After being inactive since last six months Futuur team has made a tweet on their social media account. Futuur team wasn't active on social platforms and here in this forum, but they never stopped to update new betting markets. Although there is pretty low activity of the bettors. But it will increase if they give update here and in their social accounts on regular basis.
Currently I have 8 active bets there with real money. All those bets are placed on football matches. Hoping to win some of my bets.

I'm not entirely clear why their social media activity had dwindled, but I'm glad they are back. I liked Futuur's innovations. There are some unique gambling experiences offered by Futuur, and it's a shame they're not being promoted more, so that we finally see some activities in the market.

I would say that there will be some people who will want to bet, and there will be some people who will be disgusted and that's about it. I mean think about it what in the world do not have lovers and haters and that will be truth here as well. There will be some people who will be gambling thousands of dollars on those type of covid related stuff or even worse stuff as well because nobody cares, look at the darknet and you can see how bad people could get, betting on covid is not really that bad at all.

In general, a lot of nasty and vile messages and events are posted on the Internet.  Many of them go beyond the boundaries of the moral and ethnic norms of a civilized human society.  I also think that betting on some tragic events is completely immoral and the project of Futuur should have introduced restrictions on immoral and bloodthirsty bets, even though there are quite a few moral monsters who will play on the death and tragedy of other people.  Covid and the epidemic are probably also related to such bets and should not be offered to players.

I am not sure if that is what I meant. I meant that there are immoral and unethical stuff that are way beyond what would be considered humane but at the same time Covid bets are not there, it is something we came to experience it and learn to live with it. Think about it the number of people died in the Iraq+Afghanistan war total is not what covid killed in a year, and that is 20+ years wars between many nations. THAT is a sad situation, it is a war, but covid is something natural, no matter how much we ignore it, we have to realize that it is just ... there already.

This is why it is untasteful and should not be available to bet on, however if it would happen to be offered, it also wouldn't be the worst thing neither, it would be probably a bit fine and I would totally understand it. I get that it is still immoral and unethical but not enough to be disgusted neither.

Maybe Futuur should make separate leaderboard and rewards for those players who placed bet using Ooms or a real money, so they can reward them for what they'd staked. If they bet real money, then it's more likely that they deserve rewards that they can use to grow their funds.

I agree with you here. And those players using real coin will be encouraged to bet more if there is some sort of reward or bonus to them. Because right now, the leaderboard in Ooms doesn't matter much as we know it is just play money on the site. They are already spending money with the maintenance itself of the site, so the futuur team should take advantage of their opportunity to increase their regular players. Otherwise, we will see another betting site gone.

There is nothing to argue about, I completely agree that this is already here, and moreover, I adhere to the idea that the epidemic is of a natural nature, and not invented by the evil developers of bacteriological weapons.  However, I must note that there were already bets in Futuure on a topic close to an epidemic - this concerned vaccinations and Biden's promise to vaccinate 100 million American citizens in 3 months.  I didn’t believe that this was possible.  But the media reported that the Biden administration had coped.  This is certainly not a very immoral dispute, but it is just about the epidemic.  Truth in the fight against eridemia.  And this, of course, is quite acceptable.  But if we talk about the number of deaths from the virus, then it is immoral to argue about this.  That's for sure.

it seems that they are not that aggressive in promoting their site considering that they have monthly maintenance of their site. which i can infer that the team behind this has funds to shell out even if the site is not really earning that much (just my assumption that they are not significantly earning). we dont know their actual revenue here.
so if they will continue this approach, i dont think they can gain active bettors here. because the thought of disappearing act can happen anytime.

Well, we know that conducting the right amount of marketing or marketing of some form will pay off if aimed at the right audience. You're right, the team doesn't seem to have been so active on the public facing part but perhaps they are working hard on some new releases??? Not that, that's been advertised anywhere...

What I can tell is that the website is great and because of its features people will still bet, but you can only have confidence in the place up to a point.

Though, I'm sure they won't let their effort go to waste. The place is a real experience, and who wouldn't want to have their say on all things?

I would also like to express my opinion about this project.  And for a long time I wrote here in the topic that I really liked the concept itself and, in general, the idea of ​​development from the very beginning.  It is a pity, of course, that OP does not often write posts in the topics.  And it will definitely be a shame if the project stops working.  Because, for example, I never came across a site with such rates and disputes as here. 
This is definitely the originality of the project and its difference from many others.

Pandemic, not epidemic, those are two different things. However I agree that vaccination is fine, plus it is not even unethical because it is about how quickly will the world recover as well, "how many people will die in the world from pandemic in September?" could be seen as a very bad bet, I would still find it alright and even maybe gamble on it depending on odds and numbers of course, but I would understand people not liking that type of bet.

However "how many people will be vaccinated" is something that talks about the recovery part and I have to say that I am fine about it and that is the good thing about this, we are talking about something that is good in the bad and that should be seen as lovely to bet, after all if pandemic is bad, vaccination and healing is good and betting on good has always been a good thing. People bet on elections, I do not see this any different.

A fine idea IMO, it does have some market, however it isn't like their other prediction games where are most likely for the general users. If they will be adding your idea, we arent sure if there will be enough participants that will try to join and place their predictions.

If they lack funds to promote here, maybe they can try with the social media out there because that could help them gain more people to register on their site and place their bet.
Or they can hire some people from out there or publishers to write an article on their website and spread it among the other websites, giving them the opportunity to have new members.
But still, I guess people will not want to bet on something that seems too long to know the results because they care with their money and do not want to wait for a long time to see the result.

Sounds interesting , if ever this happens then they are the very first site inside this forum to offer and organize such game in which surely many Bitcointalkers will partake.
I myself will surely end up betting in each predictions .

Forum related market will obviously attract many forum members to place bets. The idea of ‘famososMuertos’ is unique. But I think that Futuur team won't be able to create those markets. OP rarely visits here. He doesn't have much information about the forum. He needs to hire an active forum members to create those markets. Have you suggested them about this market by using ‘Suggest a Market’? It's a quicker way to reach them.

Also, the addition of other payment methods is one major update for this betting platform. However, the futuur team has not made any major promotion yet for this update. I believe, they need to run some contests or promos that will revive the interest of the gambling community. I hope they survive long as they are quite unique in terms of betting here.
