a few seconds to secure your winning bet, I do mention this page but it can also be done in the forum although the process is a bit more cumbersome.

Spambots!! I think this exists and it will always exist without the need for such an offer to appear on any bet page.

But it could be limited to one bet size with certain types of statistics, for example the one you mention. e.g. max 0.0001 BTC (+ - $ 4 / $ 5)

In any case there are so many statistics related to the forum that you could simply select the least influential ones, but in reality or in the causticity of my idea in your thoughts, you just look for the good vibes, sharing, and to be honest if someone is going to waste time doing "evil" for a few satoshis, he deserves to be cop/catch/discovered/exposed and banned.

I would say that it still adds a suspense but that is something that could be done very easily for free. Which means someone could wager a big amount for a date and then go out and create a ton of new accounts to make it reach at that moment. This will allow them to win by spending nothing, and it could be a problem for the bet, otherwise the idea itself is good if not for the fact that it could be manipulated so easily.

Basically merit is not like that, one can try to manipulate it as well but it will not be easy because getting merit is hard and it is not as easy as starting a new account. I also don't think this forum needs its own token. Better stay that way, this forum I believe, can exist without such project. Maybe, aside from thinking of another market related to this forum, better run another round of their campaign here to revive the interest of players. Contests or bonus programs can also play an important role in attracting bettors and sustain their interest. I have seen casinos here with regular contests, and it seems they are maintaining the interest of their regulars.

It is not about changing the whole thing about the forum, it is about just making some more money from another place. Bitcointalk also had a donation thing that they collected a lot of money, theymos is one of the richest people in the entire world when it comes to bitcointalk thanks to that, it was bigger than all the advertisements they got, because it was early days and they were getting like 50 bitcoin a pop and they said they would do a huge forum overhaul and get a new software made, then what happened?

The forum is still the same forum. You do not have to change anything about the forum, just make a thing called "merit" and then people could give it to each other like right now, and that would be basically enough. I am not saying it will happen, it may not happen at all but that is the good thing about the bets as well, you wager on something that you may fail.

So there is no way to make any fair betting market which will be related to bitcointalk forum? They have pretty low betting limit now. As a result the winning amount won't be very high. You can highly get around $30(0.0006 BTC) profit by placing bets on any market. Although it may change by little, but do you think that people will cheat by creating thousands of account for the small profit?
