When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

ERC - 20 platform is very hot right now and transaction volume is increasing, which makes gas fee increasingly high.  Besides, the big projects are still focusing on using the ERC - 20 platform, so investors are always ready to transfer ETH no matter how high the fee is. Wink

This is the problem of ethereum users before and still nowadays, ethereum gas fee is high. We can't bear this whenever ethereum goes high. I don't know what Mr. Vitalik Buterin needs to do with his coin but I believe that there will become changes in ethereum gas fee someday. As of now, I did not use my ethereum as payment or withdraw using my eth in exchange. It will just give me dissatisfaction about the profits I have earned in trading. Better to move it in ripple.

I would say when they are moving towards phase 0 that should be a lower problem, and when we reach phase 2.0 it should be even lower issue and transaction fees will definitely drop to lower places. I assume under 1 dollar would be the ideal goal here, I doubt it could be any lower than that. I understand that something like 90 cents would still not be at competition levels for many bank movements, but it is at least better than what we have right now, and it would be realistic to drop it that much.

Moreover there is a huge defi market right now that makes ETH popular and I doubt it could continue this way forever, we have seen as much as 12 dollars for a while and with the hype for defi dying down I am sure it will not be as big of a fee as it is right now.

I hope that next month this problem will be fixed. I don't even try to send any ethereum tx due to the non sense fees in the network. I didn't even put a lot of hopes with ethereum 2.0
Ethereum a few years too late to implement the scalability upgrade. This is the main problem in ethereum chain. Once scalability problem will be fixed and the massive adoption can happen with ethereum.
The whales are the party who has been making the ethereum fees become very high at this moment.

i agree with this now a days eth gas fees is very very high now any one can telling eth gas fees is low now is very high gas fees i belive eth gas fees is low coming eth 2.0 it's one the best way to eth gas fees is low and now days so many members jioned crypto currency and joined new project and doing transition then eth gas fees is High i hope price is decreasing

Try avoid redundancy on your thought and words. Your statement content is not easy to understand unless the user will examine thoroughly on what is your thought. ETH V2.0 main purpose is to solve this scalability issue that causes this flying high fees. There are a lot of DeFi project popping in ETH blockchain daily and this cause a major scalability issue on ETH. There is no way that fees will be low again not unless DeFi die instantly which is not gonna happened.

When will this madness end?
Who is willing to pay such amounts for a transaction?

This has always been the problem faced in the ETH blockchain high gas fees and to this point nothing has been done about it by the developer, but I Believe when the etheruem 2.0 is launched this will be taken care of permanently so until then just be happy with what you gst or better still wait till the gas fees reduce then you push your transaction.

Ethereum and few top altcoins are going down fast, now is a good time to send out some Ethereum is you want cause the gas fee is going down as well, tracking with http://ethgas.watch you can see that price is almost back to normal, presently it's at 0.52$ , goodluck

Anyway, Ethereum 2.0 updates could go faster than scheduled, since the deposit contract is already full. If the upgrade goes well, then there is a high probability that we will have better scalability for Ethereum, which will certainly reduce the price of gas.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved after this update, it's tough to sacrifice your assets especially if you only got few amounts of coins that you

wanted to trade, the gas fees that you need to pay is almost the worth of your assets, you'll be thinking twice if you'll going to proceed or just let

the assets to stay inside your erc wallet till the gas fees got reduced.

really makes people disappointed GAS fees on Ethereum are unstable,
makes it difficult for people to transfer, I don't know when they can make Ethereum able to handle fees so that they are not expensive,
if this continues then one important thing in crypto currency will be lost.

the ups and downs of ethereum prices can also affect the increase in transaction costs on the ethereum network. especially when the first big uniswap airdrop appeared, causing slow transactions, ethereum prices to go up, expensive gas costs. but currently ethereum prices are down and fuel prices are down as well.

That's actually great to hear. But, does Ethereum 2.0 guarantee to solve the GAS problem or is there any feature that could possibly solve this problem? If the transaction stays 15TPS I don't think ETH 2.0 will do much at this point.
Hopefully though, the developers already thinking about if before hand so the Ethereum 2.0 won't be futile and the fee decrease significantly.

To end high transaction costs on the ethereum network, the blockchain itself needs to fully convert to POS instead of POW as before. People are organizing auctions to speed up their transactions, the more people want to send deals quickly, they will have to spend more money to make transactions faster.
When removing POW and replacing it with POS, DPOS made sure the cost was fixed. At that point, sudden high costs will no longer happen on the Ethereum network.

Without ETH I think everything is real so ETH is very important to me so I think they should be the solution to ETH transaction fees too. If they don't solve this problem, me and others will move on to another blockchain. Because of this we cannot transact without ETH so 2.0 is very important. The process of resolving Ja has been going on for the last one year, and it will reduce our fees a lot, thank you

It is hoped that gas fees will be reduced after the introduction of eth 2.0. The rate at which gas fees have been charged in the last few months is nothing to say. Many projects have been launched for this gas fee and Bounty hunters have given their website coins as their reward. This problem will be solved when ETH 2.0 is launched.

There are different ways to analyze this issue. Firstly, if you are looking for fast shipping without network congestion and looking for speed in commerce, paying a considerable fee is not bad because the immediate profit gain when sending to another place is higher than the fee price. Now if you have a very small amount of Ethereum or any other token, the price may be too high and it's impossible to send it to another address. The big problem is the slow network and the number of transitions, not the fee.

It was suffered by many of altcoin traders and bounty hunters. Both guy need of Etheereum for the transaction of minor tokens and altcoin. But it was totally taking huge money as a fee. And altcoin traders had no option and just to pay a fee with a force.

For this high gas fee many people face many problems. Specially, bounty hunter face this problem badly. Because, Bounty hunter get their 90% payment by Erc20 wallet address. They want to deposit their token. So,they need ether fee for depositing their token. But, this fee is very high. So,they should small this gas fee.

You probably got to the wrong time, because I now show normal gas in my opinion. If you want to make a transaction, you may have to wait a bit.
