The site UI is great and the ideas are great too, just had a look at some of the prediction cases presented and these are well presented. Obviously a lot of hard work went into making this site and acquiring all the information - well done for doing such a good job.


My concern, however, is the monetary side of this, because you start off with 10,000 OOms and these can accumulate or reduce depending on your predictions, I don't really see the incentive people would have to buy them, even if they're advertised as shares? Surely if they enjoy making these predictions they can just register with a different account using A VPN since as far as I've seen no KYC is required. Is this something you thought about?

I think this new form of gambling that gives you the ability to predict almost anything worldwide from politics to entertainment is kind of underrated and it will get way more popular in crypto space soon enough, specially as we saw how huge was the demand recently for betting on US election results, had a quick look at this website and its different categories for predictions and it looks like it covers almost any major event and also the whole website design is great, just hope this new type of betting gets the attention it certainly deserves.

I just recognise the situation being the same as change.org: most petitions are getting really little voters, while other, having good media support - will subsequently raise and raise votes. So this type projects really should have algorithm for equalising chances of a bet to become popular, disregarding any mass media support... For ex, for users willing to take part in really popular bet, they they can make obligatory to stake a bit for a bet not so popular

Regarding the question of Ooms, this is our play-money currency which is not worth anything, beyond the social reputation aspect.  There is no way to purchase or sell Ooms using real money.  We operate our Bitcoin markets in parallel with our Ooms markets, and they are unrelated in terms of price and liquidity pools.

This is an interesting point.  We are working on making sure our algorithm surfaces the most relevant markets for a given user, and we have a lot of work to do on that front.  One thing to consider though is that there is an incentive to find markets with relatively few bettors, because those are the ones which are most likely to have mispriced outcomes, and represent a smart bet.  And as these markets get more bets, they will naturally rise in the algorithm.

I really like the layout of your platform. And with polling once again off during this election I think that prediction markets will only increase in their significance as a truer reflection of event odds, so you are really on the money with the idea.

Just wondering though, what exactly distinguishes you from competitors such as Fairlay precisely?

Is it that your primary business is still providing a somewhat social, fun way of predicting with playmoney? Because I feel like it'll be difficult to compete with Fairlay which essentially offers precisely the same service with very low fees and an established presence and regular turnover.

The site is good and unique but what I don't like is there are some predictions and forecast that the answers are too obvious where you do not need to create a forecast or pool between two out comes for example in sports mainly in NBA, there is a question about the continuing of the duo of Harden and Westbrook; there are already news released that Harden declined the offer of Houston and he wants to switch team and the main rumor is they are going to form a big 3 in Nets.  The answer is too obvious that the duo already fall apart wherein we will not see both of them playing in just one team. Not all of the answers and voting in Futuur is not reliable as for my analysis.

Got it! I'm sure your initiative will be a great progress in gambling! And also, I suppose, at some point it can become really popular among non-IT users. Nowadays, especially due to lockdown, we can observe the use of online services with money transactions increasing tremendously, with main retail deliveries and online purchases becoming nearly as popular as social networks. In this context online bet service should become popular as well, and you solve the main problem of this business - by making it unitary instead of specific.

Same here. As far as I can remember, this is the first time I encounter a kind of betting site which is very straight forward. It is just between players or teams, or sometimes with a tie as a third option, and yes or no. And that's all.

I'm very much used to placing bets on odds, which are a whole lot in every single game. But Futuur has made everything pretty much simple and uses percentages instead.

This is really new in my experience. I'm kind of excited. The feel on the site is that you are not in a gambling or betting site.

I was thinking the sell now is best used in predictions that might take weeks or months before finally decided, or perhaps when you change your mind, or you want to take a profit before the result comes in. In the case of my first prediction, it's better to just wait for the result for a higher share. But I will take note of it. Thanks!

I currently have one prediction on whether "Bitcoin’s price fall below $15,000 at any point in December 2020." If my outlook on Bitcoin's price changes, I might make use of it.

value then that would be good or can be directly converted to btc internally since it doesnt have current market value.

I am very astonished the way they have put these type of contests or imaginative contests to play. I mean we have already seen various sites offering prediction market and winning based on the % people enrolled in it. After seeing this site and various contests on it I am pretty sure this is completely new story for everyone and will enjoy playing on it.

Since everyone is having the same opinion about it, its clear case that Futuur is best way to earn some bucks along with lot of excitement. Hopefully I will play and win and will also put some screenshots once I do it.

I have checked that they only have 2 currencies over there, BTC and Ooms (no value as this is their play money).
Since the price of btc is increasing and the tx fee is also getting expensive, are they going to add more alts?
Maybe XRP, DOGE, LTC or EOS. They have relatively low transaction fees.
Because if other options are available, I believe, they can get more gamblers here.

This is interesting and I'll look into this one since prediction is fun and really exiting. Anyway welcome to the cryptoworld Futuur, its good to see such prediction game and allows you to earn profit through your own analysis. Will surely try predicting on this one, though BTC is the only cryptocurrency that is being accepted aside from their own token, hopefully to see more option especially those token with a lower transaction fees.

Also, we don't know if the platform can sustain themselves 2 years from now or more. Just play safe with your funds. It is better to bet actual money for the items that you will get results in few days or at least few months.

The problem is this, I guess there are a lot of gamblers who will doubt the platform capability and ask this way. Is this platform will survive 2 years or more and thinking about your fund is safe. I remember there's someone who makes a thread a long term betting just who will be the first country that goes to outer space on earth. It's really hard to wait that long and better to beat when there is a result in just a couple of days.

However, we had a different taste here, if you want more excitement and as an investment as well, Futuur gambling is the best for your future.
