Anything besides bitcoin is an altcoin! And to say is it safe to invest in altcoins is too general of a question!
For your information one of the best performing coins comes from altcoins on any given day,, not even bitcoin comes close in spite being the number one coin.

Just because altcoins could be worth the investment doesn't mean any coin qualifies, you need to know what the projects you interested in and what they are all about, is the team active, Is the coin/project viable to survive in the long term,once these questions are answered then you have your coin.

In now days too much Altcoin Project are Launching one by one and all of them claim that invest in his project because we will be successful in upcoming days but in the end they run away and make a scam. They don't woory about people fund and stole them.
So how we can trust on altcoin to give us profit after investment. Because most of them become Scam and Scam. All of them has one Aim how to stole too much fund .
So how we make altcoin investment safe ?

Check out its white paper, roadmap, and affiliations. They must have a dedicated, legit, and transparent team. A positive community that supports the project is very important as well. Altcoins are also good for investment. But make sure the alts you will buy has enough volume, has a high demand and being used by its holders. One perfect example are NFT games. Learning how to invest in cryptocurrency is one step, being selective and always try to find projects with huge up side potential and small sized risk is another, investing in altcoins is damn risky any little mistake you could lose all your capital to either dump or rug pull, becoming a successful investor is not a one day thing, you need to practice alot and trust me no matter how good you are you will lose a few times when you start investing in altcoins.

I do agree with you. DIVI is an easier crypto wallet. We can put our money to work with DIVI nodes. Set one up in minutes, sit back, and watch the rewards roll in. Crypto rewards have never been so easy like this DIVI. Also from what i heard, DIVI will release swap and debit card by itself in the future. Basically altcoins depend on BTC price. So if BTC increases then altcoins increase and when BTC decreases they decrease. We know that crypto market is volatile and definitely have to take the risk with out taking risk no one can not full fill their desire in this market However, there are some altcoins which are less risky those are BNB, Ether, ADA and XRP.

to answer to OP , investing in alt even in bitcoin brings risks with it but isn't there a little risk in anything but i am also holding some as "safe"investment but better for me to stick also to bitcoin

First of all I try to diversify between different altcoins so that if one was a scam, others could compensate for its collapse. Secondly I am trying to invest in something really worthy or in something trendy, but this strategy is more risky. If I see that this project has interesting ideas, good partners, strong developers and there are many people who are interested in this project, I will buy it.

Altcoin is safe if you are able to choose the correct altcoin for your investment.
Look at Ethereum, this altcoin is giving a huge profit from the beginning of its journey. No other Altcoin can come close to ETH. Bitcoin is starting to pump up a bit, but Ethereum has already moved closer to its previous ATH. My guess is that Ethereum will reach $10k within this year, So along with Bitcoin, Ethereum can be a safe investment for you.

Investment in Altcoins is safe only if you do your research. With many coins coming up on daily bases investors cannot but ensure they find out more about the coin or token. The basic things to is the function of the coin or token - what value is it rendering? who are those behind the coin/token? I think you can buy an existing altcoin project if you are a little doubtful of a new project coming out, and also research the project in the long term from the price movement and development of the project, I'm sure you will find the right one out of the many altcoins.

You are right. Also one can invest in IEO of a famous exchange where listing will be confirmed.  Having 3rd party involved here will keep your investment safe and the team will not get a chance to scam you.

Investing in IEO of a famous exchange is the safest investment however, due to a lot of entries and competitions, you will only get very little amount of those IEO tokens.
I remember, that i participated in last binance IEO and only got 40$ worth of the tokens although i stake too many bnb
