If there is any formula to find an answer for this question then no one is going to lose their money in cryptocurrency space. Altcoin is safe when you choose the right project to invest which is the real task, and in my opinion you can avoid investing on new startups which has more risks.

Preferably while not going for the top altcoins in the market instead of thing and contemplating what project to make investment with. The new generation of altcoins projects are fragile and need care before make invest, of recent the defis' started bullish and little did some investors know that they're be lured into a trap like in the day past (2017). Investment on a new startups projects are more risky than investment with top existing altcoin projects in the industry.

Before taking altcoins as an investment, you must know what altcoins they are. See, many members here also said that some altcoins may be good for investment. but mostly not. You may take them for daily trading or short investment, this may work and make you profits as long as you can get the right strategy. But here, if you are taking the wrong altcoins, it may mean that you are gonna get dead coins or shitcoins. So, be careful, only choose the Top coins with certain analysis in order to know the right choice of your altcoin investment.

Well, it depends on altcoins. There are altcoins that are safe and worth to invest but there are also altcoins that are not. Make your own DYOR when investing in altcoins. Take a look also at the top 100 coins/tokens in coinmarketcap then make research on the fundamentals of each token.

In my opinion, the risk is getting bigger on altcoins. Because there are too many altcoins in the market and we see new ones every day. It is too hard to fully trust an altcoin because of that. Altcoins were also safe as an invetment but investing in some altcoins which are Ripple, Binance and the dominant altcoin was the ETHEREUM. i bet it would be safer to invest in the Ripple which has a continuous maket rise up this past few days. Well, it all depends on how you view it and level of expertise also matters in all of these things. As for me, altcoin is safe for investment, just know the in and out of the project you are buying into their token/coin.

I guess you don't understand that the pitfall in term of investment in newly/startup project is high and knowing the in and out of the project doesn't mean the project will be successful or the project teams won't scam their investors because are done in different ways.

You should ask yourself questions like: What problem(s) does this project solve? Is it potential at all?

It good to make a good research about the project before investing in it but it better to invest in a project that's doing well in the market for years or already listed a new project that's doing well after exchange trading competition.

Altcoin investing in my opinion is safe, if you look for it in the Top Altcoins, the best with a lot of trading volume, for example ETH and LINK, and if you buy or invest in new altcoins that are not necessarily good, you better leave and don't invest

Investing in top coins is always the best solution and at least can increase confidence in our investment. Altcoins are currently also growing with the presence of DEX, so before buying any altcoin, try to do your research or at least check the smart contract

In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .

This is nothing new. The problem started years ago when the corrupt coinmarketcap site listed the xrp scam. It opened the floodgate to the situation which is now. There was a lot of uproar at the time but bribes are a reality. Dont expect any change soon.
